The hotel is a little run down but very comfortable and clean, my disappointment was they seemed to change the price and charged me when i checked out.. would be nice to know before hand then i could decide weather to stay or not.

We stay there because of the view , location, and swimming pool for my son. The standards are ordinary, from staff to menu. The building is old and most times the toilets don't flush adequately, and shower water pressure is a joke in the mornings.

This was my second time staying here. What was wrong: Lizards all over the place including in the room. The roof tiles were never replaced after Yolanda. What was right: good service and a super view

Its a Amazing old Hotell at the nicest location....If you dont care that it needs a big renovation...specially after the Yolanda Disaster that ruined the hotell....its a beautiful nice place to be...like an old nice lady.

ダウンタウンに程近く海沿いの立地。建物はだいぶ老朽化しており、なおかつ2013年の台風ヨランダ被災で施設の彼方此方傷みが有りますが修理はしていません。部屋に冷蔵庫は付いていない。プールは毎週月曜日に清掃日で使用不可能。値段にしては予想を下回る施設、ちょっと高いような気がする。海岸沿いでロケーションは最高ですが海では泳げない。

Staff are excellent. However, they are using on the job training (OJT) staff and are not being paid. Hotel seems to be out of repair after the hurricane. Location is excellent, next to the water, but upkeep is minimal.

It's an old dilapidated hotel. I hope that the public-private partnership will soon materialize so that the much needed rehabilitation of the facilities could push through. The hotel's location is very strategic being near the downtown area. Still has the best views of Mount Danglay, San Juanico Strait and San Pedro Bay. Friendly staff!

The room needs upgrade , phone line was working , I got bed bugs bites , and mosquitoes > scary I have to check out early morning because of mosquitoes flying around > there a private old non functional pool outside the villa , and the water was dark and stagnant , grasses were tall outside it seems they haven’t have any gardener or someone to clean up the yard , they charged for extra towel some of the light were busted , water temperature wasn’t hot . So disappointed !!!

We have returned to this hotel for reasons of nostalgia, my wife and I spent part of our honeymoon here in 1984 and this was our fourth visit each time bringing our growing family with us. The hotel is in need of renovation, much of it being merely cosmetic, though Yolanda damage will probably cost millions to rectify, it would, I am sure, pay for itself as wealthier clients would return to enjoy the location.

Hotel on the water, needs upgrade
The hotel itself is beat up. After Yolanda, I dont think they have the money to upgrade the hotel. The shower did not function properly and the phone in the room did not work. The hotel staff was pleasant and the breakfast buffet was decent. The pool area was nice and clean. The hotel is on the water, so you are paying for location.

I was frustrated. The hotel is not the way it used to be. Our room doesn't look clean. We were all complaining of itching the day after. I have mosquito bites everywhere. The villa needs a major upgrade. The location of the breakfast area compensates a little since we have a million dollar view. It's overlooking the ocean and the ocean breeze is so cool and comforting.

Disappointed
No hot water, very bad wifi, flys, mesqidows bad bed made it hard to sleep. The situation was so bad that after the first night I decided to leave although I had reservation for two more nights. I asked for refund but they refer me to hotels.com. still waiting to bear about the refund from hotels.com.

Rimelig hotel med god pool og store værelser
Godt stort hotel i Tacloban City, med en fantastisk udsigt fra restauranten udover nord øst siden af Leyte bugten. Bygninger er noget slidte og bæger stadig præg af skader fra Yolanda tyfonen i 2013. Værelser er dog store og pæne, med god AC og gode badeværelse. Høflig betjening og udemærket restaurant til både morgenmad og aften middage. Godt til større selskaber. Rigtig fin pool med flere dybder. God til børn, også de helt små.

Poor maintenance
I’ve been here several times since after Typhoon Yolanda but it seems like the hotel has very slow recovery. A lot of amenities are still not well renovated.

Needs some TLC
The room that we stayed in this time had a refrigerator. The room we would stay in later did not have a refrigerator. I think we could be a little more consistent and provide frigs for each of the rooms. While the hotel is nice, it really could use some fixing up. It looks dated and is need of quite a few repairs. Least of which is missing tiles on the roof and the ceiling in the lobby.

A great spot but needs some work.
The hotel has a lot of potential. It needs a lot of repairs. The rooms look dated. The sliding door to the balcony wouldn't lock properly unless you played with the lock. The entrance is dire need of repairs especially the ceiling. This was once a really nice spot. But they aren't taking care of the "curb appeal." The room we had this visit didn't come with a frig like the other room we had the previous stay.

Wot was missing
I book a villa but wasn't wot i thought it would be thing s missing and not working and we move rooms three time in different room there was shower not working no hot water no kettle and fridge not working and when ask for move coffee I didn't get in my room I don't drink tea and ordering for then not to be available is wrong and a cleaner was rude to my girlfriend

Leyte Park - Wonderful setting
Although a little old and in need of some minor modern upgrading perhaps, the hotel is clean and tidy. The room was comfortable and met every need. If there is anything to say, it's that the plumbing may need a little upgrading to improve the personal experience more, but that is a minor issue compared to overall stay.
