Great Place to Rest and Eat!
The room was perfect for us during our hunt. The 2 separate room was nice for our own privacy. I would like to have seen a TV in the small room. The convenience of getting delicious hot food downstairs made this an excellent place to stay. There were full-time residents in one of the rooms who burned an extremely foul-smelling incense stick which seemed to be a coverup for some other type of smell. It was horrible and filled our room each evening. I hope this doesn't happen for every guest. I would absolutely stay here again.

Pleasant experience
We were initially disappointed when we arrived around 7pm on a Saturday to find the restaurant below closed. It was unclear where the rooms were located, and we were a little put off by the entrance to the rooms (up an exterior stair case, above the kitchen of restaurant/bar). As we entered the room, we were pleasantly surprised to see how nice it was. Nice beds, nice bathroom, very clean, TV, mini-fridge, and microwave. It turns out we happened to be there during a local fundraiser event, and most of the surrounding restaurants and businesses were closed for the day.

Unique stay in Swan Valley
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Snake River Roadhouse. It was very unique; not at all what we expected. We especially enjoyed our fabulous meal at the restaurant and hanging out with the locals.

I don’t like to leave a bad review bc we didn’t actually get to stay there. But we booked in February and cancelled our stay way in advance- they said we would get our money back if no one booked. But when we looked for available spots, they were full and never received a credit. They basically got paid twice for the same room.

Really Nice Stay
Nice option for a short stay near Jackson to see Grand Teton and go whitewater rafting. With teenagers, Big Brown was a nice option to give them a room to themselves. The restaurant downstairs came in very handy. Rooms had AC, TV, cell signal and WiFi. All great for teens who had to endure several days in Yellowstone without such amenities. Check in was a breeze and room was clean and comfy. Definitely a great choice!

Nice place
The outside is not too nice but the inside is as pictured and clean and secured. Not enough wash cloths and towel, but they relied it’s on one of the drawers maybe we didn’t look enough. Wifi password didn’t work. Will recommend.

No communication
Swan Valley is a nice enough area and the restaurant served delicious food. Thank goodness the restaurant was open when we arrived in the afternoon because I was not sent any check in codes for the outside entrance or the room door. Luckily the waitress had the codes and was very helpful. There was no air conditioning in the adjoining room and the bathroom was very small.

Hi Sandra, thanks for your feedback. You were however sent access instructions 3 days prior to arrival just how we specify in our correspondence during the booking process as well as in the rental agreement that you signed. This is why we are always encouraging our guests to check their spam/trash folders or give us a call; our phone line is operated 24/7 for circumstances just like this one! We try to be as accurate as possible between our description and pictures so that our guests have all the information they need to make the best decision possible for their group. This property is not listed as having AC, but the owner generously has been working to add units to each room. There are also fans for your convenience. This room is accurately listed and I don't think that it is fair to base a review off of something that was clearly disclosed prior to booking.

I should have stayed somewhere else
We booked for 2 nights, ended up leaving a night early because I would have rather gone home early than stayed a second night in the room. Beds were squeaky, hard , springy and felt like they were going to break with every movement. No A/C so we slept with the windows open and the old loud fan that was supplied in the room; I woke up with a headache due to loud semi trucks passing in the night and the loud clicking fan. When we woke up we decided it wasn’t worth staying another night. The bar/restaurant downstairs was just ok. I would not book this place again.

Probably shouldn’t have rented this room for New Year’s Eve. It’s above a bar not a restaurant and there was DJ playing music till 2 AM. So loud you couldn’t hear TV in room. Otherwise a good value.

Our stay was enjoyable. The room accommodations were adequate, clean and nicely furnished. The restaurant downstairs was delicious with great food and ambience. About the only complaint would be that the bathroom vanity is too close to the toilet, one can hardly sit on it. Other than that, great stay!

You really are out in no man's area, but the price was right comparing pricing in JAC. Rooms very clean, and inviting. Accommodations were above a restaurant/bar area. The aroma of bacon and eyes in the morning made your mouth water. If your looking for action, forget it. The toilet bowl is not meant to be used by a big or long legged person. Very little room between the stool and sink cabinet. If using this establishment outside of JAC, drive the overpass except during snowy conditions. It saves quite a bit of driving time.

Left us with no place to stay
We traveled for 9 hours with small children only to find out our room wasn't cleaned. Beer cans, overflowing garbage, beds unmade and dirty, bathroom dirty. Windows open (it's below freezing outside) and fans blowing. I took photos to show. Along with that, the building isn't marked. We drove around the building which is a restaurant below. In the back you go up some stairs to find the door. The restaurant was closed but the people inside just stared at us and didn't offer to help find the room. When I called the number they said "sorry". So its 9:30 at night and we have no place to stay. Very disappointed. We later get a phone call saying there was a "mix-up". Yea there sure was.

Nice rooms, squeaky beds, only 1/2 a roll of tp. Wasn’t told abt stairs. No trash removal.
Should have been warned abt stairs. There should be a sign so we could find it. Pricey cleaning fee when no daily cleaning. Only 1 tiny trash can. Driveway to parking blocked. Ok for younger people. Too hard lifting our luggage and things upstairs.
