Well equipped and lovely holiday home.
We thoroughly enjoyed all the facilities available in this property. It had been equipped with a great deal of thought, from the quantities of cutlery and crockery, to the board games and books available.
Downside was the damp smell on entering the property which was off-putting until we got upstairs and found the lovely apartment. Car parking was an issue and we were constantly anxious about moving the car so as not to get fined, and the long walk uphill to the car park early each morning on the Ness. It took some getting used to, and cost us about £30 in parking fees.
Despite being asked in the instruction booklet to clean the property we were unable to do so as there wasn’t a single broom, vacuum cleaner or dustpan and brush, available to us. Instructions in the property told us where to find cleaning materials but the door was locked with a Yale key which we did not have. We cleaned as best we could. Beds were lovely and comfortable but bedding was creased and unironed, which took away from the luxury feel of a very lovely holiday home. These were just small things that could be improved on and should not take away from the beautiful apartment that it is.
