Simplemente unas breves palabras para decir que el hotel es un 10 en todos los sentidos, playas, comida, instalaciones pero, sobre todo, por su equipo y empleados que son magníficos y muy atentos. Sin duda, un hotel para repetir.

Don't go there
The resort itself is max 3-4*. Old concept. Constant selling attitude of staff (room upgrade, better this or that etc.). Service attitude of staff not existing in many areas. Restaurants are ok but totally overpriced. Two episodes of our stay: During arrival, we had to wait 75 minutes in our room for our luggage (we were the only arrival at this time). There are different areas to enjoy the beach (all areas are free). We were asked by the staff to leave the beach lounger because a more important guest wanted to lie there.

Our room smelled of dampness when we arrived and the air conditioning would blow cold air even when it was turned off making our room unpleasant. The hotel provided us a cleaner room. The hotel has a stunning private island which made our week trip worthwhile yet the service and food was not up to the standard of a top hotel. Especially that we stayed at the One and Only Mauritius hotel the previous week, we could really feel a lower quality of service and food. The hotel needs a renovation and a more luxurious feel

THE BEST HOTEL EVER
I have travelled to over 40 countries, many several times. This must be THE best hotel I have ever stayed in. The money is 100% worth it, my only regret was not staying here longer. Loved every single second. Thank you for a memorable trip. Anyone considering this, book it!

Amazing place made better by the fabulous staff
Stayed with friends to celebrate 2 wedding anniversaries and 2 big birthdays. Relaxed, played golf and ate really well. Hotel is amazing. Feels so relaxed yet everything is run so efficiently. The staff are the best thing about the hotel. They are all wonderful, friendly and helpful. Feels like they really want you to enjoy your stay. We have visited this hotel several times and keep returning because the staff are so good. Golf course is beautiful and really well run so there is no waiting. A day on the private island with a long lunch is magical. Really good selection of restaurants. All are excellent but do book before you travel if you want to dine in the signature restaurants.

Toller Strand auf der vorgelagerten Insel
Das Resort ist sehr ansprechend aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Service in den Restaurants verbesserungsbedürftig: Die Frage nach einem Dekanter für den Rotwein wurde weder in englisch noch in französisch verstanden... Es dauerte ziemlich lange bis jemand wußte, was dekantieren bedeutet , in einem 5 Sterne Hotel... Absolutes Highlight ist der zum Resort gehörige Privatstrand auf der vorgelagerten kleinen Insel Ilot Mangenie. Der Strand war der schönste auf unserer Tour durch Mauritius (ok , es, war der gleiche wie nebenan in der ebenfalls besuchten Bubble Lodge)... Feinster weißer Naturstrand und zumindest Anfang Dezember (Nebensaison) fast leer. Das Resort hat auf der Insel ein gutes Beachrestaurant.

Just Perfect!
Excellent from beginning to end. The hotel staff are very helpful, the hotels has two islands which are very easily accessible with boats leaving the jetty every 20 mins. the sea is very clean around the hotel and the food is delicious. the experience was superb!

Staff are so genuinely caring. The property was stunning and all the staff couldnt do enough for you. I would like to give a special mention to Prince, Deepak, housekeeping team and gentleman who organises water sports. They all made our stay even more incredible. The breaks service was amazing and the whole property is stunning.

We stayed at Shangri-La Le Touessrok for the first 3 days of our honeymoon. This resort exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff was INCREDIBLE and made us feel like royalty. They bent over backwards to give us the most welcoming and enjoyable visit. We purchased the honeymoon package, which included a breakfast on the beach (was fabulous), foot massage, bottle of sparkling wine, and flowers/balloons. They even went above and beyond with that. They surprised us with a delicious cake to accompany the sparkling wine and had our room completely decorated when we returned from dinner on our anniversary night (we were honeymooning 2 years late due to Covid). The spa treatment was wonderful - much nicer than expected for being part of a package purchase. We spent an afternoon at the private island, to which they provide transportation, which was something we didn't know about until we got there. (Would recommend it!). We got to know the staff on a first name basis, and I honestly have never experienced the level of hospitality and kindness as we did at Shangri-La. I have zero complaints and would absolutely return to this property if we ever return to Mauritius.

Superbe expérience
Un séjour vraiment trop court à regret!! La suite Frangipani idéale pour les familles avec une vue ocean à couper le souffle. Un grand merci à Ash aux petits soins ainsi qu'à toute l'équipe des managers pour leur accueil aux house keeping tout le monde avec de vraies petites attentions personnalisées et l'envie de faire au mieux pour notre séjour soit parfait. Très bons restaurants! Plage superbe et ilet privé avec navette à proximité et services de l'hôtel de haut niveau. Seul bémol peut-être sur la politique de l'hôtel qui facture de l'eau à boire au restaurant même en demi pension, cela nous a étonné compte tenu du très haut niveau général. Mille mercis à toute l'équipe pour cette superbe expérience! Nous espérons revenir le plus tôt possible!

Tolles Hotel mit vielen Extras und privater Insel
Das Hotel ist eher unpersönlich da es mehr als 200 Zimmer hat. Der Service jedoch sehr nett. Die Massagen waren ausgezeichnet und auch kulinarisch war ein sehr gutes Angebot verfügbar. Vor allem das Japanische und das Restaurant Safran hatten sehr gutes Essen auf hohem Niveau. Am besten fanden wir die Möglichkeit die 2 privaten Inseln mit Boot zu bereisen und das überaus freundliche Personal beim Golfclub. Dort durfte unsere kleine mit 3.5 Jahren sich auch ausprobieren. Und das alles war inbegriffen im Hotelpreis ohne Aufpreis!

Super Hotel
Siper schönes Hotel. Das Check-in war reinbungslos. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Auch den schnell Test für COVID, ist reinbungslos gegangen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direktem Zugang zum Strand. Das Essen war fantastisch jeden Tag ein anderes Thema. Alles als buffet. Es hat noch 3 weitere Restaurants. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich würde jeder Zeit nochmals gehen.

Très belle prestations. Nombre de restaurants et qualitatifs. Un taux d'occupation faible du au covid ce qui rendait les prestations confortables. À refaire.

Best resort in Mauritius
Most probably the best resort on the island. We have been many times to Mauritius and saw numerous other hotels/resorts. This one is special as everything works and is made working on your request. From Brigitte in Kids Club to Andreas the main manager for all culinary hilights, the people are absolutely fantastic. We stayed over a months and had no remarks. Christmas Party for the kids - fabulous - News Year Beach Party very nice. Also very nice evening programmes. Many other guests who came in from other resorts as they changed hotel - even from Four Seasons - were totally in favour of the Shangri La. They did not fire people during the crisis and that absolutely pays off. Service quality top. The resort is very well kept. The food excellent. The beach beautiful. All facilities in top condition. We can absolutely recommend.
