When I booked this room, I booked through Expedia. It was reserved as a pay in full at the hotel. However, the hotel charged my card the day before. I called them and it was explained that the manager gave approval to charge the first night in full a day ahead. I explained I booked through Expedianit their site. She said well my manager approved it and it is on our website. I explained yet again I didn't book through them. She said wel that is our policy. Next as we were arriving at the hotel I attempted to call to see if we could get checked in ahead of arrival. I was placed on hold for 10 mins and hung up. We were right down the street. At check in we were not given information about wifi, breakfast or the hours of the pool. Our stay was for 2 nights, housekeeping never came to the room to make the bed, freshen towls or empty the trash. We called the front desk foe fresh towels and was told we had to go down to get them. The towels were old, worn out and had holds and very small. Also once we checked in they hit my card for remaining balace and an additional $100, was never told to expect the full amount to be charged before check out or the extra money. Room was clean overall. I cannot speak on the breakfast selection as again the time for that was not shared at check in. I will never stay at another Comfort Suites, ever. I have booked many vacations through Expedia and never had any of them go off the agreed policy and just start charging my card.
