Great accommodations! The owners of this property have paid attention to detail and tried to have everything a guest would need. The art and colors and the mixing of new with antique was a beautiful touch. We had a great time and would look to stay at this home again.

Fabulous vacation spot

This is a beautiful, charming property close to the beach. It provided a glorious spot for our family vacation. And the downstairs area was perfect for those who needed to work without the distractions of family. The owners could not have been easier to work with - we loved it and will be back

The best of the best!

Gorgeous, clean, comfortable home!!! Close to Everything!! Room for family to sit comfortably and visit!! And we all ouuuu'd and ahhhhh'd over the decor of the home!! (screened in porch was exceptional!!) On a scale of one to ten, we would definitely give it a 10 ☺️👍

Beautiful Property with Great Location

We had an amazing time at this wonderful property for our family vacation. Location is ideal for walking to the beach, downtown, and the grocery store. Loved all of the amenities the home offered.

Loved it!

My group of 3 friends and I loved our week at XO Tybee! The weather was hit or miss the whole week (not surprising for the beginning of April), but the house was perfect for a mix of beach time, in-home meals and wine, and movie nights. The screened in porch was perfect for watching a storm roll through! The owner is very thoughtful and speedy with his responses, the decor is just as cute as you expect from the pictures, and the beds are super comfy after long walks to the lighthouse. We were very pleased with the bathrooms - in particular, the guest bath has a great rain shower head! The bunk room is tight for 2 adults with suitcases, but that was easy to be creative with. You really can’t ask for a better location or a cuter, comfier cottage. We definitely hope to come back!

Excellent and colorful place with plenty of space for porch living!

Stayed here to celebrate my 40th birthday with family (all adults). We loved sharing meals on the porch, the short walk to the beach, the colorful decor, and the mid-island location. The property manager has thought of everything - pantry items, bath salts, beach equipment, fire pit fuel, etc. We spent a rainy day exploring some of the old books throughout the house (though I might not recommend the 1944 edition of "400 Salads" - so many jello recipes!). Any messages to property management were met with a quick and kind response. Only drawback: If, like me, you are planning a trip for six adults ages 37 to 66, I might mention that there are only two king size beds (super comfy ones!) and someone will need to either be on a sofa bed downstairs (outdoor access only) or in the "kids" room. Despite this, we had a blast!

Loved staying at this place. Full of character and color. Comfortable beds. Screened porch was useful on rainy days and kept us safe from the bugs. Very convenient to walk to the beach and grocery store.

Unique home

We loved staying in this unique home! Everything was perfectly prepared for us and we had everything we needed for a comfortable long weekend! The host was quick to respond and very friendly. There were so many cozy places to gather outside (and inside). We will all be back for sure!

You had me at that orange front door!

Do not hesitate to rent this lovely home!! We enjoyed four nights for Labor Day with our adult kids and a four year old grandson. It could not have been a more perfect place including the location. The renovation of this home was glorious with the white ship lap walls and touches of color throughout. A perfect beach house. Clean. Comfortable beds and everything we needed to enjoy lazy beach days. We cooked many meals and ate on the screened porches. There was always a breeze and ceiling fans everywhere. We roasted marshmallows and did a little crabbing at night. People were friendly and we felt safe. The beach is an easy walk to the sand and there is a deep beach with plenty of space. It was busy but not over crowded. The owners have been great and checked on us by email. You can reach them by phone if needed. You will want a wagon or cart of some kind to get your gear to the beach. You don’t really need to rent a golf cart because there is a well stocked store a 1/2 block from the house. We bought steaks and fresh shrimp off the boat here. The convenient to use grill is propane. We ate at Cockspur Grill one evening and enjoyed a drink and seafood. As others have said it’s at the end of a gas station but eat on the side patio and listen to some live music. Very casual. We had most everything we needed with a few exceptions. We didn’t find any games but there are cool books to read. There is no ice maker as stated and only ice cube trays but you can get bagged ice at the store nearby. “Coffee maker” is a Kurig machine. We have stayed in many beach homes and most have some spices and such and there was not much here so you’ll need to bring salt and pepper, spices, oil etc to suit what you’re planning to cook. Still it’s easy to get in the neighborhood store. We flew into Savannah and brought our main supplies at the Publix on our way to the house. There is also a big Walmart in the same center. There was a good umbrella, beach chairs (maybe 4-5) plenty of beach towels. You can also rent these. Be sure to reserved a sand cart at Tim’s beach gear if you want one. The very nice owner has invited me to give him feedback on the few things missing like a can opener!! Otherwise you will have what you most likely will need. It’s a very special place. Wish it was mine!

Shiny Beach House Reno with Ocean Breezes and Lots of Extras!

Beautiful renovation of a classic Tybee raised cottage left us wanting more time! Fun mix of colorful fabrics, custom murals, comfortable furniture and all the TVs and tech you need. Beautiful kitchen and open living space upstairs, with two King bedrooms, a two-twin bedroom (all opening onto the screen porch), and two baths. Amazing downstairs entertainment area with projection TV, an actual bar and fire pit adjacent to the downstairs bonus suite. The new owners incorporated vintage items purchased with the house into the decor in thoughtful and beautiful ways. We could not have been happier with our choice and hope to return!
