Edwige , the hotel manager, very sweet, helpful, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was very lovely. Also her recommendations were spot on. Definitely will be back to this lovely island and hotel

We loved our stay. The property was so much fun!! The pool area was so nice for breakfast and the beach was so close with fun places to visit . Our room was comfy and had a great view. Two man hot tub was a bonus. The manager was outstanding and made the stay so easy and warm. She even found so delicious food for weary travelers. We will be back!!!

0/10 DO NOT RECCOMEND . STAY AWAY. so I’m sure you guys are wondering why I haven’t even given this place 1 STAR . Well it’s simply because I have NOTHING nice to say . The best part of this trip happened before I met this lady (I believe her name is Hyacinthe) . As soon as we got off the ferry from Saint Maarten and she noticed we weren’t her kind, her whole demeanor changed . I walked up to her very excited when she was holding the sign of the villa we booked and she immediately lowered her head and began to text. No hello, no welcome, no smile. From there, the whole energy was off. We got into the car and it was an awkwardly silent 25 minute car ride . When we got to the reception, she made a call asking how much she should charge for the extra person, literally making up a random price. She said $100 a night and I asked her what does that include & She said it’s for an extra towel and extra bottle of water. So After we respectfully declined paying $400 more for an extra bottle of water and another towel, she became very loud and obnoxious and said AND I QUOTE “I don’t like you Americans, Why did you come here if you don’t want to be cheap, this is Saint Barths. Go to Saint Maarten if you want to be cheap.” At this point, we didn’t even know what to say, we couldn’t believe we were actually experiencing racism within 10 minutes of being in another country . Shortly after, I informed her if she’s not okay with 3 people in a room then we are willing to accept a refund so

Dear Daphney you have every right to express your dissatisfaction. It is your point of view. Now I'll write you my feelings. The reservation was made for 2 people so when you arrived I was more than surprised! wondering how I was going to take care of you with 3 suitcases! that's why I sent a text message to find a solution. During the whole trip I was thinking about the best solution to welcome you in a suite for 2 and not for 3. I remind you that you arrived with the last ferry and that I didn't have anyone to help me set up an extra bed. In all establishments the extra person is charged, my call was not about the price but to organize myself for the reception of 3 people. I remind you that the next day you had all the comfort for 3 people without any extra charge! I'm sorry that your stay was not up to your expectations, but next time please let us know. That being said, we exchanged several days before your arrival in order to prepare for your arrival and at no time did you mention a 3rd person and the fact that it was your birthday. At no time did I make any racist remarks, I only alluded to the fact that in St BARTH the prices are not the same as in St Martin. You certainly misunderstood my English. as far as refunds are concerned, the reservation policies are clear. Our establishment was not at fault you booked for 2 NOT for 3.

Absolutely loved our stay!
Our stay at Hotel Villa Lodge was just wonderful. Hyacinth was so kind and helpful throughout our stay, getting us reservations at recommended lunch and dinner spots, and even driving us to the airport once we checked out. The location is perfect, beautiful view, and each room was big, comfortable, lovely decorations, and had a hot tub on the balcony. The pool was great, and a sushi restaurant is part of the property. We would stay here over and over again. Thank you for an amazing vacation!

I absolutely loved this property!. The location , the insite parking facilities, the views , and the support provided by the property's manager was fantastic. This property is a hidden gem in St Barth and I highly recommend it.

Lovely stay at a local hotel-lodge!
Hyacinthe was an amazing host! Our room had its own private pool overlooking Cul de Sac! The view was stunning! Hyacinthe was so gracious to bring breakfast to our room each morning and when we needed help with covid testing, she gave us exact directions and also printed our results for us. She is amazing! Small family owned property! Love supporting local small businesses.

Amazing property!! We had such a great time that we did not want to leave!!! The rooms are just increíbles, they are large...decorated with a great taste and the view is out this world!! L hôtel situé grand cul de sac ,bénéficie d une vue juste incroyable. Nous y avons séjourné en couple et y avons passé un excellent séjour. L hotel est calme, le petit dej très copieux et varié et la propriétaire Hyacinthe est juste très gentille,agréable et nous a up gradé la chambre sans même le lui avoir demandé !... Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir... Merci Hyacinthe de nous avoir permis de passer un excellent séjour dans votre hotel. The property is awesome - cute pool and excellent view. Our room was spacious and had a hot tub on the balcony which was super cool! The staff is friendly and attentive. Would recommend!! The only thing to keep in mind is that the Grand Cul de Sac is a bit far from Gustavia/shops/restaurants.

Chic & Welcoming Hidden Gem
Invited to St. Barth’s for good friends’ wedding festivities, I had no idea where to stay as a first time visitor of the island. Hotel Villa Lodge 4 épices was on my radar from Day 1 and happened to be near the weekend friend festivities so I booked as soon as flight arranged, since there are only five rooms. My friend and I loved it immediately: the decor, the view!!, big room(s), and Hyacinthe - owner/hostess extraordinaire. Hyacinthe arranged for rental car to be delivered to hotel since all close by 6pm (after ferry arrival); she also picked us up from ferry and was always on site to give recommendations, a lil history of the island or for a casual chat at breakfast. In fact, everyone we met on site was genuinely friendly from housekeepers to amazing Jessica at the delicious Yo Sushi Mania restaurant by the pool. On a whim, I picked the best, chill, friendly, beautiful place on the island and can only imagine those five rooms becoming more difficult to secure! Definite return destination!

Beautiful hotel. Great views Of Grand Cul-de-Sac and pool. My one bedroom suite was complete with kitchen and terrace. The owner Hyacinthe was lovely. The complimentary breakfast was great. There’s a top notch sushi restaurant that rivals any place in NYC. That good. Can’t wait to go back.

Séjour du 16 au 26 mai 2019. cet hôtel est parfait avec une vue magnifique sur le lagon de grand c.l de sac depuis toutes les suites mais aussi depuis la piscine et la salle de restaurant. Propreté exemplaire, très bon agencement des chambres.Des petits déjeuners copieux et raffinés vous mettent en forme pour la journée. La Maîtresse de maison Hyacinthe est pleine d'attentions pour ses clients, elle vous conseille, vous accompagne, vous renseigne toujours avec gentillesse et disponibilité. L'établissement et bien situé sur l'île, a proximité de Lorient et de la tombe de Johnny pour les Fans comme nous, a 800 m de "villa Jade" où nous pouvons aller à pieds. Pour la loc de voiture, l'agence "Sixt" en bon rapport avec Hyacînte vous l'amène et la reprend à l'hôtel. Ensuite vous pourrez sillonner l'île et ses plages magnifiques. Nous recommandons villa lodge qui a beaucoup contribué à la réussite de notre séjour.
