My flight to Stansted was cancelled 2 hours before departing due to air traffic issue. And despite of notifying the hotel, being a frequent visitor, and despite of asking for cancelling the reservation, or at least have a voucher for a future stay, the answer was a NO. This is the kindlness of the hotel policy. Customer service???

Ideal si tienes que coger un vuelo pronto por la mañana y quieres madrugar lo justo, está a 5 minutos de la terminal conectado con un camino cubierto. Además está muy bien insonorizado.

Excelente hotel
Un hotel excelente para viajar por el aeropuerto de Stansted. Está a 5 minutos andando del aeropuerto. Habitaciones amplias, cómodas y muy limpias. El personal atento y profesional. El buffet de desayuno es muy bueno. Todo perfecto. Muchas gracias.

La calefacción de la habitación no funcionaba al llegar, después de quejarme la pusieron en marcha. La presión del agua de la ducha es muy débil. Desayuno fantástico, hall estupendo, bar abierto las 24hrs y toallas muy nuevas. Recomendable si se toma un vuelo muy pronto o muy tarde!

Vastly overpriced in the basic rooms. Bed far from comfortable, had a lot better at premier inn. Rm 251, the bathroom was clean but needs a lot of attention, cracked basin, mouldy shower tray silicon, hair in the shower tray…Long hair. Food….not great I. The main restaurant at night. Limited and not that fresh. Paying £125 a room a night, thinking it would be more comfy. We only did to reduce travel to and from Airport.

Very convenient for the airport. We stayed overnight as had a very early flight out the next morning and it’s only a 5min walk under a covered walkway. The hotel itself is “well loved” or perhaps “well used” is a better term. So it’s all a bit tired and beat up and the room seemed quite dirty and had a strong smell of a damp unclean rag.

Pretty good stay - clean and convenient for one night. Easy walk to airport. Didn't have a place to hand your jacket, iron or hair drier and phone to reception didn’t work so that was tricky….

Room was generally very clean. Bed side lights and the back of the bathroom door were thick with dust. The restaurant kitchen must have the largest bank of deep fat fryers and microwaves in the UK. Everything offered was deep fried or obviously microwavable. Basically if you are under 20, eat regularly at Macdonalds or similar youll love it. I'd not stay here again because of the restaurant. Youre isolated and have no other choices. So a nice steak or fresh fish would have been nice.

Hotels need to consider the impact of aircon that does not operate below 19 degrees on menopausal women. Stayed in this hotel a week ago and it was impossible to sleep due to the hot room temperature and lack of client control of the aircon. Plus no fan or opening windows. I messaged the hotel, knowing I had another reservation in a week’s time, informing them of the problem. Last night’s stay was slightly better, due to the fan, but the room temperature was still far too high. The Hampton by Hilton in Bath has alterable air con and windows that open, so this is possible.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel in absoluter Flughafen Nähe, wer spät kommt oder früh morgens fliegt, sollte ich hier einchecken. Sehr große Zimmer, gemütliche Betten, wir haben so gut wie kein Fluglärm gehört, war absolut in Ordnung. Abends ein phantastisches Abendessen in der Lobby zu fairen Preisen eingenommen. Frühstück war mit inkludiert und ok, sehr freundlicher Service, wir waren ein bisschen traurig, dass wir nach nur einer Übernachtung schon wieder abreisen mussten, um unseren Flieger zu bekommen. Wenn die nächsten Besuche in London sind und unsere Flugzeiten es hergeben, werden wir definitiv wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten.

Good, convenient position, nice towels and room. But not the best Hilton. Our night’s sleep was ruined by the non-alterable air conditioning, which meant that the room was simply too hot in temperature. The last Hilton we stayed at in Bath a few weeks’ ago was so much better as we were able to adjust it to our requirements. The shower trickled out too, so we may as well have stayed in a Travelodge.
