Short Stay
This cute coach house provided everything we needed for our short stay in Vancouver. Shirley met us and acquainted us with the property. The toiletries were excellent.

Great Guest House
Stayed for five nights. One of the best stocked kitchens I have ever had in terms if utensils. Appreciated the AC but rarely needed to use it. Loved having lots of throw pillows in the bedroom. Great access to restaurants and a short walk to a grocery store. Hope we have the opportunity to stay again.

Coach House
Parking easily accessible to home. Shirley greeted us upon arrival for our tour. Lovely home - everything we needed and bed was comfortable. Lots of natural light. After being on the road for a week it was wonderful to prepare our own meals - kitchen is fully equipped. Being so close to Main Street was a bonus. Lots of amazing restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. Very quiet and private location. We would definitely book this home again. Thank you Shirley and Al.

From booking the hosts were fantastic at communicating and helping to arrange a smooth checkin. Lovely, comfortable stay in a well located home. Felt very safe and it was lovely and quiet. would definitely stay again.

Convenient and beautiful!
Such a great location with awesome amenities! Gorgeous and new inside. Easy to feel at home. Only 20 minutes to the gorgeous Stanley Park and a quick 15 minute cab ride to downtown Vancouver! Perfect first visit to the city.

Our home away from home
So comfortable, spotlessly clean and new, everything we need is at our fingertips. And there are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and other services right down the street. Al and Shirley are just wonderful to us. Thank you - we will be back!

Awesome vacation!
Thank you to Alan and Shirley for sharing their beautiful guest house with us for the week. The house is so cute - it was the perfect size for us and had plenty of room. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we even took advantage of having a full size washer and dryer. It had everything we could have ever wanted and was immaculately clean. Shirley greeted us as soon as we pulled into the driveway and showed us the house and gave us some general directions for the neighborhood and for Vancouver. The location couldn't have been better, and it was very convenient to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Plus there are dozens of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We had a great time visiting Vancouver, and thank you to Alan and Shirley for being such great hosts!

Fantastic place to stay in Vancouver!
The little guest house has everything you need! Fully equipped kitchen with state of the art appliances. It is immaculate! Private! Very comfortable! Beautiful modern finishes! It was great to be able to do laundry after travelling for a few weeks- top of the line washer/dryer- they even provided detergent & fabric softener. Radiant heat floors if you are cold, but they also have AC & fans since it was unusually hot recently. Very convenient to get around - bus right around the corner. There are fantastic restaurants within walking distances if you don’t feel like going downtown and a great supermarket 2 blocks away if you want to cook...Our hosts Alan & Shirley were very warm and welcoming! They were extremely helpful and offered a wealth of information on places to go/ bus routes/ activities available etc! This was our first VRBO experience. We cannot wait to come back!

Cute & clean house in a great location!
We arrived in Vancouver late at night after an 8 hour train ride and were pretty exhausted. When we got to the house, the owner was waiting up to welcome us with a bright smile. She gave us a tour of the house, ideas for breakfast, and even left cookies and waters for us, which was much needed after a long day of travel! The house itself was very modern and clean, with lots of great amenities, including WiFi. The queen bed was comfy, and our son enjoyed the fold-out sofa and TV with Netflix. Being able to do laundry was a great plus after a few days of hiking. There is also a Keurig and full coffee/tea options. There is a market just a block away, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Its a great location to check out all Vancouver has to offer, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

There is everything you might need, from laundry detergent to salt and pepper. We stayed here for 3 days and we enjoyed it, it’s close to a bus stp and the vibrant Main Street. Clean, spacious and independent.

The house is wonderful, well supplied with everything you’ll need, private in a great location.
Shirley and Al were very friendly greeting us when we arrived. Property is in great location near points of interest and downtown. We cooked breakfast daily in the beautiful kitchen which was well supplied. My husband has a bad back but had no issues the Bed was very comfortable giving us a good night sleep. We will definitely book with Shirley and Al on our next trip The Moreno’s

A beautiful little spot with all amenities required for a perfect stay.
Al and Shirley were amazing hosts. Accommodated our 10pm arrival and gave us a quick tour. The place doesn’t seem like much on the outside but is beautifully designed and renovated on the inside. With parking and quick access to Main Street we had no problem getting around. From the bed to the decor this place is a must stay for the price. Do not pass this up if you’re considering coming to Vancouver.

Wonderful stay, would consider staying again
I was looking to explore a different area of Vancouver when I discovered this property. It's exactly as advertised and the radiant floor heating was an extra bonus on the cold evenings. Shirley was wonderful in answering questions and the parking space was very helpful in the evenings where street parking was non-existent. It was a great home away from home. I would have loved to have had a frying pan that was in better condition and perhaps some better cutlery (we struggled to find a sharp enough knife) but it wasn't enough of an annoyance to take away from all the pros.

Cute modern guest home.
This guest house was perfect for our needs. The home is bright and has a clean modern style. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a big plus. Owner is extremely friendly and kept in contact when some electrical issues where happening in the area. The property was a short walk to main street where there were a lot of restaurants and shops. We could also find a lot of Car-2-Go's nearby when we needed to get around. My only suggestions would be perhaps a foam topper for the mattress, as it was a bit firm. And some decorative pillows and art to make it feel more cozy. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place!
We stayed here for a couple of nights during our visit to Vancouver and it was perfect! It's a "laneway house", but it actually faces the street, so there's no need to go down the alley. It has everything, and was super clean, modern and comfortable. Great shower too. :) The location was great - our favourite area in Vancouver. Lots of restaurants, cafes, and interesting shops nearby, as well as grocery stores - all well within walking distance. Shirley met us when we arrived, and showed my partner around (I had an appointment), but we didn't see her again after that. If you're looking for your own little private "home" in a great neighbourhood, this is it!
