Although there was an issue with the master bathroom toilet not flushing and we were unable to use, we enjoyed our stay in Kure Beach. John and Erika were responsive to our maintenance issue.Although it was not fixed by the plumber, we didn't want our trip to be interrupted any more as it had been. Hopefully it's been taken care of since our departure as the next guests would have experienced the same thing as we did.The kitchen was one of the most well stocked kitchens we've ever expereienced at a rental. We tend to cook our dinners and that's always a plus. The floor registers were rusty which could be an issue for anyone with little ones crawling around. The dryer would sometimes not spin as well.

Location was great, right on the beach and very convenient. Great view. The unit overall was felt old and not well maintained. The flooring was very shoddy amd comimg apart in several locations. Several light bulbs were out. Flies always getting into the unit due to garbage area overflow. Needs a good deep clean instead of just quick clean ib between gusts. Carport area is very unkempt and beach toy and tents are mostly dirt and unuseable. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Overall it served its purpose but felt like we should have gotten more for our money.

Gorgeous View

The view was amazing. My only concern would be the floor registers. If I had little kids or toddlers I would be worried. In the primary bathroom the floor register was rusted and a piece broken off (metal). I would have that fixed for safety sake.

A condo was very clean! The kitchen was well stocked. The views from the balcony were spectacular!!! The location was spectacular. As a matter of fact, I don't have much of anything bad to say about this experience. We will probably be coming back to this condo again.

We went down for our wedding anniversary with another couple and the location and condo was perfect! Right on the beach, close by the outdoor pool, etc. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay or location for our trip. Owner/property manager was super easy to work with as well!

The views and beach are amazing! Location was perfect and right on the water! The place needs renovated and especially the master bathroom. Being on the beach it would have been nice to have beach towels to use and the beach chairs they had were really old, so we didn’t use them.

Great property

We've stayed in other condos at this property for decades - love the proximity to Fort Fisher along with how close we can sleep close to the waves and the ocean breeze. We like this particular property because it's an end unit, has a newly refurbished kitchen along with LVT flooring. VRBO turned out to be very easy to use, everything was handled seamlessly. The bathrooms haven't been redone - but that's a small thing.

Overall stay was very nice the shower heads could use replacement. The sensor on the liveing room door the connects to the havc was hanging on sideways when we arrived and not reading easy fix with a hair bow lol and there was trash and candy wrappers under the cushions but the over all experience was great

Terrible, horrible nightmare experience at this property.

This would have been my third experience vacationing at Kure Beach through Vrbo within the past year. The first two were wonderful, enjoyable, “can’t wait to return” type vacations! This recent experience with the owner of the property was an absolute nightmare and I will never go back to his very neglected property again!The refrigerator didn’t work from the first day of our stay. Reaching out to the owner who was rude, insulting and always needed to have the last word, telling us essentially, that we would not have a functional refrigerator until the day we were leaving his property. So we vacated this property the first day of our vacation.The unit smelled of mold upon entering. There was actual mold around the dirty bathtub and the bedrooms and bathrooms were pretty nasty, not like the pictures of the bathrooms and bedrooms shown in the ad prompting us to choose this place. I have photos of this place of everything that made our stay there so unlike our previous stays at Kure Beach, NC through Vrbo.

Lovely location

It is a beautiful location. Beach was amazing, even in December/January. Very close to Aquarium and great trails. We were extremely disappointed that the indoor pool and hot tub were not open and were a seven minute walk away. We walked all the way there to find it closed. We specifically made the reservation because of those features and feel deceived. The listing did not explain accurately and I had emailed to ensure it would be available to us. Also, when we arrived, we had not been sent the code to enter and had to call several time, waiting 30 minutes. We won't reserve again although the place itself was lovely.
