The light by my bed was broken, when I mentioned it I was told to replace it with the reading light in another room, which meant my kids couldn’t read in bed.The lift broke constantly.The coffee maker was broken we couldn’t have coffee the first morning.The internet was down for a week which had a real impact on our work and it stressed us to now end.Some of the shutters were broken and replaced with a huge boulder perched on the ledge which is so dangerous especially considering the force of the wind. The loo in one of the bathroom didn’t flush properly we had to fill buckets to flush it. We were putting the toilet paper in the rubbish.Generally depressing aspects were: the smell of sewer in both bathrooms, there was a pack of cards in a melted plastic box.We were left 2 dish water capsules and 5 laundry capsules for 14 days. The photos make the house look much bigger thank it is.When the cleaner came she didn’t clean the exterior leaving sand and leaves all over the terraces.The exterior lights were on the entire time we stayed at the house and when I asked how to switch them off nobody knew where the switch was and was told to just leave them on.This was the most disappointing property we have rented and we have been renting for years. This is such an expensive house for what it offers. The only redeeming feature is the location. The proximity to the sea is amazing.
