Buena ubicación y cocina disponible. Lo malo es que no hay ascensor hasta la última planta y las escaleras son algo peligrosas para subir con maletas.

Hostel pequeño, con pocos baños para tantas habitaciones los baños estan en la planta baja y tiene tres plantas. A nosotros nos toco una habitación de la tercera planta y teniamos que bajar dos pisos por unas escaleras muy estrechas. Las zonas comunes en la planta baja estaban bien

Very creaky building where even the slightest noise will be heard by everyone. The restrooms are quite small and on the floor I stayed on there was only one. Kitchen and dining area were incredible but the room felt like I was in a mental asylum… and to add, my sheets were dirty and stained, I slept fully clothes as I was uncomfortable from touching the sheets. Location was convenient tho. I did the Katla Ice Caving (with Troll expedition) and the pick up point is right across the street.

Ok accommodation, rooms are tiny and its quite noisy at night as the walls are paper thin. The kitchen area is well equipped and there is a communal area to relax in.

Ilmanvaihto ei pelaa.
Kolmen hengen huoneessa ei ole minkäänlaista ilmanvaihtoa. Talvella se on ongelma, huono hengitysilma yöllä. Muuten hyvä paikka ja edullinen muuhin hintatasoon verrattuna. Ei liikuntaesteisille.

Eenvoudige accommodatie, maar gezien de prijs wel conform verwachting. Hele kleine kamer. Prima bedden. Een gezamenlijke ruimte op de begane grond met een goed uitgeruste keuken, alhoewel de pannen echt aan vervanging toe zijn. Heel gehorig, hetgeen inherent is aan een oud pand.

An old building located at Vik town. Our room on Level 3 and the only way was to climb up a spiral staircase. It was really a challenge for us to bring up 2 L Size luggages to the room. The room is narrow and beware of the door height which easily hit your head.

Great stay!
Great rate for simple rooms. We had a smaller room, but it was exactly as described. The hostel was very clean. And the common areas were very clean. Will stay again!

Didn’t worth the price
The room is too small, only 8x6 square feet,so it’s very uncomfortable. It didn’t worth it with the price. Also the staircase is too narrow and steep. It’s totally unsafe to travel up and down with luggage. Other than that everything is clean.

The hostel/hotel is clean and affordable though you must consider these are hostoric buildings and therefore old and small. Beach is beautiful (volcanic), the town is nice except close to the beach where many buildings need a make up and have scrap. Vik is a good stop for food and gas.

Op onze verdieping geen wc en badkamer. Kamer was klein en ongezellig. Redelijke gedateerd, wel schoon genoeg. Personeel was vriendelijk.

Great place to stay. Clean, with good facilities, and central location - good value for money. The room was comfortable, just too hot! Would recommend.

Comodo ostello in uno dei pochi paesini del sud con qualche servizio (benzinaio, supermercato, ristoranti). Condizioni accettabili, camera piccola ma pulita, cucina e aree comuni vivibili. Struttura tutta di legno quindi un po’ rumorosa ma ben tenuta. Prezzo eccessivo se fosse altrove, ma purtroppo nella media islandese.

Ein sehr süßes Hostel in einem alten aber schön gerichteten Haus. Die Zimmer waren sauber und schön. Super Lage für alles was man in Vik sehen muss. Sehr nettes Personal und nichts auszusetzen.

Puffin hostel was so lovely and quaint. The kitchen and common areas were frequently cleaned. Vik was a really lovely area and it was easy to walk to everything or drive a few minutes to see waterfalls and black sand beaches!

Confortable mais mal insonorisé
Bon accueil. Lits très confortables mais chambres mal insonorisées et voisins très bruyants. Il serait souhaitable de mettre des affiches demandant le silence de 22h à 7 heures par ex. Escalier pour accéder aux chambres assez raide. Cuisine commune bien pratique

Apprécié: staff accueillant, chambre petite mais avec tout le nécessaire, espace commun agréable Moins apprécié: le parking peu pratique, bruyant... notre porte était sur le palier de l'escalier: coups de valise dans la porte, discussion dans l'escalier, on entendait les toilettes à côté et les activités nocturnes des voisins
