Disappointing Stay – Not as AdvertisedWe were very disappointed with this property. It was much smaller than expected and uncomfortably close to the main house, offering little privacy. The “high-end waterless toilet” advertised turned out to be more like a port-a-potty, which was not what we anticipated for the price.The amenities were very poor. There was no stove, just a tiny refrigerator/freezer, an outdated microwave, and only two wineglasses. The shower was so small you could hardly turn around in it. The bed was extremely hard, with no mattress topper or anything to make it comfortable, and overall the space felt poorly equipped for a relaxing stay.The property was located on one of the busiest roads on the island, so the traffic noise was constant and unpleasant. To make matters worse, it was next to a daycare, which added even more noise, and the host had family come halfway through our stay who brought an aggressive dog, which made us feel unsafe and unwelcome.We’ve stayed at many VRBOs, but this one did not meet the standard we’ve come to expect. I would not recommend this property.
