Hotel publicity says Air condicionated in all rooms, but os no true. After we complained several times that in our room was no a/c, the staff agree us that rooms haven't a/c. The recepcionist invited us to change the hotel if we didn't like it. The hotel is o.k., but the place is uncomfortable to travel every day to the beach (dar and curved roads).

Tranquilo, cómodo y limpio. Habitaciones acogedoras. Piscina agradable con vistas a la sierra. Personal atento. Una recepcionista argentina, gran conocedora de la isla, nos facilitó información muy útil. El restaurante no nos gustó. Es excesivamente caro si no tienes pensión completa. Un camarero fue bastante impertinente.

We spent our honeymoon here and it was extremely special. Lovely and quiet which was expected as it was the shoulder season. We were upgraded which made our stay extra special. The restaurant serves beautiful food, the vegetables and herbs are fresh from the gardens around the hotel. The staff were incredible, our Italian wasn’t brilliant but we all made an effort and were able to understand one another. Definitely recommend this hotel if you like your hiking and cycling, or just relaxation!

Due giorni per noi
Troppo caro . Al ristorante conviene pagare 30 euro in più a testa per avere la mezza pensione. Prenotando alla carta si spende di più. Ambiente più familiare che professionale il che è relativamente positivo per un resort 4 stelle. Un po’ trascurato negli spazi comuni . Camere belle ma gelide. Orario check in troppo tardi (h16) , orario check out veramente troppo presto (h10). Abbiamo esperienza e non ci erano mai capitati orari così. Colazione priva di scelta, inoltre in essa è inclusa nel buffet solo una bevanda, le altre si pagano ( mai vista una cosa del genere ) . Comunque tutti i lati negativi sono smorzati dalla bellezza del paesaggio , della piscina, dall’arredamento totamente in stile sardo

The Grand Budapest
This hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel, its far from it. The place visually looks pretty good but everything that makes a 4 star hotel is missing. - The restaurant is terrible - the food everywhere on the island is amazing so i'm not sure how they get it so wrong. - At a 4 star hotel you expect the room to be cleaned everyday and receive new towels. not at this 4 start hotel, this you have to request. - The swimming pool is freezing! you might think on a hot day this would be refreshing but its so cold i never saw anyone in it. - you have to pay to use the sauna no matter how much you spend on treatments and the same goes for the hot tub. the film Grand Budapest probably best describes this hotel. It probably used to be good but now its just lazy

Una vacanza al fresco sembrava impossibile invece!
Ambiente naturale circostante: fantastico (delizioso bosco in cui passeggiare, temperatura estiva 12 gradi meno rispetto alla città), piscina: fantastica. Struttura carente di ascensori tra i piani, necessario passare all'esterno per raggiungere sala ristorante e sala prima colazione, personale gentile, organizzazione funzionale: da perfezionare.

Wonderful location
The hotel and its location are stunning, but a bit remote. It is hidden away in the woods, some 35 mins. from the beaches and restaurants. It has a restaurant, but found this restricted in its menu and slightly expensive, however the service was excellent. The only down side during our stay was the influx of 30+ cyclists for one night and little breakfast left for others. The toilet extract fan did not work in our room so we were upgraded by Emelia to a junior suite, which was a very nice.

Eccellenza 'Naturale', hotel e ristorante stellari
Vacanza di relax, buon cibo, sport (passeggiate nel bosco secolare di lecci; nuoto in piscina grande sempre in ordine, opportunità di escursioni. Eccellente la ristorazione, sia nella formula mezza pensione sia nell'offerta di pietanze del menu alla carta, tutte preparate con cura certosina e con alimenti scelti, prevalentemente bio. Tradizione e qualità Quattro Stelle. Straordinario il pranzo di Ferragosto sotto i lecci e con "tavoli di granito" intovagliati a puntino, con servizi da ristorante di eccellenza, carni arrostite all'aperto (porceddu e capra), culurgiones fatti da Maria, antipasti (tanti) della migliore cucina sarda e non solo.

Bodde två nätter i augusti. Välskött & romantiskt hotell i vackra & avskilda omgivningar. Hotellet ligger avskilt i fin skog utanför lilla byn Villagrande. Observera att pga bergigt område med dåliga & branta vägar tog det lång tid att köra till olika stränder. Det enda som fanns på gångavstånd från hotellet var lilla krogen Il Bosco, som dock var supercharmigt & mkt god mat! Charmigt poolområde m stor pool. Trots att hotellet var fullbelagt så var det aldrig trångt eller så någonstans. Svag wi-fi, både på rum & i allmänna utrymmen.

Gutes Wellnesshotel mit schönem Pool
Herrlicher Pool eingebettet in eine sehr schöne Anlage. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb der Ortschaft in wunderbarer Umgebung. Die Klimaanlage hat bei uns in beiden Zimmern nicht funktioniert, allerdings war dies nicht so tragisch, da die Aussentemperatur in der Nacht auf ein angenehmes Niveau abkühlte und somit mit offenem Fenster geschlafen werden konnte. Die Zimmer waren sauber, bis auf die Duschen, welche entkalkt werden müssten. Ausserdem waren die Duschen sehr klein.

Resort in zona stupenda
resort posto in zona stupenda. La grande piscina sopperisce distanza dal mare. Male parcheggio buio,percorso tortuoso da fare per arrivare all'ingresso e stanze con bisogno di insonorizzazione.

Monti e mare Close to the mountains, near the sea
Sono stato con mia moglie. Premetto che sono un appassionato di natura, pesca sportiva (con rilascio del pesce) e di mare. Cosa di meglio di questo meraviglioso hotel? Immerso nel verde dei lecceti e dell pinete a 800 m slm, lontano quanto basta dalla strada principale, a pochissimi km da un fantastico lago e dai monti del Gennargentu, in 20 minuti sei al mare su una costa, quella di Tortolì, tra le più belle della Sardegna. E poi struttura nuova e tenuta meravigliosamente. Piscina fantastica. Stanze pulitissime, spaziose e accoglienti, TV satellitare. Infine personale cortesissimo e disponibile su tutto, anche per scambiare due chiacchiere del più e del meno su quella bella parte di Sardegna che è l'Ogliastra. Dimenticavo: ottima colazione a buffet con prodotti tipici del luogo, e non solo. ______ I would state that I am a lover of nature, fishing (catch and release only!!!) and sea. What could be better than this wonderful hotel? Merged in the green of the pines and oaks, 800m on sea level, far enough away from the main road, a few miles from a great lake and the mountains of Gennargentu. In about 20 minutes you're at sea on a coast among the most beautiful in Sardinia. And then the structure is new and kept very well. Fantastic pool. Rooms were spotless, spacious and comfortable, Finally, glad staff and helpful throughout, even for a chat about that beautiful part of Sardinia which is the Ogliastra. Great buffet breakfast with local products, and more.

Lovely hotel but major disappointment over pool
When originally booking this hotel, I was aware of its secluded location (which was lovely), but still had booked as there was a large, beautiful looking pool which meant that we could spend time relaxing there and not drive every day. However the pool had not been filled. This had been explained as bad weather had put the maintenance works behind (maintenance works I saw little evidence of during the stay, with beautiful weather). I suspect this was more due to the fact that only a few rooms were occupied and they would not fill it until more into peak season. This was a huge disappointment as I would not have booked this otherwise lovely hotel if I had known we had no pool. The staff were pleasant and upgraded us to a nicer room, but unfortunately nothing would make up for the lack of pool. This meant that as there was nothing (apart from spa treatments) to do here we had to travel out every day and covered quite some distance to occupy ourselves. Its on this basis I would not recommend the hotel as I wouldn't want to disappoint a friend!

Un posto magico
Situato all'interno del bosco di S. Barbara, questo hotel dispone di una posizione imbattibile. 20 km dalle splendide spiagge è perfetto per trascorrere una vacanza al mare godendo del refrigerio boschivo quando fa troppo caldo. Coppie in mood romantico vivranno momenti magici. I bambini si divertiranno a giocare nel parco giochi in mezzo al bosco. La grande piscina è un luogo perfetto per per passare un giorno ‘in pigrizia’. La cena è genuina, i piatti buoni e ben serviti. La SPA di nuova costruzione non funziona correttamente e una nuova gestione dovrebbe presto migliorare il servizio. Il personale dell'hotel è professionale, i reclami vengono presi sul serio e la reception farà il possibile per accogliere ogni richiesta. Ci sono altri servizi da migliorare: WiFi – prende solo nella hall. Non c’è servizio bar né una lounge dove soggiornare con amici e bere qualcosa (il bar frigo contiene un paio di drinks): In un luogo dove per raggiungere il primo bar bisogna muoversi in macchina, questo può essere un problema. Colazione: è stato triste vedere che usano prodotti da supermercato e salumi preconfezionati dato che la zona è famosa proprio per gli affettati. Il buffet può soddisfare un italiano ma chi si aspetta una colazione continentale rimarrà deluso. Dati i prezzi bassi, la meravigliosa posizione e l’evidente volontà di migliorare il loro servizio, Hotel Orlando sarebbe la mia prima scelta nella regione.

Enttäuschung in den Bergen
Obwohl es recht kalt war, wurde die Hotelheizung nicht angeschaltet. Erst nach einer Beschwerde an der Rezeption wurde ein Heizlüfter gebracht, die richtige Heizung "dürfe" man noch nicht einschalten. Die Zimmer sind recht groß, eine Renovierung würde allerdings auch nicht schaden. Vom Besuch des sogennanten SPA-Bereichs können wir nur abraten. Die Saunen haben teilweise nicht oder schlecht funktioniert und der Pool war zu kalt. Vor dem Besuch bekamen wir eine Fehlinformation der Rezeption bezüglich des Preises für den Spa-Bereich, der beim Check-out sich in ein mittleres Drama auswuchs, uns wurde gar eine "Lösungsfindung" mittels des Hoteleigenen Rechtsanwalts "angeboten". Der Besuch des Spa ist zudem wahnsinnig teuer. Das Personal ist teilweise nur italienisch sprechend, was wir für ein 4 Sterne-Haus als unzureichend empfunden haben.

gut, aber im oktober zu spät
netter service und gutes preis-leistungsverhältnis im oktober. allerdings ist dann ende saison, recht kalt im zimmer und daher der aufenthalt weniger zu empfehlen. die küche hat auch vieles nicht mehr von der menukarte und auch in der weiteren umgebung hat vieles zu. schade, dass ein hotel in den bergen kein raum anbieten kann um velos einzustellen. wlan leider nur in der lobby.
