Southern Charm
Fantastic way to immerse yourself in Savanah history. Great location, 2 blocks from grocery store and southern mansions. Comfortable bed and fantastic pool and grilling area. Very responsive property manager.

Great Place.
Nice place. Description and pictures are accurate. It was well stocked with towels, linens, spices, paper products, and soaps. Was able to walk two blocks to Kroegers. Had assigned parking spot. Only "issue" was locating the place. Its not actually on the street provided. It is located in an alley behind the street. Had we been told it was accessed by an alley, it would have been stress free. Instead we drove back and forth, tried the wrong place and finally saw someone that knew where we needed to go. Other than that glitch it was perfect! Would definitely stay again and recommend toa friend!

Weekend Getaway for 2
Perfect little space with everything we needed close by. About 1.5 mile walk to River St and lots to do and see along the way. Truly a beautiful city. Check out Dos Box (0.1 miles) for amazing drinks and the best bar food we've ever had!!

Great Spring Stay
This was our first visit to Savannah. At first, we were not sure about the location, but had no problems. Having a parking space was great. We walked to everything, the condo was clean and very cute. Would definitely say here again.

Enjoyed our stay
The apartment was clean and comfortable... even a little quirky. But that was not necessarily a bad thing. Knowing it was an older building, we were not surprised that the floors sloped a bit. That made cooking a challenge. We soon discovered how close it was to the historic district that we often walked to museums and parks. Having a Kroger grocery store just a block and a half was great. A cozy coffee shop was also nearby. The one negative would be the height of the mattress on the bed. We were able to climb onto it, but we know that some of our shorter friends would not be able to do that if they stayed here. We would reserve the site here again if we decide to come back to Savannah.

Cute lil place, great price.
Loved the house. Off the beaten path. However , the house on the end is obviously a long term rental. When we arrived, we were amazed at how cute the house was. However, as we walked toward the rear of the home, we heard loud music coming through to the wall of the kitchen dining area. It didn’t last long, and we noticed that it stopped around 3 p.m. Figured he went t9 work at that time. “He, you ask? “. We figured it was a male by the sound of someone wearing heavy boots while walking down the hall. Not bad, overall. Except once he left, the dog would bark excessively, until he returned around 11. Couldn’t go to sleep at night until he returned. I understand that the building is very old, and it certainly is in an otherwise, quiet location. If you stay out late in the evening, you won’t notice the barking. Also, the Dollar Tree and Krogers are only a block away. Management was quick to answer any questions or concerns.

Thanksgiving Getaway
The place was as described! It could use a view updates but we would come back and stay there again. Bed sinks in the middle so might just need some reinforcement underneath. Very cozy and charming place.

Peace in the City
This was such a lovely spot to stay! Very clean, cute, and the perfect spot to relax away from the hustle of downtown Savannah. So close to everything you need and easy walking distance as well. Would definitely stay again!

Pictures don't tell the story...
The property is very old and you need to understand that certain areas of the home do not have a lot of room. If you are a solo traveler - area not really great, it is not on a main street. It is what they call a lane which means area between two main streets, so on one side it's back of houses and you are only one of total 3 attached cottages on the lane in the middle of the lane.(block) *Bed height is about 36" off the ground so if you are only 5'2 it is very difficult to get onto the mattress. * For some reason the volume on the TV does not get to a level that you can hear it. Not that you want to sit and watch TV all day but comes in handy when it is raining. *Bathroom does not have a lot of room, neither does the shower, this is coming from a 5'2 average size person. Needs some upkeep on exterior.

We do our best to represent the size of the condo in the photographs on the listing and we do indicate that it is a unit in a complex. Savannah’s historic homes are not known for their spaciousness, but we do our absolute best to maximize the living space. I have not heard any feedback on the TV volume, so I appreciate you bringing this to our attention, I will get it sorted out immediately. Just what I needed
Don't let the outside fool you! This is a charming, quirky location - worked very well for moving my daughter into SCAD housing. I was unable to use the pool this trip. Hope to get in there next time!

Great little house
We enjoyed our stay at Ampersand Inn. The inside was as described; clean, very comfortable bed and couch. There seemed to be only one other occupation in the surrounding condos, which was nice to have to pool to ourselves and there wasn't any outside noise. The front of the condo could use some updating-the railing was loose, paint was chipping, and could have been weeded. First impression of the house was that it was in a "bad area" but we had no issues and everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful. The host was quick to answer any questions we might have as well.

This is the 2nd time my family stayed here. Nothing fancy, plenty convenient. Pool was cooling, Kroger is 2 blocks away, plenty of walking to be had. Definitely a place to return to.

This condo is off the beaten path so you are not surronded by people constantly. It is still close enough to walk into the busy hussle bussle of historic Savannah. Excellent place to stay. They were very nice people, great communication and the listing is exactly as it says. We would and will definitely be back!

Comfortable stay.
First, this property is old, which is part of the attraction. However, do not expect anything to be level or square! Unit was very clean and was well stocked with kitchen utensils, there were plenty of nice towels and wash cloths of good quality, as well as plenty of pool towels. AC was excellent. The antique bed is very HIGH. It would have been nice for a step to help get in bed! Your GPS will not take you to this unit. It will get you very close. Directions could be better ie. The property manager was very nice and readily available to answer questions and provide directions via phone.

We had a lovely time at this apartment. There ws everything there that you could need to make your trip great. Had a bit of problem with the height of the bed ,but that could be because i have only little legs i had to throw myself onto the bed at night saying that it was a very comfy bed. We appreciated the fact that we were able to enter the apartment early as we got to Savannah really really early so thank you very much for that. If we ever come back to Savannah we would definitely stay there if possible.

Close to historic district. Entrance in narrow alley. Appliances newer, comfortable bed, roomy, nice pool, kitchen utensils adequate, wood floors nice, as was the furniture. As mentioned in prior review, there is no working smoke alarm. Older place that could use some cosmetic improvements. Kelsey was pleasant and easy to get in touch with.

Unique Spot
I loved the place lots of character. Great tv. Bed and pillows were perfect. I suggest a picture in the directions, a local lady helped us. Needs to have a smoker detector.

Cute place
Cute, clean place in good proximity to things in Savannah. Easy walk to Forsyth park as well as Mrs.Wilkes. Updated bedroom comforter and pillows and rug in the living room that isn’t shown in pics. It’s located on a side road that you can’t see driving in. Was a little concerned about this at first but it was fine, no one bothered us. Had a great time here in Savannah.

Exactly like the pictures and an amazing location!! We were pleasantly surprised by how walkable Savannah is. The host was very responsive and kind. I read all of the previous reviews and have to add that the shower head has definitely been updated since some of the reviews because the water pressure was actually great. There is a bit of a mildew smell but we were loving the house’s old charm so much that it didn’t bother us. I would definitely stay here again!!

Excellent option
Kelsey and her team were responsive and did a fantastic job making these cold New Yorkers feel warm and welcome. My only suggestion would be to change the shower head - water pressure could be stronger. The apt was very clean and the neighborhood is a short walk to coffee shops, grocery store, Forsyth Park and playground. Thanks to Kelsey, we had a great time in an amazing city. We'll be back soon to use the pool!

Great for a long weekend in Savannah!
Overall, the property was great; perfect for our family of three (two adults one child). Looked just like the pictures. The house is 100+ years old so it leans! The hallway is where it is most noticeable. Great location, about 15-20 min walk to river st. Lots of great places within walking distance. Great coffee and quick breakfast at Mate Factor just a few blocks away! Grocery store (Kroger) is one block away. The shower head in the bathroom needs to be updated, the water pressure leaves a lot to be desired but it gets hot quick! Access to the pool would be great in warmer months. Quiet neighborhood. Extra parking was easy to find. We would stay here again!

Location is great!
The location was great - easy walking to Forsyth park, groceries, and food. Parking was very easy. The place was clean and has all the amenities you need. Shower head could be replaced as it only trickles water out but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed this place
Very nice, cute place. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was great for the 2 of us and it had a comfortable bed after all our walking in Savannah. The only issue we had was finding the place, GPS wasn't very great at getting us there and it was difficult for us to find the alleyway for the entrance. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Savannah.

Our Stay in Savannah
We enjoyed our stay in the condo. It is an older small unit, as advertised, but has been updated and it had everything we wanted or needed to use. The location is great - just a few blocks from Forsyth Park and Savannah’s fare free shuttle buses. The bed is comfortable, if a bit soft but if you are “height challenged”, you will need to bring in a chair to get in! We would stay there again.

Perfect short getaway
Kelsey was very quick to respond. The condo was very nice size for 2 of us. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect, it’s a nice walk through Forsyth park to down town. A must see! It is a bit of a long walk to the river, but there is also a free bus that runs until 7pm. It’s located very close to the condo. Look for DOT bus stop. I would definitely recommend walking at least once through the parks, squares. You will miss all of these on a bus. Absolutely beautiful parks and a lot of history. We will definitely return again for the holidays.

Great pool, great location, but needing a bit of work .
Here’s the good things: -great pool (not heated, but clean and nice) - great location, close to Forsyth Park and Kroger with a Starbucks just a few short steps away. Good communication with the property manager. Things that could improve: -Very musty smell that clung to my clothes and suitcase, still notable when I got home. - The bed is really high, could be a problem for older folk. The bed is on the firm side and Sinks in the middle a bit. The big thing for me were the pillows. The pillows are old and stained, They pop out the ends of the pillow cases, because the bedding has lost its shape and needs new sheets. -The shower head needs replacing and doesn’t provide a good/strong spray. - although this is cosmetic, and didn’t bother me much, the place and decking need painting and some TLC.

Overall Amazing Experience - Definitely Recommend!
My experience was 5 star from start to finish! Communications with Kelsey were the best I've ever experienced with a rental property - very quick responses, efficient, so kind, and she truly went above and beyond for us. The rental was very clean and beautifully decorated, and we LOVED the pool. The condo had everything we needed, and was perfectly situated within walking distance to pretty much everything (groceries, food, coffee, etc.). We will absolutely stay here again the next time we're in the area!

Convenient and nice place to stay downtown Savannah
The rental was clean and perfect for us. It was bigger than we expected it to be. The TV had streaming services available. The pool was nice. Walking distance to Kroger and Dollar tree (actually probably walking distance to much of downtown Savannah but some of our group had walking limitations). Plenty of bedding and towels. Quiet and no issues. Great communication- If I had questions I got an answer immediately.

2 Night Stay
This place is super cute and was great for us. The owner's really have thought about everything that one would need to make a stay comfortable. I gave the place 4 stars for cleanliness because the air filter was extremely dusty and needs to be changed. Also, the place is old and really has a strong smell of mold which could be a problem for some people. I didn't love it but we didn't spend much time in the actual condo. The pool was a nice addition for us to relax while our daughter swam. The location was great for us, we ventured out during the day and took the dot bus. I'm not sure I'd feel safe by myself at night making that walk though.

Old historic district not old historic paint
Every bedroom needs a TV of its own. Interior paint old and cracking not a good look, uneven / level flooring gives impression of not good carpentry work, washing machine w/ rusty outer surfaces, overall 5 out of 10 / 1st impression I wanted to stay somewhere else, but my financial commitment forced me to give it a try. Thanks anyway, would I stay there again? Probably not
