We stayed here for 5 nights, whilst attending a swim meet at the Tupelo Aquatic Center. The house is situated in the Tupelo Mill Village historic district - the area is full of homes of varying character and upkeep. We felt very safe there and it was peaceful sitting outside on the front porch, watching the world go by, with coffee in hand.
This home has been lovingly updated and you get a lot of square footage for your rental dollar - the master bedroom and en suite are huge! I also loved that the master bedroom was situated at the rear of the house, making for a great nights sleep.
The house is approx 2 mins away from the downtown historic district by car, and on a cool day, you could most certainly walk there! We were surprised at how many great independent restaurants there were to choose from in Tupelo - we enjoyed lunch at Cafe 212 (the homeowner was right, the chicken salad is great), had brunch at the Brick & Spoon (chain) and on our last night, enjoyed the tastiest burgers at the Neon Pig! The staff in the aforementioned places were friendly and welcoming.
In terms of supplies provided within the house, the home owner has made sure that all the basics are on hand and there was no need to rush out to the supermarket -shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, toilet rolls, trash bags, coffee pods, basket full of chips, snack bars were all on hand.
We enjoyed our time in Tupelo & will certainly consider this home again - thanks for having us!
