Buen lugar cerca de todo
Muy bien todo la gente del lugar muy atenta, solo podrian mejorar un poco la limpieza mate una cucaracha, y estuvo en el mismo lugar los 3 dias que estuvimos, a pesar de que limpiaron la habitacion

Do not make any reservations thought Orbitz for this hotel because you will not be able to make a cancellation Even if you go to the hotel on person, the staff will tell you that they do it use Orbitz as a booking service and will not cancel or refund your reservation.

The staff and owner were absolutely amazing in every way. They were bartenders, chefs, translators and security all in one. I really appreciated them for everything. Anything i needed, they had me covered immediately. The rooftop bar wasn't open, but who needs a rooftop while in Sosua? The location is great, right next to everything you need....it was overall amazing!!!! Special shout out to my new Domincan brother Andy....he really looked out for me....

Every day, something was missing. Day 1 no toilet paper, day 2 no towels, day 3 NO SHEETS, day 4 safe broken. It seemed like the staff ran the hotel and could not care about the guests, they seemed to busy on thier phones and watching music videos,

Hotel was nice enough. The staff was attentive and friendly. The location was perfect, close to everything worth seeing. It was noisy at times, but I didn't go here to sleep all day. There was an issue getting in contact with the hotel prior to my stay. Also, they no longer have breakfast here.

I never understood why people would take the time to do reviews, but now I understand. I MUST say something. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The hotel is extremely dirty. There is no airport shuttle, as advertised. The rooftop lounge doesn't open. I didn't get a bath cloth. My room was never cleaned by housekeeping and I stayed for 4 days. I asked for another towel for a friend and the employee refused to give me one. They try to charge you for breakfast, although it's advertised to be complimentary. The staff got a hold of my cell phone and refused to give it back to me unless I paid $100 because I used towels to wipe up a mess that my friend made..... they refused to wash the towels and said that I would have to replace them. I ended up sitting in front of the staff and hand washed the towels myself; they then said that they didn't know where my phone was. The telephone number to the hotel is impossible to find. I eventually got into contact with the owner who was in the States during my visit. He actually had some sense but it was tough to get help from him because he wasn't present to witness what was happening. Everything in the room and hotel is filthy. I don't know what many of the other hotels look like but this is not the place to stay. I suggest Casa Valeria! That hotel is very clean, renovated, and the staff is excellent. 1000 times better. Trust me, DO NOT stay at Urban Cabana. I'm thankful that I left without putting my hands on anyone.

Single male Nice Stay
Good staff. Close to the action. AC was monimal and I had tonswitch roooms. Hotel manager accommodated me with an extra fan. Bery good group and friendly. I'd stay again.

No more breakfast in the morning? That makesa big difference when looking for a hotel. I have to factor that in with my costs. That's disappointing. Not a bad hotel. Not the best. It's a no frills hotel. You know what you're getting.

I really enjoyed my stay at Urban Cabana. The staff was friendly. I was in a very convenient location, and the owner of the establishment even checked on customers, it was a nice experience.

Better than expected
Close to everything; bars, clubs, restaurants, beach, banks and just about anything you'll need. Clean, comfortable with helpful, polite and friendly staff. Friendly tip though; download "Google Translate" on your phone unless you speak fluent Spanish as very few people speak English. To summarise; initially I thought I wasn't going to enjoy myself but in the end didn't want to go home, the hotel was perfect.

Was Leary at first but staff very helpful. Air condition and hot water worked. Staff answered questions and very attentive. Would stay again. Can't beat location or staff. Next to several other hotels and close to restaurants

GREAT STAY
I had a wonderful stay, I had a late arrival and check-in so later that morning I asked for a room change to a room closer to the road and a little noisier but that was ok with me because that's what I wanted. My room was cleaned every day and linen changed if I wanted, breakfast included and restaurant an bar prices were very reasonable .......Michael and his staffs are GREAT...........Can't ask for more......

Very nice staff and close to everything
This hotel exceeded my expectations. Everyone was very nice and the breakfast was great! The location is extremely close to the action, about 1 block away. If you are a person that likes peace and quiet every night, this is not for you. If you like to party and can deal with the a little noise (not too loud and only until around 3am - from then to 2pm it's pretty quiet) then you will be fine. The room was a decent size and I recommend the window view to the street, there you can see what is going on outside. I will stay again. Also note, I wouldn't consider this a kid friendly place as there are a lot of provocatively dressed woman looking for single guys.

I had an enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, the television in my room did not work. I told the staff several times and was promised to have it fixed, but day after day passed and it was never fixed. After the fourth day reminding them, I stopped mentioning the issue.

Amazing and cozy hotel
Ive stayed in a few places in Sosua, and this one was by far my favorite one! Im glad i didnt pay attention to the bad reviews and went to see for myself because i discovered a beautifull cozy place with an amazing staff. The hotel is right in the heart of Sosua so very close to everything walking distance. The rooms were clean, check in super fast, good breakfast, good ambiance and amazingly good service! Just couldnt find anything bad to this place. I will definitly go back and would recommand it to experience the real Dominican lifesfyle!!! Thanks Urban Cabana for an unforgettable vacation <3

Where do I begin? this place is what it is. You want to be in the center of sosua nightlife this is definitely the spot plan for it to be noisy. And I couldn't emphasize and noisy enough. Bar right across the street construction going on next door and nightlife in general unfortunately I will not be staying there again this is my third visit and last. it's just out of principle . they mistake kindness for weakness and try to get you for every dollar they can. is the reason why I will not be going back there again. I was over tipping and they saw opportunity. One girl in general is the culprit I asked to have 4 t shirts washed and 1 pair of underwear and charge me $6 which I know is nothing. for the amount of tipping I was doing I should have gotten it for free they could have done it with their mixed matched two towels or charge me a little as a dollar or two. Just for being a regular and that's probably even more than a local will pay . I was pretty loyal to that place even though I know it's not up to par. There's a place right up the street that's cleaner bigger quieter pool Restaurant and Bar and projection screen TV for $10 less a day that's where I'll be going next. And there's a taxi stand right across the street where you can make your way back to the airport for $2 not 20 to 25. Trust me I didn't believe in myself but I went back to the airport for 2 bucks little negotiation.

Boutique hotel in the Dominican Republic.
Once again my stay at the Urban Cabana Hotel was extremely pleasurable for a number of reasons. The hotel's boutique decor provides an aesthetic pleasure. The hotel staff is accommodating and stopped at nothing to make sure your ever need is met. The central location gives you easy access to the area's night life. And as to be perfectly honest, not enough can be said about the hotel's dependable hot water which is not always a constant in the Caribbean. Last but not least, the dollar value is the best in the area. You can't get more bang for your buck at any-other hotel.

Great Stay
I booked this hotel for my brothers, we had 4 out of 6 rooms, it was a really great experience. This is located on the strip of Sosua if you want to relax or night life, this is the place to stay with everything that you will need nearby. The staff are really good and attentive.

Party Spot
Great location for guys that are looking to enjoy the nightlife. Not for families or ladies. The beach was located relatively close. It was approximately a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The bars are right around the corner. Staff was awesome and took great care of us. The hotel rooms are definitely not upscale but are very comfortable and in a great location.

not a place to stay
this hotel does not have parking even if the website says it does,its street parking.me and my wife had a reservation for 3 days and ended up leaving the next day to another hotel due to not feeling that our belonging be safe.it seems that prostitution is practice at this hotel due to girls that are on the streets are hanging in the hotel and standing inside like they are for sale.wouldnt recommend this hotel if going with wife or family.

RIGHT IN THE HEART OF THE ACTION
this is a great little hotel. it located in the middle of the action. So you will hear the nightlife, but you don't go to Sousa to sleep. A lot place to eat, and there a little market three doors down. The staff is great, will stay there again

I was told it isn't good!!!
friend of mine told me not to stay in this hotel. but I had to. it wasn't bad at all. there can be improvement but its not a 5 stars hotel. its in good location. and I could sleep well in it unlike the other hotels there, when people come back from the club wake everyone in the hotel, that doesn't happen here.

Beautiful hotel with lovely restaurant and bar.
I had a lovely stay at the urban cabana.The staff and ambiance was perfect no complaints at all.But one small request i wish they had was a compact fridge.also the noise from the strip didn't bother me at all .I'm from N.Y..
