The pool and arcade for the kid made the trip to St. Louis Children's hospital worthwhile. Arcade does not take change (we brought a whole mason jar full😬)You have to purchase a game card w debit or cash. The restaurant was wonderful. I was a little worried because of the cheesy decor but the food was AMAZING.

Room and service were great, however the noise from the pool on Friday and Saturday nights was disturbing for those of us who go to bed before after 11pm

Thank you Carolyn,I appreciate you letting other people know the rooms facing the fundome area are not alway the preferred rooms. It totally depends on the individual sleeping habits, whether there are any really young children or just a personal preference. We are here to help you find the room that you prefer.

We had a pool side room on the 3rd floor. This was pool front which was great, but high enough not to get all the noise from the kids swimming and playing. I am glad we did not have a room on floor 1 as it got loud. The room was a typical room. The hotel is great for families with the activities: heated pool, hot hot tub, restaurant, bar, shuffle board, small put put golf area. The gym needs updated badly. The sauna was nice. The hotel is right beside Six Flags.

Staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and kind. Everyone from pool staff to the front desk to the restaurant workers. Pool staff continually worked to keep the area clean. Our rooms were clean and quiet at night. We enjoyed breakfast two mornings in a row and the restaurant staff was so kind and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and utilized the transportation shuttle to Six Flags. It worked great and the driver was very nice. Thank you for a great stay!

It was not easy to navigate around the hotel. There was a leak in the ceiling in the hallway right outside our room. There was just a bucket there collecting brown water. Several times I forgot and got water dripped on me. The service was poor. I had to ask multiple times to get towels brought to the room.

I am sorry to learn of your experience. Yes, the rain did take a toll on us and we are working to get everything back to normal. This is certainly not the experience we want any of our guests to have. The towels being delivered, definitely our error. This is a very worn-down hotel. The rooms and public areas are in sad (but not terrible) shape. would probably have not bother to write a review if it wasn’t for he poor experience with the staff. While the hotel appeared mostly empty when we came in early March, the restaurant was more crowded than expected (maybe a dozen diners). The staff seemed frustrated that my party also wanted to eat there and was so uninterested in taking our orders or seating us that we left. I assume by their reaction that they were understaffed but their discouraging and frustrated response to us wanting to eat at a maybe 1/4 full restaurant was not appropriate from people in the hospitality industry. Please train your staff better and give them better resources. That experience plus the shabbiness of the hotel made me never want to visit again.

beds were super comfortable there was a leak under sink if water ran very long there was also evidence of water damage in the ceiling as well. overall was very comfortable enjoyed having a movable table that fit between the beds in the room so all 5 of us could gather for card games. easy check in and out it .would be nice to have more than 1 bathroom in the family rooms that was a little challenging getting ready to go somewhere with 5 guests in the room ;)

This property is one of the few options near Eureka, and I have stayed there more than once. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. If you are a solo traveler, I would recommend asking for a room closer to the front of the hotel. I have been in the far back both stays, and it is a bit uncomfortable- dimly lit, multiple entrances to the rooms and hallways, and no security. The price is always right, parking is easy, and the staff is friendly.

Beautiful room with prime location next to the pool. Comfy beds, nice hot shower. We did have to ask for our room to be serviced in between nights, they skipped us totally. The pool rules are not enforced, parents allow their children to run around and play in the hot tub that is meant for adults. Breakfast buffet was ok, nothing fancy but the waitresses are nice.

I remember coming here when I was little. I am now 37 and bringing my kids. It still has that old fashioned charm. But rooms and bathrooms are updated. Everything is clean. Food and drinks at the restaurant/bar were tasty. Enjoyable winter break staycation!

Our vents were covered in filth Our slidding door would not close and stay closed. The tub was not clean. The front desk smelled awful. The hot tub was not hot.

The staff was incredible, very helpful. The evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant were very good and the wait staff was on top of everything. The room was the only down side, it was clean but with a medicinal smell and it is definitely dated and needs to be remodeled. Overall a great rating for staff and a "OK" rating for the room.

Smelly room
We were in a non smoking room. All the rooms in our hallway were non smoking rooms. However the room across from us was smoking maranta an and the smell was so intense it was stinking our room. Complained everyday and nothing was done.

Staff during check in were nice and gave good information. Our kids loved to pool and hot tub. It was nice that could go to bar area and order food for them. Great stay for families with kids!

I was grateful when checked in by Erica that she offered a room with two beds. I was staying with my sister and niece and only had the option of a single king when I booked the room. I very much appreciated the change in room.

This hotel had the best bed ever! We had a great time at the pool & arcade. Food at the restaurant was yummy. Highly recommend. Only thing we didn’t like was the water pressure for the shower. But it’s a hotel. Only so much can be done about the water pressure in a place that big.
