Everything we could have hoped for!
We had a wonderful week at the Starstruck Villa! The view from the front of the house (overlooking the water between St. John and St. Thomas ) is truly spectacular. The outdoor living spaces (balconies and hot tub on the front of the house and pool in the back) were where we spent the majority of our time. The bedrooms are comfortable (air-conditioned) with ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen is well-stocked, including with some basic spices), and there is ample seating in all areas of the property. You will want to take advantage of being guided to the house on your first day; the roads on St. John are very steep in places, and the entry to the driveway of Starstruck is steep and easy to miss, if you don't know where you are going. This is a great house for adults and older children/teens; each bedroom opens onto the lower or upper balcony, so parents of young children might not feel comfortable. We would happily return to Starstruck at some point in the future!

Retirement Trip
We loved everything about this villa! We spent all our time when we were there on the outdoor deck. The views were amazing! The iguanas in the trees were fun to watch as well. My husband and I brought our 3 grown kids and it was wonderful for everyone to have their own space. We loved the charm of the place and hated to leave. The lights in the living room run on a remote and it was with the tv remote so hard to locate. We enjoyed Trunk Bay and the snorkeling at Maho Bay. Turtles! The Reef Bay hiking trail was a little tough but worth it! We also took a tour to the Baths on Virgin Gorda which was the highlight of our trip. We are missing our sunrises and sunsets from the deck! Hope to return again some day.

Old, Dated and for sale
All items are old, worn and barely usable. No comfort. Rooms are spacious - all curtains in all rooms fell and hanging. No TLC has ever been given to this place.

A Great Stay for a Group
From the get-go, the property manager was super helpful in meeting us at the Jeep rental facility and leading us to the house. He provided us with all the information we needed. Rooms: AC is wonderful in the rooms. There really is no room with a bad view. Pool: We were in the pool every day. Loved it! Kitchen: If you need it, they probably have it. We had groceries delivered ahead of time from Starfish market. They were put away and everything. It was a nice touch. One or two burners gave us a hard time. They delivered us a new propane tank for the grill which was nice. The icemaker in the freezer will get you about 3 cubes per hour. Buy a few bags. Hot tub: the hot tub would have been such an awesome hang out spot at night with so many stars in the sky. Unfortunately, the chemicals were so strong, we couldn't sit in it very long/at all. We didn't mention this because there were so many other features of the house we enjoyed. Bugs: definitely bring spray and citronella candles/incense. The skeeters will definitely get you if you don't have these things. Views: I mean... I don't see how it gets any better. Each morning we had coffee and looked at the iguanas living up in the trees. The views are breathtaking. The sunsets are unreal. We had a private chef come to make dinner one night and it was absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone/everyone.

Starstruck
Overall the house was good for families but the checkin process was not easy. We spent several hours looking for the place. Also, the property is showing its age and we had to duck tape a screen to the door so the child would stop getting bitten by bugs. A few upgrades to the place would be welcome along with the steepness of the entrance to the location. We noticed the menu's and information book was outdated by a few year so we added maps and any menu's of restaurants we frequented so the information was more accurate. A note about the water for the showers being cold would also be a nice touch fot those people expecting a hot shower...they will not find it at the location easily. A note about the bugs would also help people staying at the location to be prepared for the multitude of biting bugs. We also found that a few outlets did not work, the wi-fi was spotty and we had to change our own lightbulbs on both decks so we could see going to our rooms at night. The house was well appointed in the kitchen for families looking to make meals at home and the outdoor..COLD shower was welcome to rinse off after a day at the beach. FYI the chairs around the pool have seen their better day and over half of them had ripped canvas from the sun that was not useable for fear of injury. The furniture, although well appointed was ripped in the living room and most bedrooms and will either need replacement or maintenance. The beach towels in each room was a welcome touch! Amazing
Perfect location, gorgeous home that is clean and well maintained. My children enjoyed the nice sized pool. The home had so many extras. It’s our favorite place to stay while in St. John.

We’re sad to leave Starstruck!
Communication was great. Advice on jeep rental and grocery store we’re spot on. House was as advertised. Kids loved having their own private suite. Location is close enough to everything you need. We will definitely be back and we recommend Starstruck for families.

Wonderful Vacation
This was a magnificent house. We all loved the porches and the water views! The pool was refreshing. The amenities and supplies were organized. There were many activities on St. John related to water and gorgeous beaches.

Amazing view and home that has it all!
The design of this home worked well for our family providing everyone with their own bathroom and wonderful view. The home created an environment with both private spaces and beautiful well appointed shared spaces. The home has everything you need/want including well stocked kitchen, blue tooth speakers, flashlights and many other nice touches. Eric from the property management company was our hero! They are very responsive.
