The property is peaceful staff are friendly helpful the food is good but if you want basic food you will have to go out for it our Room was nice i felt the bath/shower needed a hand grab for safety only a hand held mirror to shave in no fridge but otherwise for a different experience we found it v/good you get what you pay for.

This is an upmarket hotel but NOT adults only and is also pet friendly. So if you want tranquility around the pool area (which is normally lovely) you may well achieve this or on occasion you may find children playing in the pool, a random cat which people obviously feed and on one day a dog running around off a leash. Not easy to relax when a wet muzzle could be in your face at any moment. It is also worth mentioning there is no air conditioning. However if you don’t mind all of that, this is a truly, truly fantastic place. The employees are simply excellent - attentive, professional, courteous, thoughtful and proactive. Food and wine is extremely good. Dinner has a limited menu but only an issue if you stayed for 8 nights like we did. Having some of these dishes more than once is hardly a problem though! You get what you pay for - this is a very expensive venue, especially if you choose to eat and drink here a lot but it is high end and we will absolutely be back. Ps some other reviews mention hot rooms and road noise - we experienced both but it did not detract from our enjoyment. Fans are provided in the room and a day in the fresh air and plenty of vino ensured a peaceful and uninterrupted sleep !

Excellent, everything amazing! Only observation is they should offer free snacks when they serve pre-dinner drinks, maybe peanuts or crisps. They do offer bread sticks or olives, but charge for them.

We had exceptional and very enjoyable experiences for anniversaries and family relaxation times. The Manor provides pure indulgence and extreme satisfaction what ever your taste is. It is not just a hotel, it is also an experience. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Having had the pleasure at staying in the best hotels this country has to offer which are described as perfect, then this hotel has found a level that is one higher than perfect. All staffs eye for perfection was unsurpassed. The fine dining restaurant was superb and the 6000 bottle wine cellar along with their sommelier will provide a wine to every taste. If you go to this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely first class in every way! The attention to detail and professionalism of all staff are a complete credit to this lovely hotel. The quality of food was also of outstanding quality, beautifully presented and overall represented excellent value! We will undoubtedly return again very soon.

This was our second stay at the hotel and as the first was during winter, it was lovely being there during the sumner. We were able to enjoy the pool and gardens both of which are beautiful. The staff are so helpful and cheerful they really make the stay special. It is a beautiful, traditional hotel and we are looking forward to staying again soon

A wonderful Week at Longueville Manor.
Just back from a week at The Longueville Manor and can say it was a great place to stay. We had a local friend to dinner one evening and the hotel arranged a car to collect her and return her to her home, and generally made the evening alovely occasion right down to our chosen table in the restaurant..Thank you. We can recommend room 18 -garden view, and both restaurant and bar food is superb. Price - don't ask, but as in all things you get what you pay for.

First trip to the Longueville Manor. Very comfortable accommodation and excellent service. Cleanliness was spot on. A car is certainly required due to the location. Very happy with breakfast and food. Would certainly return.

Would highly recommend!
Our first time at this hotel and it was everything we wanted. First class service, comfort, staff, flexibility and excellent food. We were there for six nights, ate in the restaurant three times, so very slightly disappointed that the menu didn't change during our stay, although that may have been due to sourcing produce.

What a wonderful hotel!
It’s over 30 years since we last stayed at Longueville Manor and had a most memorable stay! Would it be as good as our memories? Well , yea it was, and difficult as it may have been, our expectations were totally exceeded. From th welcome on arrival to the friendly goodbye on leaving we had superb room, service, food and care, a total joy! It won’t be 30 years until we visit again! It’s so rare to find a hotel with such a customer focused attention to detail!

Worth every penny
Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff (our ferry was very delayed and they booked us another hotel for the night - Longueville was full. Beautiful gardens, great food but it was the staff that made it such a great stay. You will definitely need to book well ahead.
