This was the best place by far on my trip from Ontario to BC and back. The rooms were clean and quiet. They have a restaurant and bar and offer free hot buffet breakfast in the morning. We had an excellent dinner in the bar and a few drinks. The staff are very friendly and made our stay much better. We will definitely make this place a stop our next way through.

The rooms were clean and very spacious pool has been closed for sometime free breakfast was pretty good for a free breakfast went for supper at the restaurant and was pretty pricy. Staff were very friendly there was a little arcade playroom for kids attached the restaurant

The pool was not functional which wasn't a big deal. The buffet wasn't great, the hash browns were really dry, no juice or fruit or bagels to be had. There was no kleenex, no coffee/tea in room but it did have a coffee maker.... There was a fight coming out of the bar past our hotel room, which woke the whole hotel up but that wasn't really the hotels fault that there was idiots there.

Went with a few hockey families. Kids played mini sticks in the empty pool and it was perfect!!!! Large space for gathering to visit and eat dinner and have a few drinks. No worrying about kids bothering other guests!

The owner of hotel overbooked the room and gave me a room he knew needed work and damage in the shower. Water had leaje from the bathroom over the caroet. The room smell3d horroble mildew and moldy

Like breakfast and the country music on the stereo. Did not like seeing broken glass pieces littered in front of parking area, smoky smell in our room, peeling paint in the bathroom, old bathtub and counter top . Also no coffee in our room. Place is certainly run down.

Staff are very friendly. We checked in with Maddison and she was also our server in the bar. Maddison was excellent ! Our meal was delicious. You have to try the clubhouse sandwich!! An older property but the rooms are large. We have stayed here many times and will again.

While checkin was at 3, on our way at 3:45 i got a call from the property to inform me that they woulsnt hold the room past 5pm without a credit card. I found this unacceptable as there is no indication of this on their website and we did use a credit card to hold the room. Why would i give my credit card information over the phone?? Also, why am I getting calls like this?? If i arrive at midnight my room.should still be there. Our room was dirty on check in. If i couldve cancelled I wouldve and drove to moosomin instead. There was hair and stubble hair on bathroom counter. Cigarette burns in bedding. The owner is very nice but the property is in bad shape overall. The one light in the room stopped working and the olug didnt work at all after it stopped. The rooms have access to an emptied interior pool that could be very hazardous to children and there is nothing blocking it off. There is a free breakfast included which was good and the beds were comfortable. The latch on the door was missing so no extra barrier for safety. We wont be staying here again.

A great place to stay when passing through
We didn't arrive until after the front desk was closed but called the number posted and someone was there within 5 minutes. The place is a little rundown and the pool is still out of commission but the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the hot buffet breakfast was quite good.

I did not like the wrought iron gate that blocks the rooms area from the reception area that was closed at night. The sign that says use other door, does not tell you where the other door is. I felt very uncomfortable being locked in at 5:30 in the morning, while trying to leave. I called out and no one answered. I finally realized the pad lock on the gate was not connected. This was a odd feeling for a woman travelling alone and feeling trapped.

It was great. Clearly under new management and working through some challenges but the place was clean, food was excellent, breakfast was very good (although some fruit, oj etc would have been nice). We will be staying there again on our way home.

If you enjoy a juice with breakfast they are available to be ordered separately. The breakfast buffet includes, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee. The buffet is available free for room guest from 6 am to 10 am Monday to Friday and from 7 am to 11 am weekends.We hope to see you again soon.

We have stayed here several times, It's a nice family run motel. They are friendly and very helpful if required. Great value, nice quiet pet friendly facility.
