Beach House se encuentra a 100 metros de la playa de Bandera Azul en Porthtowan, un pequeño pueblo costero con una impresionante playa de arena de 1 milla, enmarcada por la costa protegida del National Trust y servida por RNLI Lifeguards. Aprende a surfear en el legendario Tris Surf o disfruta de la emoción de la naturaleza tumbado en una tabla de espuma. En la playa se encuentra el 'Blue Bar', un pub de Good Pub Guide con excelente comida, y el café Chapel Porth National Trust, hogar del famoso helado HedgeHog. Los caminantes toman el camino costero del sudoeste desde la puerta a través de la costa norte de Cornualles, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Para ciclistas: tome una ruta ciclista de 11 millas de costa a costa a lo largo de antiguas líneas de ferrocarril y una de las mejores instalaciones de BMX en el Reino Unido está cerca. Lovely property with great views, comfortable and well equipped. We've stayed in the village several times but this was our first time in this house, I'm sure it won't be the last.Lots of steps up to the property, might be a problem for older and less physically fit people, but weren't a problem for us. The views are worth it! We found the steep driveway a bit of a problem but found parking elsewhere

We had a few minor problems on arrival, which are charming host sorted quickly. The house and location are stunning. It is close to the beach, various eateries and a Post Office/ local store.The steps up to the house were challenging, but worth the effort. All the rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable. And it was wonderfully quiet at night. We hope to return.

The property and location were great. The car parking was was not ideal but we knew that clearly beforehand. The thing that was not mentioned beforehand was all the steps and was a hassle taking pushchairs and prams and even the luggage up and down. Overall it was worth the hassles !

The property was extremely clean and well-stocked. It's a beautiful home with a beautiful view of the beach. We really enjoyed our time there. The driveway is a killer and there are several steps to the entrance, but the climb is so worth it! Thanks for a great few days in Porthtowan!

Lovely stay, nice house took advantage of the beach which was lovely. Great bar by the sea nearby. Some decor needs refreshing and the single day beds are not suitable for teens as too restrictive. House has everything you need but bring firewood and kindling as not much provided.

Matk was very accommodating so thank you. Lovely spot right next to the beach. Yes the steps was a challenge by myself and dogs but was well worth it just for the view.Not able to park on the drive as the Car wouldn’t get up the drive due to luggage in thr boot. Parked in a nearby car parkProperty had everything I needed and was very cleanI did highlight to Mark about the oil tank outside producing fumes but haven’t had a response. So be careful using naked flames next to it . Nice large fridge but the surround system didn’t work although there was sky and a large TV. Loved the living room. And the blind mechanism which was quite smart. It is an old building so expect some noise from the pipes when the boiler is on Overall great vacation let. Sent from my iPhone

7th visit in 8 years to this property, perfect location, everything you need is catered for, Blue Bar, Unicorn excellent, Porthtowan is my heaven.

Lovely place to stay We went for morning walks on the beach Used the blue bar and had a wonderful meal at the unicorn which are both less then a 5min walk Used the post office to buy a pint of milk again 2 min walk The house was amazing every thing you need to stay felt very safe in the area used the carpark to park tge cars didnt use the drive

We stayed here for 2 nights in January 2025 for 2 nights as a group of 8 including young children as a family weekend away. The house itself is lovely with good facilities and stunning views. Appreciate it was off season however arriving with the majority of the outside area unable to use was a big let down. Tools, wood cuttings, nails and screws everywhere, gaps in unfinished railings some of which were at a high height made it unsafe for our kids to go outside as well as the dogs. Scrap pieces of wood had been piled at the top of the garden with nails sticking out of them, it was all everywhere. It was not communicated to us at all that the house would be having work done and half the deck unable to use. I messaged the host to see if we could arrive an hour early as was travelling from a distance to which they eventually agreed but initially said they would need to check as the deck has been replaced that week. It was completely unfinished when we arrived. It really affected our stay it was a present to our in laws as a gift and it really let us down. Porthtowan is a beautiful place and this house I’m sure will be stunning in the summer when the work is complete, I have just never experienced something like this. No apology or any communication from host to explain situation.

Nice property with plenty of space. We stayed in winter but the deck would obviously be lovely in summer! Parking is available but is tricky and not ideal if you have a van - up a steep ramp and then requires reversing down a narrow lane to get out. Not impossible but not easy! There is parking in the village which was easily accessible when we stayed.

The house is beautifully situated above the village. You have a great view of the beach. We felt very comfortable in the house. We have rarely vacationed in such a well-equipped and beautifully furnished house.
