Todo bien...pero lo más importante falló
Gran ubicación, servicio y limpieza. El personal con gran actitud del personal. Excelente desayuno. Hubo un problema fundamental que fue innaceptable. Nuestro cuarto estaba tan húmedo que las sábanas y almohadas estaban mojadas y fue muy difícil dormir. A reserva que trajeron un deshumidificador. Esto no pasó en otros hoteles durante el viaje con climas igual o más húmedos. La vista deprimente y se podía ver hacia adentro del cuarto por lo que tuvimos que mantener las cortinas cerradas. Value for money, negativo.
Excelente desayuno y servicio.
El cuarto decepcionó por su vista y humedad.

Lo mejor la ubicación.
Ubicación muy buena. Hotel con bastantes años, que no merece lo que cuesta. Habitación pequeña. Algunos enchufes no funcionan. Antes era un Sofitel. No volvería. Hay muchos hoteles en Singapur bastante mejores que este y a mejor precio.

Inexcusable for a hotel of this level to not have hot water for a shower in my room at 11:00am. No consideration upon checkout. I’d never go back.

It was lovely to be in an older stylish property even though it was surrounded my modern day sky scrappers. I thought it was lovely and close to the food market and street food so not far to go for good food.

Great 3 night stay. Only complaint was that there is not a business center / computer available for guest to use in the event they need it and that the bathroom mirror / make up mirror has insufficient light for doing make up.

stellar location but linites and dated hotel. I was in a cot room, it was relatively clean but stuffy, felt and smelled damp also

Worse ever experience in Singapore
It was too tiny little room with not enough space for luggage open and refrigerator, you cannot even store anything. Also had trouble getting into the room because of false alarm and no staffs said sorry for any inconvenience even though I have waited for quite time at the lobby. Once I got in the window was blocked by insulated fire shutters so I couldn’t look at the window. I will not recommend this to anyone else but if anyone who would like to feel the definition of weirdness welcome to experience. The duct system is not working well so you can smell the odor whole day.

Good overnight stay
Good place for 1-night stay. Loved how close it was to Lau Pa Sat hawker station. Very convenient via MRT. Easily walkable to many places. Check-in and check-out was good. Wish check-in was a bit earlier (flight arrived in the morning and we were only able to drop off our bags, wish we could’ve freshened up a bit before heading out into the town). Overall very clean and nice place. Loved the robes and slippers in the room.

2 stays 2 different experiences
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel during the same week. Took a 2 day trip in between to Kuala Lumpur. First time everything was simply amazing and couldn’t have asked for anything more. We went for our honeymoon and they even gave us a bottle of wine. This time though the room smelled like humidity and the mini fridge was leaking. There were water bubbles on the door and did not feel safe spending the night in the room. We asked to change and got another one but it still wasn’t as good as the first one we had. The staff was extremely nice except for one guy at the front desk who gave us attitude when we gave our luggage for the to hold for 2 days until we came back after we got the authorization from like 3 other people. If it wasn’t for this I would have 100% given it a 5/5 following my first stay.

The room is small but clean and organized. The property is next to Satay Corner where you can eat different kind of noodles, seafood, and other authentic food. It’s walkable to China town.

Benjamin at the front desk was so helpful by giving us pointers on the hop on hop off bus, marina Sands just a wealth of information. Anastasia deserves a mention as well as she was very helpful with the check in.

Parfaitement situé entre Marina Bay et Chinatown. Hotel qui à la base est absolument magnifique mais malheuresement mal entretenu dans le temps (poussière en hauteur, placards s'ouvrants difficilement, douche plafond obstrué par le calcaire...) Isolation accoustique horrible (on comprenait les conversations de nos voisins) mais également la rue. Forte humidité dans les couloirs mais acceptable dans la chambre. En bref hotel convenable mais ne méritant pas ses 5*

This is not 5* hotel
Star given only for good location and nice lady in reception Anastasia. Food ordered at pool bar was ok as well. Other than that, it wasn’t much of experience. Poor maintenance in overall. Hotel is basically shabby. I am not sure that investing in electric curtains and IPad as remote control was smartest priority for this establishment. - Pool: toilets in pool area haven’t been washed for a looooong time. Same goes for sun-beds. Drinks are more like improvisation. - Lobby: like freezer. - Hallways : cold, moist and smell mould - Room (Nr. 312): so moist that our pillows, sheets and clothes felt wet. Even iPhone chargers wouldn’t charge phone, warning that charger was in contact with water. After complaining we were given dehumidifier which we had to empty every 4-5 hours. Didn’t help much but we got extra noise from it that made it difficult to sleep. Closet way too small. Shabby bed. Plumbing in bathroom is not properly sealed so every time you have water running in a sink you can hear it splashing down the pipes. - THIS IS NOT 5* HOTEL. We moved out halfway our stay.

We regret to read your comments regarding the room humidity as this was due to the seasonal rain that had affected us. The AC and ventilation system at certain points unable to help cope and maintain the surrounding air. Our AC contractor is currently working to rectify the system so as to allow it to run smoothly and efficiently to maintain a balance air flow. We are doing our utmost to ensure our guests are comfortable with their stay.
