First and foremost, the exterior of the property gives a fairly decent impression. However, the issues begin as soon as you step inside the rooms.
The air conditioning was not functioning—something absolutely essential given Vernon’s high summer temperatures. The bathroom was dirty, as were the towels, and there were hairs scattered throughout the room. To make matters worse, the window blind was broken, which was particularly inconvenient since the window was the only way for cool air to circulate.
On Saturday at 7:00 AM, loud music started blaring from one of the rooms, and the staff did nothing to address the situation. The same thing happened again later that night.
However, the most disappointing part of the experience was the attitude of the front desk attendant. He was dismissive and unprofessional when concerns were raised, and seemed visibly annoyed when receiving feedback. Furthermore, he does not allow check-out before 9:00 AM, as he claims it interferes with his sleep schedule. This is particularly problematic for travelers who have an early itinerary or long drive ahead.
In short, if you're looking for rest, comfort, and a welcoming environment, I would strongly advise against staying at this property.
