Great Location

Great chalet for family vacation
Rented the property for the weekend to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a skiing vacation. Fantastic location. Great chalet, clean, spacious and with plenty of amenities. Check in was a breeze. Lots of room to park multiple cars. Thank you.

Location over interior space
The house was perfectly located. The house was clean but smelled of overwhelming floral cleaners and the furniture was badly broken. There is a ton of space for kids but the house is tired and need of updating. Lovely hosts but go ready for the early morning 1990s.

Great Family Skication!
We loved this house! We had plenty of room for adults and kids. Walking distance to the mountain and the fabulous village. Bo was extremely responsive. For those that have to work from home even on vacation, the house was great. We can’t wait to come back!

2 mins to Stratton lift
Location location loacation...This house is literally 2 mins drive from the village/life and our 4 family ski trip there were very enjoyable. The host Bo was very responsive. The only thing was that some tiles felt off from the basement restroom and we didn't use it in the trip. but other than, it's a 5 star experience.

Great property. Ideal for our purposes as a bunch who needed to be close to the village. Back door on a code was awesome with some many of us coming and going for races. The only request was for larger towels. I think someone got a surprise 😳.

Perfect House, Perfect Location!
My friends and I had an amazing stay at Bo and Faye’s mountain house! It is in an amazing location a super quick walk to Stratton mountain and village (so close we literally walked with our skis to the mountain one day)! Bo and Faye were extremely responsive and got back to me within minutes on each and every question. If we ever go back to Stratton we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Convenient location and child proof
You can’t beat the location or the space. It’s perfect for families with kids as there are two separate family areas to congregate. The house is dated and very basic, but that’s great for lots of kids running around.

Perfect!
Our stay at Bo and Fae's house was exactly what we hoped for a multigenerational ski trip. The house had everything we needed. Sleeping arrangements for 15 were phenomenal with more than adequate baths; gathering space was great (many fooze ball and air hockey tournaments) and the closeness to the mountain was great. You can tell the house has been used and enjoyed by many. It isn't pristine which as great because I didn't have to be anxious about the kids. Bo was very responsive to questions and small concerns. Perfect!!

Super communicative and responsive hosts. House was just as advertised. Nothing fancy, just solid... great fireplace, plenty of space, nice high ceilings, and excellent location. We would be glad to come back.

Good but could be better
Nice location and generally and good clean house. Beds were good and everything worked. I gave the eval deductions because when we got there several things were broken like old chairs and one of the kitchen cabinet doors. We also arrived to a pile of trash likely from the previous renters but was removed the next morning. The kitchen has a lot of stuff and actually worked quite well but some of the pots and pans are just old and nasty and I couldn’t use them. PLENTY of plates and cups to go around for sure. Overall its a nice place and has good room and spaces for 1-2 families. I thought that what you got for the cost was higher than my expectations. Some things like the kitchen and chairs should have been more dialed.

Fun family gathering
We enjoyed the home and were extremely comfortable! We even were able to walk over to the lodge for the fireworks show. I do wish the price was a bit lower so we could have stayed longer, but we stayed over the holiday. Holiday prices at Stratton are high.

Good experience, some buts thoug
We enjoyed the stay overall, great location. The house has pretty old appliences and some and lots of non functioning stuff in the lower section. What was really unacceptable were the mice dropping inside the kitchen cabinets next to silverware and towels. Great fireplace in the house, but no fireplace we could have used. Great potential to the place but needs some attention.

Great place to stay!
My group and I had a great experience staying at this property. There was ample space for everyone, including many different sleeping options. Both the upstairs and downstairs living spaces gave everyone lots of room to move around. The house was well stocked with kitchen items, bedding and towels and everything was super clean. The house was close and convenient to the village (just a 5 minute walk) and there was ample parking. Bo was super responsive to all of my questions. We're hoping that the event we came up to Stratton for will take place there next year as well...if so, we'd strongly consider staying here again!

Location, location...
The proximity and convenience of the house to the village was perfect! We had 14 adults - which was a little tight on sleeping arrangements, but the amenities were great. Thanks to Bo & Faye - we will put this house on our list for our next trip to Stratton, and definitely recommend to our friends!

Great property for a group of families or friends
This is our 3rd time back at Bo's house and it is great. The owners have always been helpful with early check-ins, the house has lots of bedrooms and a kitchen big enough to cook for many. It is a short walk to the slopes and we love the fact that it is a free standing house, meaning we don't hear noise from neighbors (and they don't hear us).

Perfect Stratton Ski House!
Our Group of 16 (9 Adults and 7 Children) loved our weekend at this house. The house is very clean and spacious. The ski shuttle to the mountain is a short walk away and we walked to the village at night when we didn’t have our gear on. The kids loved the separate living area with air hockey table, while the adults enjoyed hanging out in the open living room/kitchen upstairs. Bo was very nice and acommodating and made the check in and out process so easy. This house is a great, and we hope to be back next winter

Awesome trip to the mountain
Bo was so helpful and very quick to respond to my many questions. He arranged it so that we could get into the house early the day of arrival. Everything was provided that we needed for our stay. There were plenty of towels and blankets and cooking supplies. We had a large group of 16 and we had plenty of room. Our group had 8 children ages 10-18 and they loved the air hockey machine, we played many tournaments. We plan on returning to the house in the future. The distance to base lodge was walking, we did walk on m any occasions. We also used the shuttle when we were in ski gear.

The location to the Stratton Lodge is really great. Bo is a very helpful host answering all questions by email or text, and the house is quite spacious and comfortable, and stocked with all basic essentials. We would stay there again.

Great experience
The house was exactly as described. Owner was very communicative and had everything we needed for 3 families (plus grandparents - total of 9 adults and 9 children). Location was great to get to the mountain, including a small bus that can ferry skiers/snowboarders to the mountain every 5-10 minutes. It helped that there was a big snow storm during the trip which made the skiing incredible. Children loved playing and hanging out in the house and sleeping in the bunk bed room. Would highly recommend this home for a gathering of 15-18 people.

Cozy and convenient!
We were in town for a wedding on the top of the mountain and this home could not have been more perfectly suited to our needs. Our group of ten were very comfortable and the house was situated perfectly. We were able to walk to all of the festivities in just a couple of minutes. I was not in the house much as I had to be at a lot of the wedding activities, but the others report that they went hiking and generally had a great time. Thanks again for letting us stay!

Stratton Vermont
It was a very nice stay at this cozy house. The house has two stories, three bedrooms on the upper/ground level (king ensuite, queen, two twins) and two bedrooms on the lower level (actually three bedrooms, but one room was locked for the owner's own use. Queen ensuite and two bunk beds). It would be most comfortable for 12-13 people but can stretch to 16-17, depends on how the group is formed. My group had a total of 15 people from five families, a little squeeze as we tried to have everybody slept in a bedroom... The house is very tidy and kitchen is well equipped. When I said "well equipped" I mean it! There were many things/tools/pots my group brought ended up continue storing in the boxes because you can find similar things/tools/pots in the kitchen, and some are even more! The owner Bo was very responsive! Any question you have, you called, he would get back to you soon. The lower level has a family room with a bar table, small ping pong table, and wii, perfect for children to have their own entertainment area (my group had 7 kids ranging from age 5 to age 16). The house is all carpeted but the front entrance has mudroom area, so you can leave your shoes out and walk comfortably in the house. One can take note of the description on the house and take references on other reviews to get a good picture of the house. Overall, it is a great house situated on a great location.
