Near by transport was the only good thing. The man on reception (Andreas) was rude, unhelpful and sarcastic. We repeated had to ask for water glasses and the response we got was “there is no minibar in your room why do you need glasses?” I forgot my mum and I turned into reptiles and was able to drink the moisture from the air. The floorboards in the room above us were squeaking ALL night for the two nights we stayed here. We called the receptionist and he said there was no problem when in reality there was a child in the room above us running around from 6am. No apology. Nothing. No cutlery, no glasses, no toiletries. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If you hate yourself, your partner or sleeping, book to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very conveniently situated near a tram line that connects you to the main station. Lots of great food options nearby. Unlike other reviews we found it to be quiet. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The lift is working. Overall we were very happy with this hotel.

Täuschung bei den verfügbaren Parkplätze
Es kann nicht sein, dass im Internet steht "Parkplätze verfügbar". Dies wenn das Hotel sogar nach dem Setzen des Filter als ein solches aufgeführt wird. Vor Ort hatte es ganze 7 Parkplätze für geschätze 50 Zimmer. Diese waren alle besetzt und wir mussten das Auto in einem anderen Hotel in der Nähe für CHF 35.- parkieren. Did the job
Just a short layover in Zurich. Good budget stay. No extras included but clearly stated. Easy access to public transportation and popular places to eat.

Avoid in Summer
Be very careful about staying here in the summer. Not only do they not have AC, they only have a heavy comforter. And you'll have to open up the windows and hear an extremely busy street that is very loud. Location is convenient, but good luck getting a good night's sleep if you stay here in the summer.

It is very reasonable priced. Bed is good and rooms are basic. There were multiple reception staff. One of them was particularly rude towards me. On the first encounter, he rudely asked my room number which I provided. On the second encounter he asked my room number again, which I provided. I got accused for providing him a different room number than the day before. He rudely insisted that I showed him my room key. That really ruined the last night.

I’m shocked expedia even offers this hotel to its users. I have been using expedia for years and I have never ever thought a disturbingly unclean, and deeply rude hotel staff would somehow end up becoming an option on the website. Hotel is old, unclean, everything smells and it is acceptable for the hotel staff so they don’t even bother cleaning anything. I recommend people to stay away from this establishment.

Hotel Olympia war geschlossen, wurde stattdessen im Hotel Mercure Stoller untergebracht. Gut eingerichtet, Hotelzimmer hatte sogar einen Balkon. Bett waren leider zwei zusammengestellte Einzelbetten. Personal sehr freundlich und professionell.

Nichts besonders
Anstatt beim Hotel Olympia wurde ich beim Mercure Hotel untergebracht, ohne vorher informiert worden zu sein. Man musste eine Nummer wählen, welche beim Eingang angezettelt war, um die unfreundlichste Info zu bekommen. Ich habe gegen 22:00 Uhr eingecheckt. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption hat mich einige Sekunde angesen, al wäre ich ein Drogendealer, der ganzen Tag am Dealen war. Ich war ganzen Tag am Steuer und war extrem Müde. Den Blick hätte er sich sparen können. Das Hotel hatte angeblich 4 Sterne , dagegen hatte das Zimmer höchstens 2 Sterne Standard. Das Zimmer war vorallem kalt.

Sicuramente il prezzo è negli standard di Zurigo, ma non vale assolutamente quella cifra. Letto scomodo, cuscino semi-inesistente, moquette a macchie, rumore della strada insopportabile, e della camera accanto che sembrava stessero girando un film porno

Jättebra läge och fin personal. Dock luktade det instängt och svett på rummet så man fick ha fönstret öppet dygnet runt. Sen var det väldig lyhört så man hörde alla omkring en.

Service super!! Bekam eine warme, wunderbar kuschelige Decke, als ich darum bat, weil ich nachts sonst gefroren hätte. Damit habe ich bestens geschlafen. Viiiiel besser als die vorgefundene dünne Standard (Sommer-)Decke. Allerdings: die Matratze im Zimmer in der 1.Etage könnte erneuert werden. Sie ist schon reichlich durchgelegen und/oder einfach zu weich.
