We are glad that Sueann love our place. There is only one lamp in the living room but if you turn on the kitchen lights as well as the battery operated candles on the coffee table. There will be plenty of lightning in the living room as well since they are all connected.

Ocean Beach is one of the last beach in San Deigo with free street parking. The property being one block from the Beach so it is definitely busy. Arriving early in the afternoon will definitely secure a free spots near the property!

All the house rules were basic rules. The fine is only for smoking inside the apartment. Extra housekeeping service will be require due to smoke damage. The guest wanted to check in before 3pm. Hence we have to be informed so that we can try to get it ready earlier, which we did. If they were arriving after 3pm, we will not need to communicate with them at all.

This review highlighted both the positive and negative things about the property.. Everything that we can possibly do to create a great family vacation we have done it. The issues with the noise and parking are out of our control. However most guests are always able to find parking,, it may not be right at the door steps but a few blocks away.

Ocean beach is in the flight path of the San Diego Airport and you will hear plane noise. The frequency depends on the day of the week and the weather as well. Light sleepers will definitely be affected so ear plugs will be helpful.

We are so glad the Grey had a great time and love the location and property. We always text our guest the whole list of restaurants recommendation together with their check in instructions so that they have it on their phone in case they are looking for somewhere to eat but is not at the property to look at the rule book. Also since the pandemic, there are lots of changes to nearby restaurants, many closed and many new ones opened up too! It’s easier to text the guests the update restaurants list prior to their check in.

We really appreciate Rachel for taking the time to give us a great review about the location and amenities of the property. We always ask the upstairs guests to be considerate of the downstairs guests, however some guests from the east coast does wake up early to do some work. If we have been informed, we could have told the upstairs guests to be more quiet in the early morning.

Wow! I had not gotten a 2 star review before! Sharon must be very unhappy about her reservation because of parking. The property has free parking all around but since it’s across the beach, the busy summer months can pose some challenges. We have lots of extension cords in the apartment to help with outlets needs and there are at least 2 to 3 outlets in each area of the apartment too!

For security reasons, we have cameras outside the property and never inside the apartments to supervise housekeeping and service workers as well as making sure that our guests are keeping their dogs and children safe. Renee had a huge group with her and that was not in the reservation so we needed to make sure that they are not intruders to our common space to keep our guests safe.

The location has plenty of free street parking but since it is across from the beach which gets busy, parking is more challenging during sunset.

Thank you very much for the great review! We do provide all the beach amenities that are needed to have a fabulous beach vacation! Since the property is less than 5 mins walk to the beach and also 10mins walk to the restaurants and shops. It is definitely a good choice to use Uber!
