Bienvenido a la "River Retreat House" en la hermosa Three Rivers. La casa es preciosa. Hermosos muebles de los sofás, mesas, camas, sillas, muebles de patio. Todos los acabados modernos y pisos de madera nuevos. Estamos a unos 20 minutos de la entrada del Parque Nacional Sequoia.

Ven y relájate en dos cubiertas en el río South Fork Kaweah. Disfrute de la propiedad bellamente ajardinada con impresionantes trabajos en roca. Siéntese alrededor del pozo de propano y cocine humo. Cocine afuera con la barbacoa de propano. Todas las comodidades: TV LED, cable satelital, WiFi, teléfono inalámbrico, reproductor de BluRay. Estamos a solo 20 minutos de los increíbles senderos al final de South Fork (como los senderos de lady bug).

Cuando comenzamos a remodelar la cabaña "Romantic River Retreat" nos enorgullecemos de hacerla especial. No solo pintamos sobre el revestimiento de madera de cedro, sino que lo manchamos meticulosamente. Nos tomamos nuestro tiempo para armar algo especial en la propiedad que, a pesar de sus elementos naturales, puede sentirse seguro, limpio, cómodo y acogedor en una propiedad recientemente remodelada en el río. Ponemos todos los muebles nuevos de los sofás, sillas, mesas, camas, todo. Instalamos encimeras de cristal de cuarzo blanco. Acabamos de poner grava nueva en todo el perímetro. Es algo asombroso y absolutamente hermoso.

Senderismo, rafting, ciclismo de montaña, paseos a caballo y paseos en bote son algunas de las actividades disponibles cerca. Aunque muchos vienen a relajarse, mirar las estrellas y disfrutar de la naturaleza.

Esta propiedad es muy singular porque, como la sequía ha afectado a California durante los últimos 3 años y muchas casas de ríos se secan a fines del verano para caer, bueno, tenemos la suerte de decir que NUNCA nos hemos secado (tocamos madera) debido a dónde sentarse en el río South Fork. Entonces, si se hospeda con nosotros, tenga la seguridad de que en cualquier momento del año experimentará el agua que fluye a través de nuestro río en nuestra propiedad.

Las cubiertas están a un corto paseo por el sendero hasta el acceso al río. Hay 2 casas de vacaciones privadas en la propiedad de 6 acres, por lo que si tiene una fiesta más grande y desea alquilar ambas casas, no dude en preguntar. Si tiene más familiares y amigos, entonces nuestra casa más grande puede acomodar también. Nos esforzamos para que su tiempo con nosotros sea una experiencia relajante y memorable.

Consumer AlertThe host requires a deposit (to be paid via Paypal) which was not stated before I rented the property. I called VRBO regarding and they informed me that a host cannot demand a deposit to be paid via third party (any other site other than VRBO) and it needed to be stated in the listing breakdown BEFORE PAYING FOR THE RENTAL. LocationThe location was about 20-30 minutes away from Universal Studios which was great! HouseThe size of the house accommodated 18 people. However, there was not enough towels to accommodate 18 people. House ConditionThe furniture has a lot of stretches on it, the media room chairs are broken, the dishwasher was not working, the front door was not childproof (locks from the outside ) a child can simply turn the knob and go out of the house ( we travel with a portable door lock). The stair railing was broken, stains on all of the carpet, and bugs where in the bedrooms. The air went out, however the host did send someone to fix it. I inquired about some of the conditions, but they were not addressed. Cleanliness The house was not cleaned properly. We had to clean the tubs. PoolThere are no lights in the pool. You cannot use it at night. The pool was cleaned once and not good. Not sure if the pool filter worked because it was a lot a ants floating in the pool later during our stay. The pool net to clean the pool had a hole in it. Stay interrupted The host had a four hour home inspection during my stay and claimed I would get 150

Overall really enjoyed the stay. Had a bad smell first night from previous tennant but it went away. Be aware, the shower is only comfortable if your under 5'2,Not kidding.

I'm not the best at taking vacations. I'm a worrier by nature but Srey made my trip stress-free. He was always available to me when i had questions or needed anything during the stay. Srey even helped us plan our trip several weeks in advance. As for the location itself, it was beautiful. We had a constant hum of the river and the stars were amazing at night. The house was clean and cozy. We used the BBQ and the stove for cooking and both worked great. The beds and couches were soft and comfortable. All of the linen and towels were also fresh and clean for us. I'm looking forward to my next trip to central California and have already talked with Srey about some of his other properties.

River Retreat House is the perfect place for a getaway in nature. The cabin is accessible from town via a 15-20 minute drive along a gorgeous, quiet mountain road and feels very remote (no cell service for us!), but it is equipped with everything you would need. We had a lovely time enjoying the gorgeous river that is accessible from the property and didn't see another soul. We also enjoyed the use of the propane fire pit and incredible views of the starry night sky from the backyard. The town of Three Rivers is very quaint and has multiple places to eat, drink, and shop on your way in or out of town, and after a very short drive you can be at the entrance to Sequoia National Park! We highly recommend this cabin and hope to return someday.

The property was just as described! Cute small and cozy cabin with a nice walk to the creek. I’m a clean freak and this property was extremely clean. It had everything we needed for a short stay and communication with the host was great. Easy check-in and clear instructions. Would love to stay again!

There are several things that made this a really great experience. First is Srey, the property owner/manager. I have stayed in several VRBO’s over the years, and she is by far the best communicator I’ve interacted with. In addition, she provided a wealth of information about the area - restaurants, markets, things to do - that saved us a lot of time. The house itself is very clean, well maintained, and in a wooded, private setting. The nearby property, which Srey also owns, was not an issue. There were people staying there while we were there; we never heard or saw them. The river is a short walk away and can be heard from the house. The internet is good which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. I look forward to staying here again.

It was terribly difficult to find. Need better signage. Couldnt turn on the heater unless you disarmed the smoke detector. Bathroom faucets are backwards, toilet paper is behind you. What is that about? Sorry, but we have vacation rental property and I am much more particular about the experience our guests have. The water and decks in back were beautiful. The space was very clean.

Srey was incredibly responsive and informative. The retreat was spotless. Beautiful, but remote, location. Would be best if you plan on hanging out there for a good chunk of your trip - even not considering a line to get into the park the retreat is >1hr from General Sherman etc...

Host was an excellent communicator before during and after our trip! House was super clean. Spacious for the two of us. Super remote/quiet and the river is a close walk. Would definitely stay again! Oh and the PacMan game was a bonus :)

We rented this is to have a place to sleep and hangout between our adventures in Sequoia National Park. This property is less than 15 min from the visitors center. The cabin is clean, the beds are comfortable and the property is beautiful! I highly recommend staying here. I advise checking in while it’s still daytime because the location is hard to find.

This little cabin made me feel I was away from civilization, exactly what I was looking for. There are a few houses around which is what I wanted! The three day stay was fenomenal, quiet, the sound of birds and the river flowing made it feel so relaxing. If you’re looking to escape the daily grind of the city, the his place is just for you! Sequoia National Park is also very close, like I said this place is very conveniently located!! Will definitely go back, thank you Srey!!

The property was very clean and updated. The decks along the river were a couple minutes walk from house and a great place to hangout and relax. The main attactions in Sequoia were 45 minutes to an hour away. Town of three rivers had a couple nice restaurant and Visalia is a short drive and has a nice down town. Had a wonderful stay at the property and would rent it again.

Stayed here with a couple of friends for a weekend exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The space was just right and the outdoor areas are well thought out and comfortable to use. The seating by the river was beautiful for morning coffee. Communication and check-in were easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Exceeded expectations from entering driveway to the grounds, river and inside the home. Clean, fresh and comfortable, with everything thoughtfully appointed. Best features was the setting- River with patio type dock, trees and quiet setting. Each night we sat under the stars, and the river was our background music. Very resoratiive.
