The cottage was really cute. I would have rated the property 5 star except for a couple of issues that made it not a great value. The property seemed to have just opened for the season, so maybe that's why it wasn't ready for prime time. 1) the kitchen area is not really a kitchen and isn't well stocked. There is only a very small toaster oven and a microwave. There is a gas grill with a burner which could be used for cooking. There are some plates, a couple of bowls, only 2 forks, no serving bowls, no cutting board . . . There were only two of us, so we made do. 2) the gas grill had not been cleaned in some time. Only one side would light and a grease fire broke out on the interior. I didn't notice until our steaks got extra crispy. 3) The screen porch cushions could use a good cleaning 4) the tv screen has a weird shadow 5) There was a flower pot outside by the screen door with unsightly grass growing in it. Remove the pot or plant something in it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but feel like it didn't live up to the potential.

Comfortable stay in a charming small town
Spacious, clean and comfortable cabin-like room with all the amenities & more! A wonderful screened in & covered porch so we could sit outside & enjoy the grounds. Clawfoot bathtub and separate large shower. Semi-kitchen with fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker. Very comfortable and located in the beautiful Trinity Alps.

We stayed in the Promontory cabin and was so pleasantly surprised at how modern, clean and well appointed it was! It was over 100 when we arrived and opened the door to an air conditioned cabin with some easy listening music! The patio was perfect with the day bed and chairs! The shower and tub were luxurious… nothing was spared in creating this cabin! I would have stayed longer had I known how beautiful it was! By far the most comfortable bed of all our hotel stays this vacation! Thank you so much for making our stay special and comfortable! The communication with the hostess was amazing also! 5 of 5 stars from us and we will be back but for longer!!!

Sleepless night
This is a very quaint property overlooking a little river. The cottage was clean inside but needs a little more attention on the outside. July and there are still leaves all over the deck and the patio furniture looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long while. We were extremely disappointed as the AC wasn’t working and it was 85 degrees outside and probably 95 inside. The bed was hard as a rock, a piece of plywood would have been just as comfortable.

We really enjoyed staying here, the cottage was very spacious and clean with comfortable beds and a beautiful huge bathroom. The screened porch with grille would be lovely in the summer months. Very happy we found this hidden gem.

Check-in was easy and flexible for our stay. The room was pretty clean. The property was not as listed. The Garden was non-existent or way over-grown. It was fine for a night's sleep, but I would not want to stay for an extended period of time. Limited amenities and poorly kept grounds.

Cute and clean, very well-outfitted kitchenette with dishes, pots and pans, a cheese grater, and other supplies. They even had ground coffee in a jar and single servings of 1/2 and 1/2 in the fridge. Loved the waterfall shower. I’ll be back!

We were surprised by what a cute, well maintained cottage it was. Very nice and upscale in a little town that you wouldn't expect to find this. We love the screened in patio that puts you "outside" with all the comforts of being inside. The bed and bedding were very comfortable with nice linens. The little kitchenette had everything you need. The knotty pine vaulted. ceiling with skylights were such a nice touch. The floors are hard wood and the fireplace had a nice mantle. The bathroom was also large and upscale. Just to top it off, there was direct tv and a DVD player. If it wasn't so far from home, we'd make this a regular get away.

Our Fish Camp cottage was great - very spacious, well appointed, modern fixtures, good beds. Only negative: The dinner options in Willow Creek are pretty limited.

Lovely Stay
We had a lovely stay at Coho Cottages. Everything one would need for a comfortable stay was provided...and the bathroom was amazing! the front porch with grill and table seating was an added bonus. We will return!

Cozy getaway , don’t expect much around to do.
Getaway with our dog. Not much to do in the surrounding areas (30 min drive to Blue Lake or nearest hiking trails ) but it was quiet , safe and dog friendly . Enjoyed exploring and mostly just relaxing , reading , soaking in the tub and connecting. The heated floors are super nice at night . Did notice ants on the ceiling / wall near the tub/ shower (2-6 a day) , never near any food so they weren’t a bother .
Cant go wrong with a fireplace !
Screened patio perfect for reading n taking in the sounds of the river n nearby birds.
Love dog friendly places!!!

I can not begin to explain how relaxing and comfortable this was. The bed was great. Surrounded by nature. Wish i could have stayed longer but will definitely be back. Bragged to all my friends and family about this place.

Get away from it all with style and comfort
If you are looking for a charming comfortable place in the middle of nowhere, this is it. Clean (very important these days) with lovely amenities including a soaking tub and a deck. Quiet except for a bit of road noise.

Can’t wait to go back
We loved this cottage. Plenty of space from other cottages. The owners really pay attention to detail. Extremely clean, very quiet and relaxing. My only complaint is we could stay longer because we had to head home.

Can’t wait to return and stay longer
This place is a cute and cozy hideaway. Unfortunately we came during fire season and the air was not great, so we stayed just 2 nights. The nearby river access point was also closed to allow for fire fighting base operations, but rather than searching further for another river access point, we were happy to just spend a whole day on our porch at the cottage. It’s that great of a place and we definitely want to come back.

This is the best hotel I've stayed in in awhile. The owners have thought about everything. The decor is excellent! The rooms are clean, modern and just awesome. They even give you makeup remover tissues and qtips! Wow!

If you are looking for a home away from home that feels like a cute beach cottage, than stay at Coho. Everything you need is in the Summer House Cottage. A screened in porch, BBQ, many sitting areas, walk in shower, separate vanities, small kitchen, high, wood ceilings, ambiance galore, etc. Trust me, you will want to return to this hidden gem.

Great Getaway
Great escape from city life. Nice and quiet. The cottage was clean and had everything we could have hoped for. There was even a semi-private yard for our 4 legged kid.

The property was very clean and nice. Very NICE !! the only thing was the our refrigerator did not work and we did not notice until day 2 and we lost some food. Not to much. But they came to fix it right away.. Other than that, we would go there again for sure !
