The staff was great. They communicated effectively and they helped out whenever possible. The property is on the smaller side, so if you’re looking for cozy you will enjoy it. The pool area is small, so seating is limited. Other than that, there is a ton to do around the property as the walk path abuts the pool and directly past that is the beach.

Stayed in room 112, right next to the kitchen. Awakened at 6:00 a.m. by noise coming from the kitchen and in front of our door. Noise continued from 6 a.m. on, so unable to go back to sleep. Made for a poor night’s sleep. Property was overall small, but pleasant. Room was large, clean, pleasant. They need hand held shower heads. Would have been a positive stay except foe the early morning awakening.

Room was very nice and pool area was clean and well maintained. Walking path is right in front of the property, beach is visible but you have to use stairs to access it

Loved very nearly everything about our stay here. One somewhat trivial thing was the carts that would roll by in the hallway, they need a greasing. They squeaked and squealed like herds of mice or rats rushing by at all times of the morning and evening. A simple fix to make the stay more peaceful. We would stay here again.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay. Staff was courteous and helpful with tips to take advantage of our stay. Within 20 minute drive of attractions like the Zoo and La Jolla. 30 minutes to legoland and Torrey pines for hiking. We had our 5 year old and they had a bunch of beach toys to keep him entertained at the beach which is a one minute walk from the property. Beach chairs and bikes (even ones with training wheels) included in the resort fee. The pool and hot tub are open until 10pm, perfect for winding down after action packed days. Couldn’t have been happier with this choice.

Pacific Terrace Hotel is a gorgeous Ocean Front(!) property with a beautiful heated pool, jacuzzi and private Italian style patio that overlooks the ocean waves with direct viewing of the beautiful sunset from the ocean front rooms and from the gorgeous pool's deck. The staff is superb- from front desk, concierge, to the housekeeping staff and in house engineer. Perfect location in Pacific Beach!!!! We plan to return every year to this beautiful hotel with a resort feel to it and great staff!

My new favorite place to stay. Property is just one block north of the pier and lots of shopping/restaurants in Pacific Beach. Quiet hotel with lots of amenities and secured underground parking. For the resort fee, you actually get complimentary bikes, beach gear, towels, and warm cookies at 4pm. Staff were excellent - Drew at the front desk and Collette in reservations provided lots of tips and made our stay wonderful. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood and loved the true California beach community - surfers, bikers, joggers, dog walkers and tourists made for a fun weekend. Thank you.
