A short stay in a nice house

Ten of us spent two nights here in mid-May. A minor location downside this summer is the highway construction all along the lakefront from Two Rivers to Manitowoc. Driving in either direction is a slow, one lane affair on pretty rough surfaces, potentially behind slow moving trucks.Aside from this, the house was great. Beds were comfortable and the large family room areas were put to good use each day, as was the fire ring outside.Lots of fun; will consider again for future trips.

Family Time Getaway

A perfect home for families to come together. Plenty of room in the 5 listed bedrooms (upon arrival we noticed an additional twin was in a spare room on the main level). We all commented on the comfortable beds and nice pressure in the shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash s dispensers were in the shower, nice perk. The three season room was nice for extra space for the kids to catch a break watching some TV and playing while the adults had a chance to visit in the family room or to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning and look over Lake Michigan. Owners were welcoming and responsive about check-in/check-out procedures and made our stay easy. Nice location between Two Rivers and Manitowoc.

Wonderful hosts and cozy home

Dan and Pennae were sweet and wonderful hosts. They were very detailed and had great communication.Theide House is nestled in between Manitowac and Two Rivers. Providing quick access to both places. The house had plenty of room and amenities for my family of 7. Our short trip had multiple days of snowfall and Dan was always up in the morning shoveling the driveway and clearing snow off our vehicles. We'll need to make another trip out when the weather is warmer.

Fantasic family experience

Beautiful lake views, excellent amount of hot water. Cozy and spacious. Comfortable beds and loungers. Very kid friendly. Excellent towels,host was fabulous and very responsive. The house was very clean, nicely maintained, well furnished throughout, and seasonally decorated.

Lovely But Lacking

Our biggest complaint was that there wasn’t any AC on the main level. We found fans, but it was quite difficult to enjoy the house with the distraction of near 90* weather and humidity. We traveled with kids ranging from 18 months- 7 years, but even after they went to bed, the house was sticky. The owner was pleasant to work with, but directions on how to turn on dining room lights, what buildings were considered “garage” and “warehouse” weren’t clear, and lightbulbs needed to be changed before we got there. Location was great though! We loved being so close to the beach. Neighbors were friendly too.

Spacious, lovely, impeccably clean property with lake view. We especially enjoyed the sun porch! Good location near many activities—hiking, museums, restaurants. Very friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend!

Best Stay Ever!

We were in town for my son’s wedding. This sweet home provided us the perfect place to land after busy days and plenty of gathering areas for our family to get together. The beds were so cozy snd the location was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!!

A gem by Lake Michigan

Wonderful property right across the street from Lake Michigan. Our hosts went far and above our expectations meeting all our needs, even when our runners needed ice packs and heating pads after the Maritime Marathon. We will definitely be back next year if we run again. Highly recommend!

Girls Weekend Getaway

Annually we sisters, mom, and nieces gather for games, walks, talks, and togetherness, with ages ranging from mid-20s to mid-80s. Our home in Two Rivers was perfect! Our view of Lake Michigan and short walk to Mariners Trail was just as described. But the best part was our welcoming hosts (thank you Pennae and Dan!) and all the thoughtful amenities throughout the house they provided for our comfort: plenty of toiletries (tissue box in every room-my favorite with seasonal allergies!) and lots of towels in each bathroom, ample dishware and cooking supplies in the kitchen, cute decor, cozy throw blankets, and table and chairs large enough for rousing games of Scattergories, What?, and Solitaire Frenzy! The furniture, beds, and pillows were very comfortable, and there was plenty of sleeping space for our entire group. Will stay again!

Wonderful Location!

Six of us stayed here, and it was super clean, across the street from the lake (which we called the ocean); the beach was sandy and perfect. We had plenty of room for all of us. Everything was SO clean and the yard was wonderful. We drove up to Door County one day and then to Sheboygan the next. Perfect central location. We went to the farmer's market in Manitowoc and ate at Dallis. We stopped in Two Rivers at Cool City, and both were excellent. We will definitely book this house again. I loved drinking coffee in the sunroom and watching the birds while the wind from the lake filled the room!

Amazing stay!

Property owners are easy to reach and very accomodating. House is just across the street from lake Michigan. Nice walking path and beautiful views!! Would recommend this property!
