Home away from home
The property was clean, well stocked in the kitchen, towels were luxurious, directions to get there were spot on. The finishes were how I would finish my home. It did not feel like a rental property. It is very centrally located. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to anyone traveling in this area.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods
My husband and I spent a long weekend at the cabin and would highly recommend it to couples and families. Everything inside is brand new and high quality. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. The cabin is a quick 5 minute drive from town and easy to find. This is our new go-to place for stays in Soldotna!

No regrets!
We were visiting family in the area and wanted our own space. This was the perfect home away from home! The neighborhood was quiet, the house beautiful, instructions were easy to understand, and it was a short drive to town. I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

The host is very polite and prompt with communication. The place is just as described- very nice, quiet and peaceful. There are two xl twin beds upstairs and one king downstairs. As there were two of us girls, we didn’t share a room. My only suggestion is to have a king or queen upstairs as well. I had forgotten just how small a twin size bed is and didn’t really sleep both nights due to turning and nearly falling out of bed or having the covers slide off on the floor. This is not a fault by any means as the description clearly lists the bed sizes. It was just uncomfortable for me. If you’re a couple with kids, this is a perfect set up. The heated floor is an extra bonus and the tv located upstairs in an open family room was welcome. It was great to be encouraged to unplug from the world for a bit. Might also have been better if we had done our homework in the area. Just about everything was either just closed the week prior or didn’t open for two weeks after our stay. Just fyi- Seward aquarium isn’t open Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Our glacier trip got moved to Monday due to weather but we were then unable to attend the sea life center due to it being closed the two nights we had planned. Again, not anything on the property owners, but something to consider when planning out a week in Alaska. The place is lovely, fully equipped kitchen, and very clean. It also has a washer and dryer. I think the ad just says a dryer. It also has supplies. Very nice place to stay.

Luxurious and Practical
This beautifully and thoughtfully designed home is even nicer than the photos portray. Being able to login to our streaming apps was excellent. The home is very accommodating from the very comfortable king bed to the temperature control and kitchen, we felt as if we were in our own home from the moment we arrived. 5 stars for this property. We can't wait to return!

Hidden treasure
From the moment of booking everything was easy. Location of home is in quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. Daughter loved having her own room and bathroom. This place is great to use as a base to get around the peninsula.would definitely recommend staying here 😍

Quick Visit
We loved the home and relaxing on the deck both evenings. Spent one day in Homer and highly recommend the Norman Lowell gallery, driving Skyline drive and the smokehouse down Tote Rd Brittany was a lifesaver when I called to look for my missplaced wallet. We would love to return.

Great Base for Our Fishing Adventures
This house is great! We review all our VRBO stays based on the purpose we rented the property for. We came to Soldatna for 4 days as a scouting trip ahead of a larger vacation. We gave the property 5 stars because (1.) Up to this point, its is the cleanest VRBO we have stayed in. Felt like a brand new house. (2.) It is a quick drive to the shops, grocery stores, restaurants and amenities in Soldatna. (3.) We needed a base to explore Soldatna and enjoy three days of trout, Sockeye and King Salmon fishing. Our longest drive to the guided days was 35 minutes and the shortest, 10 minutes. (4.) The bedroom are nearly pitch black. Midnight sun was not an issue when we needed to sleep. (5.) Great hosts.

Fabulous location near the Sterling Hiway only a few minutes from town. New home with great amenities and very comfortable for my family. We were only there for 1 night, but would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Stay
This beautiful property has everything you need and nothing that you don’t. New, clean, comfortable and great location. Never heard our downstairs neighbors. Next door neighbors dog Shiloh was a regular visitor, big sweet dog. Highly recommend this property.

We travel A LOT and I think this was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Everything you could imagine needing was there already. We have a Wyndham Timeshare and those kitchens are supposed to be “fully stocked” but never are sometimes not even the basics are all there. We travel to other places besides our timeshare also and your house tops anything we’ve ever experienced. Beautiful house beautiful furniture, cozy and warm. I could live in the house year round. We will definitely be back.

We loved almost everything about this property. But the one thing that we didn't, nearly had us staying in a motel. The water smells terrible, highly sulfuric? So much so that we both wretched a bit when we first turned on the shower. Never did try the drinking water out of the fridge, for the same reason. This place was beautiful though, wonderful amenities, one big tv upstairs that's not signed in to anything. The heat worked well, but it was set to 50 when we came in, and 3 hours later it was still chilly in there (common with in floor heating). But cute place nonetheless.

The home was amazing. More than just clean - it was CLEAN. The location was perfect for us as we were working in Soldotna. We took a walk to Lake Hope. (Tip - the days are shorter in November) The washer and dryer were a huge plus for us since we are traveling for longer time periods. The full kitchen was great for evening meals after a long day of work. Two baths and two separate bedrooms worked perfect. I can’t say enough good and positive about this stay. As a seasoned traveler, I hate to share this secretly wonderful place - but please do not hesitate to book this place. It was a lovely neighborhood and we’d stay here again. Actually thinking of a winter family vacation. Probably the best VRBO we’ve stayed at.

Cabin in the woods
Great sleeping arrangements for my husband, me, and our 2 kids. The sitting area just off the kitchen was great for some unplugged family time. Kitchen had all of the utensils you could need for a dinner, plus plenty of condiments so that you don’t have to spend your grocery money on it. Lots of great memories were made and we can’t wait to go back!

Very nice home and property!
There were four of us (two couples) that stayed. It is great for one to two couples. Looked to be newly built. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Not a lot of living area, but again it was cozy and fine for four people.

Beautiful home - what a place!!!
We stayed here one night on our way down to Homer from Girdwood. After of a day of hiking in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge we came to the house tired and wow- what a treat this house it. It looks brand new with all the amenities one would need. The attention to detail was amazing. I would love to hire the person that decorated this house because it was perfect. Some of the wood craftsmanship was incredible. I wish we could have stayed another night! The deck looked great to hang out on but we didn’t use it because of the rain. Treat yourself to this place - it is worth it!!

Best Stay ever
We rented for my husband, myself and his college buddy. The house was just right for the 3 of us. We fished for silver salmon and the house was 10 minutes away from where we met our guide. The house was clean and brand new. It was well stocked with every item we needed. Hope to stay there again

Wonderful clean house
It’s a fabulous layout. Basement unit is rented separately but available to rent entire house. Very new high end appliances Comfortable bedding. Neighbors behind house have chickens and dogs. Fun to watch. Neighboring property is not connected to house. You will have complete privacy. 5 star property. Would love to stay longer and will definitely book again.

The home is beautiful. It is in a pretty setting. This house is in a very safe and secure area. There is a neighbor's house that sits in the back view thru a few trees. We will stay here again next summer, its worth it, its beautiful, peaceful and quiet. You will not be diappointed!
