Staying at Sound Garden Hotel in Warsaw, Poland was overall a mediocre experience. Some things were outstanding, such as cleanliness. But the room, although modern and interesting, lacked even the basic inclusion of a mini-fridge and microwave. The room was also very small. Apparently small won out over basic conveniences.
The almost complimentary breakfast was almost good. The fare was basic, bland, and lacked the quality and inspiration one would expect at a hotel that appears to cater to business clientele.
Lastly, although I was there three nights, I never managed to secure WiFi the entire time I was there. I visited the front desk three times over the first 24 hours I was there with no avail. They even promised to send up an engineer to look into the problem, but they never did. Most of the nearby routers had signal, but no internet access. I finally had to use the hotel's unsecured internet service and had to pay my anti-virus provider another 30 USD for VPN service to get around the problem.
