Favorite property
This is always our work crew's first choice when they know they will be working at the lake. As soon as we know we are working at the lake they ask me to see if this property is available. We are always so grateful when it is. Can't say enough good things about our multiple stays here. They love it!

Cozy cottage with interesting decor
This cottage has 2 clean full bathrooms - one in a bedroom and one main bathroom. Both bedrooms have queen/king beds and the living room has a day bed. The kitchen is very nice. The carpets are old and have a cat smell. We could not see the lake from this property. Fine for a 2-night stay and for the price. There is a coffee shop and cute restaurant nearby.

Excellent as always
We work in the area and require overnight accommodations for the crews. This is their favorite place to stay. We are always so grateful when this home is available. Host is wonderful, property is nice and well cared for. The best home away from home for our guys! So much better than any hotel room could ever be.

Perfect Getaway

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Cute, nice house. You might want to try something different regarding the flooring. The throw rugs can be a bit dangerous. We just made sure we picked up our feet when walking. We enjoyed the area and the animals at the corner house. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Awesome Experience
Nestled within eye sight og Cedar Creek Lake, this VACATION was just what the Doctor ordered. Clear and well stocked, the experiment was phenomenal. Had aslight issue due to a death in the family but the owner quickly worked to resolve the issue. I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this propety to anyone even remotely thinking about it.

Lovely getaway
Words can not describe how lovely Michelle and Feren are. My stay was cutt short due to personal issues but my overall rating for this house rental is a 10/10. The house is in a quite neighborhood located an hour away if not less from Dallas, Ennis, and Corsicana. The house was very clean and has everything you could possibly need when it comes to cooking utensils to in house washer and dryer. Not only was the house clean but the porch at night was my personal favorite, reminds me of a fairy garden. I would highly recommend the house to anyone who is looking for these properties and would most definitely stay here again if I was ever planning to go back to this part of Texas.

Co-worker Canton trip
It was a little far from Canton Flea market trade days. It was about an hr drive. House was a good rental fee though. Houses in Canton were twice or three times the amount. So you either pay to be close toCanton or drive a little distance. Not a bad drive though. Just a little far. We were a little disappointed that we could not walk to the lake. No direct access from the house. House was very clean. It did have some condiments in refrigerator & additional spices in cabinets that I didn't expect. Other VRBO rentals did not have that. It just caught me by surprise on that. 😉 I would recommend that the oven be cleaned though😉. Neighborhood was neat , clean. Next door neighbor was very friendly. Overall the house was very nice & the stay was great! My coworkers & myself had a blast for the weekend. Thanks for letting us stay in your home

Cozy home, allowed for our every need!
This quaint home was ideal for our needs, traveling with 2 dogs. The location was quiet and the place was equipped with literally everything. Thank you!! They even had a pestle for my seasoning. The small porch facing the lake is perfect for drinks & grilling out on warm evenings. King bed was supportive & wonderful. Washer/dryer, ideal. Terrific water pressure in both showers. Home is nicely laid out and very cozy. IMHO the only things that require attention: 1. runner rugs atop the carpeting issue. We tripped on them daily. 2. House could be sprayed for insects. 3. Clear roof rain gutters /dropped leaves/branches. 4. Wash windows/clear cobwebs. We would defin stay here again, though. Truly perfect for dogs! Weather was lovely (coming from WI) Texas has it! PS Generally surprised by Trinidad Trailer park areas / neighborhoods ... (on local streets and even in other TX towns) trash collection a must.

Perfect for families
We loved our stay here. We just moved to Texas and needed a longer term rental while we looked at homes to buy. This home was exactly what our family (includes two under 3 and two dogs) needed. The home is spacious and comfortable. I had read some of the reviews about the cleanliness. There was some dust and cobwebs in the corners, and the carpet is a little bit older... But I would expect that of any lake house type setting. It would not deter me from staying here again. The yard was great for our dogs and toddler to run around in. We loved sitting out on the patio in evenings with the view of the lake. We got to know a few of the neighbors and they were all so friendly and welcoming of us! Our dogs even made many new dog friends here. I saw others comment on the noise too. The neighbors no longer have chickens, and their dogs will bark at times but we didn't really hear it when inside. I thought it was quiet and peaceful during our stay. Michelle was always availabile and quick to respond to any messages. They were also very accommodating of our situation and allowing us to pay in installments over the 2 months we stayed. So overall, I definitely recommend staying here. We will miss this place!

Work Related Trip
We have a work crew stay here while they work on a construction site on the lake. We are so happy they get to have a home away from home while working. This option is so much better than any hotel. We will continue to stay here during the construction of the lake projects we have, as long as they will continue to have us. It's the perfect solution for housing while working away from home.

All in all it was good. Would liked to have better tv reception, coffee filters for the regular coffee pot, and instructions other than leave it neat and tidy. Instructions should be given to what to do with sheets, towels and dishes in dishwasher. Every VRBO I have stayed has a book giving these instructions. But otherwise it was nice and the extras in the home were nice.

Everything was fine and in good order. Street address and actual street sign do not match but the gps directions we’re correct. Having a picture of the house helped us to be confident we were at the right place. Would rent this house again if the need arose.

Pleasant little stay!
Very nice little property, we loved the decorations, and the quiet neighborhood. Beds were also very comfy. Had one issue with the lock (bad button) but thankfully got it sorted pretty quick, owner was awesome in taking care of it.

Just right for us
We needed a place to get away to and still work remotly. Since it wasnt a full vacation for us the prperty served its purpose. Great change of scenery. It was very quiet in a nice neigborhood. Bathrooms were clean but there eete cobwebs in the house and outside . Overall for us it was perfect..

Nice little retreat not next to the shoreline
Cute and comfortable place. Nice neighborhood but no direct access to the lake. Needs some updates like new carpet and blinds. HOSTS were very friendly and responsive. Loved the washer and dryer & the kitchen!!

It says the property is one house away from the lake but don’t be fooled. You cannot access the lake from the property, you have to drive 20 mins to a public park called “Finley Park” to access the lake. Cleanliness could be better. The carpet was soggy and there were small insects in the house and bathroom.

There is nothing deceptive about our listing, it is clear that we are not waterfront. The only way to access the water is waterfront properties. Our house is great for the price, there is nothing comparable. If folks want waterfront and access rent a house that will cost much more per night. Want something reasonable, look at our rental. I take exception to the review as it implies we are deceptive, we are not. Quite the contrary we work with all of our guests to ensure they enjoy their stays. We open our home to you.

Great House and Great Vacation
We had an AMAZING week staying at this SUPER CUTE house! We had campfires and hung out outside the entire time! The only complaint was that it doesn't have public access to the lake and we had to drive to Eustace to get some good fishing/kayaking in. But GREAT house I would LOVE to come back

Lake time
This property is close to the water and there is a winery just down the road. It rained on us all weekend so we spent a lot of time inside or out and about the area. The home slept two adults and three children easily.

Great home on the lake
Great option for those that are going to Trade Days. Only 45 mins from the event but far enough away to have some peace and relaxation. The house was clean and stocked with items you may need during your stay. There are some small repairs that need to be done I.e carpet and bathroom door in guest room. Overall there is lots of beds and they are comfy.

Cute house/Not good for boat storage
My wife and I, stayed here with some friends. We both brought our boats, and we had issues with parking due to the tall trees in the middle of the property and the deep side ditches at the end of the street. Also, the microwave and dryer did not work, but the owner had left a note telling us this when we got there. I loved the stocked kitchen and the neighbors/people at the boat ramp were super friendly. I caught a huge catfish and my friend caught several bass.

Work Related Trip
We needed a place for our crew to stay while working on construction of a residential dwelling on the lake. This was the perfect solution. They have the comforts of being in a home instead of the cramped up feeling that a motel room gives you. They were able to prepare meals instead of having to eat at restaurants. And, there was a garage they could store materials/tools in. It was the ideal solution for this type of work related travel. The entire crew was happy with this alternative to a hotel room. Very grateful we had this option. We are on our second week there. We hope they are available and we are welcome back when we have to send a crew back to trim out the house. Thank you VRBO hosts.

Okay location if you want quiet
Bed was comfortable and the showers were hot with good water pressure. It was a quiet neighborhood. I would recommend a different cleaning company. There were crumbs on counter, bathroom towels in main bath were damp (guessing put away wet?), and the bed mantle was dusty. Whole house could use a good cleaning. There was dog poo in garage on rug (we didn’t use the garage other than to load our truck). Carpet needs replaced. Outside someone smoked and there were cigarettes everywhere along with empty soda bottles.

Nice, clean property
The house was very quaint and cozy. We are a family of 5 and we fit nicely! The kids enjoyed all of the Board games they had and it was walking distance from the lake. Highly recommend.
