Very peaceful
We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cabin and the wildlife. We have no complaints and would return for another stay. Only recommendation would be to have reading lights in the living and bedroom.

Quiet Retreat
The cabin was beautiful, clean, & quiet, with a list of great places to visit in the surrounding areas. They were very helpful with any questions we had. My husband and I booked this as an anniversary trip & this rental exceeded our expectations! If we’re ever in the area again, this will be the place we stay! Thanks again to the owners for such a beautiful getaway!

Perfect getaway
If you’re looking for a nice, quiet getaway to relax this private cabin is your place! Reed and Dawn are excellent hosts and their cabin is absolutely beautiful! There are a lot of gravel roads out there so don’t take your Sunday driver.

Serene Cabin
It is unfair that this cabin should get even one bad review. Upon arrival the host was kind and courteous. That was the first and last interaction with him. The cabin is not done justice through the pictures posted. We stepped into another world when we crossed the threshold. All modern on the inside, this 3 bedroom cabin can be home away from home. A very clean, inviting and private location with all the necessary amenities. The hot water worked. The surrounding towns offer lots of activities which the host so kindly listed by distance and time. Take a walk early in the morning and breathe in all the wonderful crisp country air. We will return to this cabin and will definitely recommend.

The cabin is as appears in the photos- not a disaster, but not very nice.
When we arrived we had to go to the owner’s house (Dawn) to follow her to the cabin, and she let us in and showed us around - without a mask so the “no person-to-person contact check in” was a total lie. We didn’t love this as we had not idea if she’s been vaccinated against COVID-19. We had no hot water. We let Dawn know and she and her husband came to the cabin immediately and came right in. I appreciated the quick response, but we are still in a pandemic so I was not thrilled that they came right in with no masks. Dawn said she would contact their handy man after they had checked the breaker and hot water heater. I got a text later in the evening (we had left so my phone must’ve gotten service for a split second) saying the handyman would be coming first thing sat morning. Again, we appreciated the quick response, but that didn’t work for us. (We brought our elderly dog who is recovering from an injury and needs to be kept calm so having strangers roll through the cabin (again) would get him worked up and that’s last thing we needed.) There was zero cell service, I wasn’t able to call over WiFi, and there was no land line so communicating with the owner was rough. I messaged on the vrbo app letting her know that that time wasn’t good, but the app was having issues too. We ended up putting a note on the door in the event the handy man (also no clue about his vaccination status) did show saying not to knock or enter. It’s a good thing we did because we heard him come, make it to the door, see the note and then leave. We would rather deal with no hot water for 2 days rather than put our dog at risk for re-injury. This whole scenario just made the entire trip stressful, very unfun, and unrelaxing. Other items of note: - There were ants and other bugs aplenty in the house. - The old used sponges sitting at the sink made us grossed out considering the place is advertised as “disinfectanted”. - Overall not very clean. I dropped my phone down a couch cushion and when I went to retrieve the phone I was grossed out by what I found. - Bathroom is tiny, but functional. There was a good amount of mold along the baseline of the shower, but we could only do “sink scrubs” due to lack of hot water so it wasn’t a problem for us. - Without hot water it creeped us out that it was fairly likely that the sheets we used weren’t cleaned with the advertised hot water being at 140+ degrees. We came up for a family wedding & didn’t have another option.

Excellent isolation!
A great stay! Owner Dawn very friendly! Spotty wifi and no cell signal be warned! Come prepared with things downloaded. A great property and living space, extremely enjoyable. Some people did come by on ATV’s which spoiled the isolation and intimacy a little, but they only appeared on one day. Can’t wait to come back!

Great Hide Away
Love the seclusion and the wildlife. Huge porch with grill to hose family gatherings in an otherwise beautiful quiet setting. Saw deer and other wildlife daily. Owner was great and resolved a problem with the Direct TV (it was an area outage) immediately. Very friendly and helpful.

Quiet locationi!
This cabin is set way back on the property and has a lot of space to stretch out and enjoy the quiet. Inside has everything you need to cook and plenty of space to relax. The washer and dryer was a nice addition and made it nice to take home clean clothes. There is a great yard and would suggest you bring any lawn games, lounge chairs, etc to enjoy it. We managed to go into town and found some plastic kids balls to make a makeshift bocce set - but, I would have definitely brought my own if I'd known there weren't any lawn games on the premises. While it is a quiet space and pretty secluded, it sits behind a few other properties, one of which uses trails by the stone wall for their 4 wheelers. Surprised us one night when they were zooming about the trails around 10:00 p.m. Made us realize we weren't the only ones around after all. Otherwise, it is a nice retreat and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful.

A little piece of Heaven
We stayed on Dawn and Reed's property for three nights. It was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, private and beautiful views. We really enjoyed the trails and watching the families of deer play in the field along with the turkeys and even a beautiful owl. The cabin was cozy and clean. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Dawn made us feel very much at home. We are looking forward to our next stay. David and Wanda

Perfect Fourth of July Weekend
Private, Quiet, Clean and Amazing hospitality from the Owners. They treated us as if we were family staying in a cabin on their property. The property surrounding the cabin was huge, perfect for outdoor games, relaxing and exploring nature. Couldn’t ask for more! Can’t wait to go back in the fall!

Was down there for work we originally booked three nights and had to extend it to three and the owners are very accommodating very clean beautiful surroundings a ton of wildlife around. Would enjoy going back when I can actually enjoy it on vacation and not have to work

Beautiful private retreat
This cabin was exactly what I needed for the weekend getaway. Very secluded and quiet and not far from town, restaurants and trails. The host was super accommodating and helpful. If you are looking for a cozy cabin to relax and be disconnected from the crazy life this is your place to go. I will definitely go back again anytime I get the chance!

“Secluded Naturez Countryside Den!”
The cabin was beautifully secluded for a best personal time with family/friends. Host was awesome and quick to respond! The cabin was clean/fully equipped. *May not be a necessary mention- The restroom can be further remodeled/well maintained!* A jacuzzi would have been a complete package/feature to have at such private cabins. Loved the front yard space to be able to play volleyball/football/badminton with friends! Has Fireplace/BBQ/WiFi/TV/Heater.....!😊👍🏻🍾

Great place to relax and getaway for the weekend
A few friends and I went and had a good time . The description is exactly how it was. The only thing I would recommend is to use the wifi and download the map to where you want to go otherwise you might have to drive for 30 mins just to get a signal. But other than that it was pleasant and the owners were very helpful when arriving. I would definitely go back in the future

Clean, Quiet, Remote, & Family-Friendly
Clean, quiet, remote cabin. Owners very responsive, helpful, and generous. Cabin contains commodities of a hotel with the comfort of a private living space. The kitchen was handy for sticking to a budget and for enjoying an actually-good-cup of coffee in the morning. Ability to do laundry on site while still enjoying our weekend was also very helpful (Let's face it - no one wants to do it when they arrive back home!)

Comfortable country cabin
Cabin was neat and clean, set on a ton of land. If you are looking to get away from it all, you can’t do much better. The property owners couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Would definitely go back.
