Old Motor Court
Well, with no rooms available in Winter Haven for a Softball tournament, this was it. This is an old motor court. The check in guy was OK. The room was small but clean. Very noisy all night as other guests were going to their car constantly. The beds were squeaky. The shower was OK but the shower head was at a height for children. For what it cost, it was OK but would not stay here again.

At check in, the guy was nice! Went to my room #115 and saw ants and small bugs, went to restroom, toilet paper holder broken, shower head had caulk around it, Mirror was old medicine cabinet, plus missing tiles on wall! Closet in room was were a small microwave and fridge was stored at using an surge protector for electric for fridge, microwave and LED tv! The bed was gross, pee stains or yellow stain pillow cases, and on sheets plus a cigarette burn in sheet! I felt like I was in the Bates Motel the whole time I stayed! Never again!!!

Bad Experience
Luckily, it was only a 1 night stay because there were about 40 living or dead mosquitoes in the bathroom. I charged my cell phone (I used it for my alarm clock too) only to find out in the morning my cell phone was turned off. The outlet was not working so my phone ran out of charge overnight instead of charging. It turned out I didn't need an alarm clock because a man yelling and cursing outside from 6:15 to 6:45 a.m. woke me up. The sheets and pillowcase were dirty and looked unwashed. I normally stay in inexpensive motels and I am not expecting much, but this motel was really bad.

I guess the Bates motel would be a up grade. The place needs a face lift as well as the staff. The price for what it was to high. Website should be shut down looks nothing like what u get.

Great stay, no complaints
Check in was a breeze and the room was clean. Yes the motel is dated, the sheets on the bed are dated, the tile floor is dated, BUT it was all clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The A/C Heat worked, the WiFi worked you just have to login to the right account with the code they provide you. The shower water was hot and there was great water pressure. The bed was comfortable enough to wake rested. The fridge and microwave were clean...EVERYTHING was clean, so for the price and if all you need is a room to lay your head down at the end of the day...THIS IS IT...for all those who left "bad" reviews...all I can say is when one booked THIS room it was obviously booked keeping in mind that this is in fact a Motel it is not the Ritz Carlton or any "other" luxurious hotel. It serves it's purpose well AND it's clean. That's all that matters...I've been in hotel rooms that were slightly more expensive but less clean so in my book Rose Motel rocks!

Evacuate east coast due to hurricane Matthew
This was a God sent to be able to have a reasonable rate to go & be safe. I enjoyed my 2 night stay. Thank You

Clean and cheap, not much else
Located right in town. Ok if you only need a place to crash for the night. Older motel, but everything was clean.

Motel Sucks
I didnt like how as soon as we checked in one of the workers asked me at of the two of us who is staying in the room. Like first of yall it had two beds and i was the one thay paid for the motel so why is there anyone from the motel asking me who staying and whos leaving of there was only two of us. We didnt like that at all and then also the room had bugs and stuff.

Deceived by the pictures
The picture of the room and hotel was very deceiving. The entire stay was very uncomfortable, didn't want to use the shower or restroom area. Would travel a distance to avoid staying there again.
