I definitely was expecting something different from the pictures. It was nice, but it seemed spectacular.
The apartment was very clean. There is no room service.
The seats next to the pool are not that many, you have to be there early if you want to sit and have a place to relax.
Among the pictures of the hotel you can see some of a house next to the beach they have for the resort sales. To have access to this bar and pool you have to assist the time share sales speech, or pay $70 per person.
You have to go in the car to the beach, or walk for 20 minutes. It is one of Guanacaste's ugliest beaches.
There is a supermarket right next to the complex (very convenient). The kitchen is well equipped. There are nice little restaurants of local food very close to the place, as well as a Hard Rock Café. We didn't go to the time share speech nor paid to enter the club house, so I don't know about the food there. We just ate something on the main pool's bar... pricey... Good idea to have something in your apartment.
All the people we encountered were very nice. Just prepare for the last day for the inventory... Have everything ready, they will count the last little spoon in the apartment... This is the first time I see something like this. Maybe they've had many people stealing things from the apartment, I guess I get it... But it was very mortifying when a towel or a plate was misplaced... It felt as if was stealing, even though I wasn't.... very uncomfortable
