Girls’ Trip Weekend Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at this condo! It was perfect for a weekend girls getaway. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to the casinos, making it convenient for both relaxation and entertainment. The added excitement of seeing a bear when we first arrived, added to the Tahoe charm The condo itself was comfortable and offered some fun extras, like shuffleboard and a classic video game unit, which made our time indoors just as enjoyable. The only suggestion I would make is to add a few more glasses to the kitchen and upgrade the blender, but overall, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Annual Tahoe Vacation

Overall, this rental extremely convenient and met the needs of our entire family. The kids especially loved the bunk beds. My father especially loved the short walking distance to the casinos. My sister and niece especially loved the nearby shopping. It was the perfect place to celebrate my uncle and nieces birthdays and end of summer vacation.

My vacation

The condo/townhome was very nice. Clean, had everything you would possibly need for a vacation home. Was aesthetically very nice. And it’s a great location if you want to be close to everything. Unfortunately, we did not have a gate code to get inside of the complex had to wait 40 minutes for that then when we got to the front door, we didn’t succeed with the code that was given to us. After calling the one 800 number they said I was gonna have to go with a generic code that they sent me which was fine, but we were standing outside for another 20 minutes. Honestly found no issues with the townhome itself. I don’t have anything bad to say about this day. We were very comfortable and felt safe in our surroundings, etc. Whomever is overseen this property as far as management needs to step it up . There is a note inside on the wall laminated with all of the rules that says we cannot use the hot tub past 10 PM. There was no hot tub. Second of all the mishap with the gate in the door was a little offputting and they weren’t very kind about it , customer service almost seemed a little irritated. But for me, the last straw on the customer service side was I had been trying to reach out since Thursday to ask for a simple late check out. Considering you get there Friday, you cannot check in till 4 PM then you have to check out by 10 AM on Sunday seems a little ridiculous considering the amount of money you’re spending I feel it should be noon to noon. Anyhow, not happy w/ Management.

A good visit

This is a very good property and we highly recommend it. We had a few minor issues with the property management company that were mostly addressed, but otherwise the property is as described and the location is outstanding. We will likely stay there or in another property within that development again in the future.

Great Stay

Stayed for a ski trip with friends and our teenage boys. The location is great, a very quick walk to Heavenly village. The unit was clean, kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware (more so than many other rentals we’ve stayed in). The arcade and shuffleboard are a nice extra that our group had fun playing. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location for access to Heavenly and Lake.

This is a nice cozy place to stay. We are 4 adults. It will sleep up to 10, however the living area is small, so it will be crowded with 10 people. It was very clean. A few issues that we had were that it was hard to heat the downstairs where the master bedroom and the bunkbed bedroom are located. They had space heaters, but it was still quite cold. The master bedroom’s king bed needs to be replaced. Every time my spouse rolled over or got out of bed, the bed squeaked and woke me up. Extra blankets or a heavier comforter would have been nice too. Body wash in shower was empty in both master bathroom and hall bathroom downstairs. The TV in master bedroom had no Wi-Fi signal. Suitcase racks would be nice in bedrooms. There were only 5 coffee cups and wine glasses. Might be a problem for a bigger group. Hopefully manager/owner will read this review and fix these issues. We did not see a way to contact the owner through VRBO about these issues so we decided to write it in review instead.

weekend at Tahoe

We had a group of friends stay for a weekend celebration. As we were all senior citizens, we did not miss having a hot tub or pool. The location was great, we could walk to Whole Foods for incidentals and some restaurants were close by. We did not gamble, but the casinos are also close. It did seem as if the warnings about noise were a little strident, but it was very quiet. We searched for two days for the garbage disposal switch before we finally found it by looking up under the sink. All the beds were comfortable.

Fantastic spot near south lake

We had an amazing time here. The property is nice although you have neighbors above you and beside you. It is a short walk to the beach and a medium walk to the state line. The unit itself is large and clean. The AC was not very cool but we were not there on a very hot weekend luckily.

The Weekend Full of Surprises

All in all, our time spent was fun. However, there were many surprises that occurred. The central heating system was down so the property manager provided electric heaters. This was fine, except we had to keep them on the lowest setting in order to not blow a breaker. Even then, the breaker blew many times during our stay. The other surprise was the 2 feet of snow that fell while we were there. it definitely changed our plans, but we made the best out of it. The property was nice, my only complaint would be I wish the customer service was a little more understanding and accommodating.

Great Location but poorely stocked with necessities

We stay in a rental 2 times a year. I have come to expect that there be more than I need for the advertised attactions. For example, the beach. I would expect if you are going to advertise it then you will provide beach towels. Beach chairs. They had nothing. When I called to ask, after they had sent me a text asking for a 5 star review or to call, they were unpleasant and said no they would not provide them. We could not use our bath towels as they gave us 1 per person. We had to by shower soap and shampoo. We had to buy the basic condiments. The location was great and the house it's self was nice. It was very noisy with the upstairs neighbors. Even in bottom floor. We heard doors constantly open and close and charis moving all day. We did appreciate the security gate and parking. The last straw was that my daughter left her back pack with important items for school. We called and they located it. Told me I had to wait till the next rental, I had to follow up 3 times and was charged a service fee plus a shipping fee. We left a pair of flip flops at our last beach house in Del Mar and they shipped them back free!!!! Without me even asking. In addition, we had a welcome basket with snacks, local beer, and a gift with Del Mar on it, we had coolers, beach towels, roller blades, boogie boards, you name it. Oh and LOTS OF TOWELS!! Same at Pajara Dunes.

Close to Amenities - South Lake Tahoe

Close to amenities in South Lake Tahoe, easy walk! Home was clean, simple to manage, lovely furnishings. The added bonus of having old school arcade games and shuffleboard was such a fun treat!

Continuos Noise from the condo above.

The condo itself is very nice and as expected. It overall was clean, however, the floors do not appear to get cleaned as the bottom of our feet turn black if we walked on the floor w/o shoes. The major problem with this condo, is that it is a first and second floor condo with another condo above. We stayed 8 days and had to listen to continual foot stopping, running, things being dropped (sounded like bowling balls), chairs dragging, and on and on. This was continual during the day all the way into the night. We slept in the master which on the first floor, but the noise above was incredibly loud even though we had our main floor above us with the other apartment above that. We were awakened numerous times, and two different times during the week at 4:30 am in the morning. I complained several times to Tahoe Grand Vacations, and while courteous nothing changed in the behavior of the families staying above us. I believe that since these are 3 bedroom condos, renters pack as many people as they can into one unit(we counted about 12 above us). If they allow that number of people, they should have built the condos with more substantial sound barrier between the top and bottom units. So, this is not the place, if you want a quiet, to stay. The other odd thing about this complex is the all the units face towards the center where they have positioned two banks of dumpsters. So, you sit on your balcony overlooking two fenced dumpster stations.
