“Hotel is still recovering from wildfire events last summer, so breakfast restaurant is still not opened and you receive a kind of breakfast pack if your booking includes it. Other than that, staffing is gentle and helpful, hotel activities are pretty interesting and recommended if you want to learn about Hawaian culture and traditions. The beach is incredible and the location is top. Hope they can recover everything and back to normal soon to give guests all the potential this hotel has.”

“Location and pool area are fantastic but the food at the pool bar is awful. The hotel needs updating too. The elevator and hallways smell old and musty. Our washing machine didn’t clean the clothes at all and the oven literally took 30mins to preheat. We had an ocean view but it was not direct and for what we paid for the room, I felt ocean view was false advertisement. You can’t see it from the living room. Bartenders and staff were fantastic though.”

“Great unit and location. As others stated the unit is dated but it was very clean and has everything you need as well as extras like beach equipment, chairs, a cooler and lots of kitchen essentials. Walking distance to ABC, a grocery store and food trucks. The view was outstanding and the pools and grounds were beautiful. Would definitely book this unit again. ”

However, a few things that didn’t meet our expectations were the following: -overall checkin was frustrating and communication was lacking from the property management company. -lack of items in unit such as towels. None in the kitchen and no face towels. -shower/bathroom was a bit untidy when we arrived. -listing is a bit deceiving as the photos show the ocean front pool which is not apart of the complex. “We had the best stay at Maui Marriott Ocean Club! Everything went smoothly from the time we checked in. The best part was the free parking in the garage! Our condo had the most incredible view from the balcony. We loved the kitchenette and fridge fir all our groceries we bought before we arrived. “the photos show you what your getting. the Marriott's Maui Ocean Club has been around. “Property was beautiful, rooms were perfect. Beach was also great with walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Cleaners were too thorough in the kitchen- leaving zero condiments, coffee or any staples; but couches had some food underneath and some liquid spill across the floor. Nothing we couldn’t deal with and overall had a great time!”
