Short but oh so sweet
Arrived ahead of schedule but were met with grace. Check in and golf cart rental was smooth. The roads...were not, but hey, that was part of the fun. Apartment was clean and perfect for us. Enjoyed coffee on the front porch with the sunrise. We unfortunately had an emergency and had to leave early. Everyone was so helpful in getting us back home. Not only would I recommend staying here but we will surely return, for a much longer stay this time.

Quiet location steps from the gorgeous beach. Swing in the hammock with a beer in hand. Host friendly and helpful with location/directions.

Belize Stay
We were expected to find the place on our own at first which would never have happened. Someone finally led us out to the place. Our dead bolt key didn't work. The microwave didn't work. The golf cart we rented was not the best but it got us from point A to B. Overall not bad.

Thank you for taking time to write a review about your stay at our place. Sorry about the dead bolt we changed it this morning so our future guests can enjoy the safety of the room. Also we are sorry about the microwave not workin. It does work but for some reason you have to press cook time then enter the seconds/minutes you want then press start. I will be posting a note so our guests know what to do. About the golf cart rental I have informed the rental company. And finally thank you for liking our place.

Very Serene - Awesome Reef
We loved being right on the beach and found Gach to be an amazing host. We quickly felt like family. He recommended places to eat based on our tastes and things to do that were right for us. Our last night he had family and friends over and even included us for garnachos for the full moon. We'll remember that evening forever and can't wait to get back again. I HIGHLY recommend staying at Las Amapolas!

Truly a hidden gem right on the beach as described.
I only spent one night at the property because it was far from town, I was travelling alone and there were no restaurants nearby. If you are looking for a more remote, quiet retreat, and can do your own cooking, then this is the place for you. I wanted to be closer to town and access to several places to eat. Otherwise, the host was kind and understanding. When I left, he suggested other places for me to stay.

Amenities include Fishing and Snorkeling Guide onsite!
SUMMARY: Great location hidden off the main road with a tour guide right next door. ---------- BOOKING: All done with VRBO but then required going to town to get keys from property management company. This company will not show up correctly in google maps (search Laundromat instead of Property Management) and closes at 6pm. HOST: Gach was responsive and helped me a lot even after forgetting some items at the condo. He sent them to the airport for me next day. Unexpected amazing hospitality. ROOM: Cozy and all you need if you are spending most of the day on the beach. Beachfront view is nice. MISC: Thomas is in the house next door and is an amazing tour guide for fishing and snorkeling. Nice guy and cooked our catch too. Would recommend to anyone passing through a day or two for the tour guide experience or if you don't want to pay resort prices. It's 10 minutes away from the nearest store/restaurant as well too by golf cart and 20 minutes to town.

Beautiful view
Beautiful view and the communication was great with the property management. They arranged golf cart rental. Went out on a private snorkel trip arranged by Thomas who lives on the property and it was the highlight of the trip. If you are hesitating don’t it’s worth the potholed drive into town for the view and people.

Great trip!!
Great host. Very helpful. Already planning another trip back. Only major issue was the air conditioner. There was no glass in the windows causing the cool air to escape. It would have been nice to have the room cooled before we even got there.

Beautiful beach stay
The place was perfect beautiful beach area. It wasn't listed but the owner Gach offered a kayak to take to the reef. June is a hot time of year and the AC barely kept up as we like it low 70 while we sleep. Overall Gach place was amazing and very peaceful.

Great Birthday Weekend
First time to Belize and was not disappointed. It was as advertised. Beautiful water view off the balcony. Waking up to the birds chatting and an ocean breeze was so relaxing. From the time I booked the condo, Gach and his team were quick to respond to my questions. It is located a few miles from town, which added to the peace and quiet, but I highly recommend getting a golf cart to explore the area. We drove all over. There are many potholes in the road outside of town, but traffic was not bad and dodging them was part of the fun.

Perfect place
There are not enough words to explain this amazing place. Not only was the location and cleanliness of the property perfect but the attention to detail and the amazing family who own it make this the most ideal place. If your planning to snorkel I say wait until you speak with captain Robby he lives on the property. This family really made our stay more than we could have wished for. They were so incredibly welcoming but also let us make our way too. I am already planning out next trip there.

Excellent communication!
This was our 2nd time to the San Pedro. Nellie, the property mgr, and her crew were helpful and had excellent communications with us. Gach, the owner, was so helpful and kind. We had an issue while their, and Gach was so helpful. Also, when leaving the island you need a Covid test. Gach arranged it so the Nurses came to us and tested us on the front porch of our condo. The location is very North of everything—exactly what we were looking for! We had a dock for fishing off of. Our planned charters picked us up right out front—-such a HUGE time saver! Also, we did a lot of snorkeling in the area off the docks. It’s a beautiful location! We will be back!!!!

Peaceful stay and amazing staff!
The place was exactly as described online. Very clean and quiet. Everyone we met that worked on or around the property were absolutely amazing! Gach helped with anything we needed, and Captain Robbie gave us an unforgettable day with a private deep water fishing trip and snorkeling. Very highly recommend!!!!

Home away from home!
Our host Gach was exceptional at making this stay comfortable and very memorable! His communication and response to any questions was very helpful. The suite has everything you need. The property is directly on the beach with access to gorgeous underwater exploring 🐠 we would definitely recommend staying here. There is also an amazing Caption and excellent crew on this property for fishing, snorkeling and enjoying the local waters!! Thanks again

Best time EVER!
Cannot say enough about how perfect this spot was for us - we got everything we needed out of this casita (and trip at large) and more! Thank you Nellie and crew for making everything easy and as stress free as possible. The spot itself is enough away from the town center that you had privacy, but not so secluded/far away that you felt too removed/isolated. Friendliest host and locals. Beautiful views. Exceeded our expectations! Thank you!!!

Unbelievable experience!
Wow! What a magical vacation! The property is indeed much smaller than it appears; however, while in Belize, you don’t spend much time indoors! Gaspar and Nellie have created a haven for tourists. It is quiet, beautiful, and remote. Gaspar and Nellie went above and beyond to ensure our vacation went smoothly. From meeting us at our water taxi to arranging COVID testing and flights to the mainland, and everything in between, we couldn’t have been more well-taken care of. We would be delighted to stay here again!

Amazing Private Beach Studio
Everything about the property went smoothly from the moment I arrived. If you're looking to get away from the crowded streets of San Pedro, venture up the coast 20 min and stay at this beach casita. The photos accurately showcase the property and nothing beats staying right on the sand for a home away from home.

Great people!
Owners are extremely nice. The property was as advertised. The unit is much smaller than we expected. No closet or drawer space.There is a very small place to hang clothes. The only real negative is small red ants. We sprayed everyday but could not get rid of them.

Great spot
This property was lovely, and its proximity and view are AMAZING. It represents a great value if you want to stay here. Had some early wifi issues, but they did a great job to quickly address them. It's quite a ways north, but I loved that. It was a 15 minute cart ride over to Secret Beach, just do that because it's awesome! :) Our trip was too short, we're coming back again pretty soon. And we'll definitely stay here if it's available!
