Hidden, Clean & Convenient
This little apartment is exactly as explained. Very clean and stocked well with towels, and amenities for a comfortable stay. The little path behind the house leading to the trail is truly a hidden gem. We enjoyed a beautiful jog and hike. I wish we could have stayed longer and brought our bikes. Unfortunately not enough time this trip.

Great access to the bike trail
This location is great if you plan on riding the bike trail. Close ride to town as well. However, it is a basement apartment it was damp inside. We left the doors n windows open an it seemed to help. But if you have allergies like me it can be rough. But the location fantastic. The trail through the wooded area is not well groomed so be very cautious going through. We walked our bikes through and I still fell once. My husband got caught on a log. So just be careful. There were several bags of wood chips in the path. We moved them to widen it for us but it still needs work. As a rental the path should be safer.

THANK YOU! We really appreciate constructive feedback because we strive to have a 5 star rental. We have cleared out the path through the woods. I need to remember to check it out after wind storms. You are the first to mention the humidity level in the apartment. We usually have a dehumidifier running and the apartment is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the cleaning lady forgot to turn on the dehumidifier prior to your visit. It is now on her “to do” list. Thanks again for your feedback.

Perfect place for 2
Spent 6 nights in this great little house. Everything was exactly as it appeared in the pictures. The owner provided a fabulous online booklet of information which made check in/out easy, as well as great information about the area. We used the cooler quite a bit, so we were thrilled it was available. We went to several grocery stores… the co-op was very expensive, Tom’s was convenient because it was so close, but our favorite was Meijer, because of the options and prices. We took advantage of the Leelanau trail behind the house for a lovely morning walk. The house was perfect for our needs. We would definitely stay there again.

Delightful bike themed stay
Perfect amount of space for the two of us. Loved the coffee. Quick walk to the bike trail. Thanks for letting us put bikes in the garage. Everything we needed. Loved the fun bike decor, too.

Everything you need
Great location on the Leelanau Trail. We easily biked into town. Hosts were friendly and prompt with communication. Big apartment with great light for a basement. Nice kitchen. They had everything from extra towels to beach chairs (which we used on the Bay and on the beach) to make our stay extra special. We would definitely stay here again.

Good location to bike trail
This location is perfect to jump onto the tart bike trail and just a few minutes to downtown TC. The place was very clean and had a well appointed kitchen. Little traffic noise Some noise as it is just off a main street, and AC ran little loud for sleeping but all-in-all a good value and I would definitely stay here again. Bob was great to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed!

Clean, quiet and close to amenities!
This VRBO rental was just what we needed for our trip! The space was as advertised and had all the creature comforts and amenities one would expect. The property is within walking/running/biking distance to local events and destinations - it's even located directly adjacent to a major bike path. The space was comfortable and clean and well equipped. Communication with the property manager was clear and concise as to check-in and check-out. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location with easy access to all areas.
Nice unit. Could use motion lights on garage to help at night. The unit is on basement level therefore cold floor (wear socks). Nicely stocked except missed a nondairy creamer for coffee. Would stay there again.

The next ride
The location is great. It was a beautiful day so our ride to Sutton Bay great. We also did the trail by the bay, also wonderful. The apartment was clean and convenient.

Just Perfect
The downstairs apartment was very cute, well kept, quiet, and centrally located so it was easy to travel around the area. The grocery store was close, and downtown Traverse City was 10 min away. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials, and they included coffee, a great plus. Do bring your own perishables. The owners provided a great review of local eateries and were wonderful to work with, before, during, and after our visit. They also responded quickly when I couldn't figure out the wi-fi. We will definitely look into renting again in the future. Highly recommend!

Spotless and nicely appointed
My wife and I used this as a base for cycling and touring in the Leelenau peninsula and it was excellent for that purpose. The place was spotlessly clean and very well appointed, having everything we needed. It was also nice that we could keep our bikes in the garage.

Great location
We found the property quaint and enjoyable. The owner provided lots of options to go and do and see. It was a new area for us and we found the property to be the perfect location for getting around. The owners were quick to address an issue that arose, and we thank them for that. We hope to return again another time.

Great stay.
Although it rained most of our vacation, we did enjoy the VBRO, we managed to ride 20 miles, and get some golf in, the place backs right up to the trail, makes riding very easy.

Excellent location- immediate trail access, close to downtown and beach access.
Perfect location! My only wish would be the yard a bit more kept up, so we could enjoy the backyard a bit more, fire pit, apartment was perfect for our needs. Host made it apparent that they were ready to assist with anything. We didn’t need a thing. Easy check in. Great having a full kitchen. Thank you for having the coffee all ready for brewing. Would definitely recommend for a few days to get away!!

Perfect Getaway
Bob's place was perfect for my girlfriend and I. We brought our bikes and biked the short ride into Traverse City. It was great having the bike trail right behind the home. Bob was quick to communicate and gave us some great recommendations on places to eat and things to do. The place was just what we were looking for and it worked out great for us!

Cute Studio near Traverse City
About a 5 minute drive to Traverse City, 40 minutes to Sleeping Bear Dunes, and ~30 minutes to wineries on Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsula. Very cute and clean studio apartment that has everything you need. Perfect for a couple.

Great visit
It’s a nice little place that is very clean and comfortable (although AC units are a little loud but easy enough to turn off). It is wonderful that it is right on the Leelanau Trail - makes for an easy ride into Traverse City. We would definitely recommend this site for a stay.

Our whole week was action filled . We rode 3 trails plus rode to TC . Went to Leland and rode inner tubes down the Platt. Just a great time and what a location . Went to Frankenmuth before going home .

Biking and Films in Traverse City
The goal of our vacation rental was a comfortable and quiet place where we could leave our car, bike the TART, Leelenau and Great Bear Dunes Heritage Trails and attend the Traverse City Film Festival. Bob's property was perfectly situated! We prepared breakfast each morning in the large open kitchen and sometimes returned in the afternoons to sit on the private, shady patio but for the most part we were in town or on the trails all day. There was plenty of storage space in the closet, extra bedding and towels, good WIFI, a garage for our bikes and all the amenities - even a coffee grinder! Each space has a ceiling fan and even when the weather was in the upper 80's we never needed the A.C. Being close to two grocery stores, restaurants and a coffee shop was helpful as traffic through Traverse City was slow due to the festival and beaches. Biking is clearly the way to go and the trails and streets are well marked and the drivers courteous to riders and pedestrians. My husband and I spent 5 days total and were joined on day 3 by my cousin who slept on the pull out sofa. While Bob lived downtown he was a very attentive host and answered texts quickly and stopped by to check on the house each day. If we had needed anything I am sure he would have been there. We highly recommend Bob's place, TCFF and Northern Michigan's warm mid-summer hospitality.

Near the Bike Trails
This was an excellent location for my husband and I Because we were near the intersection of the TART and Leelanau trails. We were just a short ride into Traverse city which was convenient for us. We also liked that there was a full kitchen and plenty of room for all of our belongings. We enjoyed watching Amazon prime TV in the evening too!

Awesome for two!
The decor was great, all the amenities were provided, and was happy to see the large Costco shampoo and body soaps. Much better on the environment than individual hotel sized samplers. We utilized the access to the Leelanau trail and enjoyed biking and going downtown with the easy access. Bob also let us use his garage to store our bikes so we didn’t need to keep them tethered to car’s bike rack when not in use. Would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect getaway!
My husband and I visited for a long weekend for our anniversary and I couldn’t recommend this place more! The rental was perfect and very thoughtfully put together for guests. It had everything that you could need and you could tell the owner wanted the guests to have a comfortable stay. It was fantastic that it was so close to the TART trail- literally just a short walk behind the house. My husband and I took our bikes and rode into Traverse City for breakfast and dinner rather than battling traffic. Otherwise the apartment was quiet and very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable basement apartment
Bob's place is great for a couple or two close friends who want to spend a long weekend in the TC area, and who want to ride bikes on the Leelanau Trail. It's not walking distance from downtown, so you'll have to drive into TC for dinner. The kitchenette has modern appliances, and the patio outside is nice in both the morning and evening.

Had everything we needed
We had a great stay at this little apartment. It had everything we needed, including paper products, shampoo, conditioner, and even lotion. We just had one question about access to the trail, so we texted the owner, and he was very helpful. Even though it was very hot and humid the week we were there, it stayed cool in the apartment with the ceiling fans and because it was in the lower level of the house. We did bring a few of our own fans up just to be safe, but we didn't really need them. It was also very quiet. It was off the beaten path which was nice because we were away from all the traffic We will definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect location!
Perfect location right on Leelanau Trail. Place is extremely clean and Bob is very attentive. There is no air conditioning (which was stated in description but I overlooked). Would stay here again!

Awesome place!
This apartment is close to downtown Traverse City and only 15 miles from Suttons Bay. Easy access to all the sights and shopping. Bob is great about checking in and seeing what you need! At night it is quiet and great sleeping. Highly recommend!

Great room, geat location.
We stayed a week at the end of Sept. Very clean, comfortable bed, nice kitchen. Very easy 10 minute drive (with traffic) from downtown TC. About the same time to the Mission Peninsula entry. Amazing location for food and wine. Just the right size for two people.

Wonderful stay!!
