We stayed in this resort apartment last week and were very disappointed. The place looked nothing like the photos shown online.
• The apartment was damp and had a strong musty smell.
• The furniture was old and worn, and the carpet was stained and dirty.
• The entire unit felt unclean and poorly maintained—definitely not what you’d expect from a “resort.”
The checkout time was 10:00 AM, which is quite early, and the day before we left, they texted us offering a late checkout for an extra fee—something that felt more like an upsell tactic than a guest service.
Most frustrating of all, the pictures they use in their advertising are clearly heavily edited or photoshopped. They don’t reflect the real condition of the place at all. It’s misleading and unfair to guests. People should be able to see accurate, up-to-date photos so they can make an informed decision.
We took photos and videos to document what it actually looks like and are sharing them to help others avoid the same experience.
