Great Location Great Amenities
This house was perfect! The kitchen was well-stocked, there was an extra propane cylinder for the gas grill on the patio, the neighborhood was quiet & safe. There is off-street-in-a-locked-gate area for parking & we parked our second car at the curb in front of the house. No problems at all. A mini-mart 2 blocks away had everything we needed. Everyone loved the pool. There is no air-conditioning on the main floor, but we did not need it, with the front door left a jar and the sliding glass door to the patio open, a very refreshing breeze flowed through all day. There are pedestal fans on the main floor, and beautiful orchids & tropical plants all around the pool patio. The upstairs has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, with air-conditioning in each bedroom. There is one downstairs bedroom with a bunkbed and a half-bath. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. TV & internet kept teens entertained when they weren’t in the pool. Washer & dryer & plenty of cleaning supplies were provided. Denis the owner quickly responded to all of our questions. Waze & Google Maps worked well, but when we arrived it was confusing as to which house was our rental! We all loved our stay & would highly recommend this property!

Loved the pool and lots of room!
Great house! I came with my husband, best friend, and a 1 year old baby. This house had plenty of room for us to spread out. Owner is very responsive and immediately addressed all our concerns. The kitchen was very well appointed. The pool and patio were great!! The master bedroom was a little noisy at night with the neighbors up late in the back catty corner but that is just city living and was not a big deal at all. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Great location in the city
Great place to stay if visiting San Jose. Located in a nice neighborhood, but also walking distance to a couple restaurants and groceries. Nicely equipped kitchen if you want to cook and we really enjoyed the private pool. Very clean and the bedrooms were very comfortable. My 5 other family members ranging from 10 to 85 also enjoyed their stays

Family vacation
Very nice gem found in San Jose! The closed parking for the car was very nice and made it feel very safe and the location was very safe as well. The owner was very nice, helped with recommendations even for future trips. My whole family highly recommends this house!

What A Hidden Gem in the middle of San Jose
I can’t say enough good things about this place. The amenities are great - the place is darling - the beds are comfortable and the outdoor patio at night with the lights on is perfect!!! the only problem is Uber could never find the location to take us back and forth but we kept Uber busy calling Carl to keep giving out directions! Great place I highly recommend

San Jose Heaven
We came to Costa Rica for a family vacation and stayed in San Jose for 3 total nights. This home was absolutely everything we needed! Our family had plenty of space and enjoyed the outdoor area the whole time. The pool was clean and we spent days and evenings enjoying it. We toured the country and returned to San Jose for one last night before our flight. Upon arrival it honestly felt like returning home. Thank you to Denis for all the wonderful hospitality! We also enjoyed dinner at Esta Aqui, highly recommend!

2023 San Jose with family and friends

Nice house everything near by to downtown driving
We enjoyed staying and will look forward for future. one sugesstion is to enabling portal AC will help - even though we didn't need at this time as the climate was good and we used the fan and open the doors natural air only evening we need to close the doors.

Everything was good. Clean and nice neighborhood We had couple of issues one of them was there was no air conditioning so it was so hot all the time. Big ants like Roach everywhere, inside the house. And we tried to use pool but there was no instructions how to make it hot. So these problems we have to face while stayed there by our self. Rather then that everything was good nice area. Security each block. We like it.

I’m a little speechless after reading your comment ! Regarding the temperature of the pool we keep the control because the cost of electricity is very high in Costa Rica, so we try to keep it at an ideal temperature between 88 - 92 °F It is a pool, not a Jacuzzi ! I’ve been in many hotels in San Jose like Marriott, Holiday Inn, Barcelo, Best Western, and I can tell you that our pool is one of the warmest in town. San Jose has slightly cold nights sometime, so we have to keep the pool heater very busy. I have over twenty years living in that neighborhood, and never, not once, I felt the need to have an air conditioner. And more, often we need a good blanket at night to keep us warm. A little fan might be needed sometime in a very sunny day and we do supply them in every single room. It is well mentioned in the description that the house has no air conditioner and we never had a single complain about it. We have a five stars rating. The beauty of this house is that it is full open over two beautiful gardens, one inside the house and one around the pool with plenty Orquideas. It is possible that, in this beautiful tropical country, if you leave the doors all open at nights, some insects, sometime, might come in attracted by the lights. I cherish this house more than anything, and believe me, if there would be a - roach like ant - invasion, I would react promptly and fix the problem immediately. Renting this house on VRBO makes me proud and my only goal is to keep it a five stars Villa . Thank you for your business, and have a great day Sir !

Short & Sweet!
This was my first time in Costa Rica. My husband has lots of family here, but had not visited in 27 years. This house was the perfect place to have some of them meet us for a small reunion! The house was beautiful, clean and easy to get to. Denis and Carlos were amazing hosts!

Perfect San Jose Property
This property was everything we could ask for. We booked it as a final stop after a few other destinations in Costa Rica to relax before our flight and we’re glad we did. The hosts were excellent and even let us check in a bit early after the long drive we made. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to everything. There’s restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations all within a few minutes. Downtown was a quick drive and the airport is less than 20 minutes away. The house was fully stocked with all the necessities and even had some extras. They left a pineapple for us that was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
