Best budget hotel

Best budget hotel i was stay, Bigger parking, swimming pool, Breakfast, But the air cond is not so cool while at a day time, at night is cool enough.

Very nice hotel good surrounding with tasty bfast

Overall experience was amazing, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the hotel the ambiance was good the swimming pool was great I just loved the stay the overall experience was amazing

Great Staff - Low STD rooms

The place is falling into ruins, the only saving grace is that the reception and security staff are brilliant people. (They do care about the customers) Breakfast was disgusting and so was the shower in the room.

Excellent reception and security staff. But that is about all that was passable. Room shower was a disaster should be ashamed about this. Ok some things were good ie.(Coffee in the room, swimming pool an asset) Breakfast more suited to refugees from Somalia. Certainly not acceptable to International travelers. Sorry, but I will not recommend to any other western travelers

An okay stay

kind a nice view during the morning but at night a little bit dark and at that time it is a bit difficult to find the place due to the entrance renovation. breakfast was okay and there were lots of cats hanging around the area which is a bit upset for the hygienic factor.

Chinese new year vacation

we stayed for 2 days. This hotel is convenient and near to Kuah jetty. Plenty of parking lot. Easy to find because near to main road. The room is cozy but i can hear my neighbor chatting through the link door.

Disappointing....Unexpecteding Poor Condition

Main problem is poor state of maintenance n disrepair ...premises as well as room facilities..poorly functional e.g air conditioners systems, TV channels outdated no cable network, dirty pools, overgrown unkempt gardens. Even main reception n dinning rooms poorly furnished n unhygienic..What more needs to be said ? Except staff were polite but not well trained in all matters relating to above ....Time to revamp if it wants to compete with better ones.Only good point lies with location near town n other center of facilities.

Overrated Hotel

Hotel is in sore need of a makeover! Room are chalet style & while ok for the price paid, it is really really old with most of the furniture about to fall apart. Also, does not have a phone in the room to communicate with the reception in case of light or toilet facility breakdown or if guest experiences an emergency e.g. fall or sickness. Also, does not provide an umbrella in the room & as chalet is some ways from reception & main dining area, if there's a downpour, as happened in morning during 2nd day of my stay, there is no way for guest to get to dining area for breakfast since there is no covered walkway to prevent guest from getting drenched!! Reception staff are also not conversant in English, so it was good thing that I was able to speak a smattering of Bahasa to make my needs known. As I was a lone guest, my stay was ok but would not recommend families to stay here unless drastic improvements to facilities are made! Also, hotel is situated about 3 kms from downtown so really need to take cab to get anywhere. Recommend that hotel should provide some sort of shuttle service to Kuah town if it wants to attract more adventurous stayers! It has quite a nice pool; however, not sure how often pool is clean as there were twigs. leaves & dead insects floating on the water surface & the bottom of pool looks quite suspect. On day of check out in early morning, saw maintenance staff throwing handfuls of chlorine into the pool which mean it is highly chlorinated!

Clean and tidy, could not ask for much more

Hotel pictures on the Expedia site are what you get, rooms are minimal but clean and cool thanks to the effective aircon. Breakfast is not buffet unless there are enough guests in the hotel and although the wifi is free it only really works in the hotel lobby. Not much to do on a rainy day, and in the monsoon season it can pour.

Abgelegenes sanierungsbedürftiges Resort

Die Anlage hat eine schlechte Ausgangslage. Zudem ist diese in keinem guten Zustand. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr bemüht. Frühstück gibt es in einer Bahnhofshalle. Das Restaurant neben dem Hote (man hat leider keine andere Wahl) macht mit Abstand das schlechteste Essen was wir je vorgesetzt bekamen. Am besten ein Hotel in Cenang buchen!

A old hotel

This hotel is near downtown. It's a hotel composed of some wooden hut blocks. But everything needs repairing and renovating. The swimming pool itself is good but the water is dirty. May be because of low occupancy, they don't change the water. Many mosquitoes inside the room. Also because of low occupancy, they don't serve buffet breakfast, people can only order a la carte. Wifi is OK.

Complaint

it was the worsed experience of my life, the hotel looks nothing like the photos. The room was old and had ants crawling around every where it also had mosquitos in the room at all times. The T.V. had 3 channels only all in Malaysian, the staff could not understand english. The swimming had children doing swimming lessons in it. It was an absolute night mare i will never go thru you again as i believe it was very false advertising. Have you ever been to this Hotel? i suggest you go stay there. Jackie

Terrible experience for hotel has to leave hotel

Breakfast filthy pool filthy noise pilsner sleep all night staff very. Aggressive expedia it is a shame :(

Decent place to stay.

Simple accommodations 3-4 km outside of town. It was perfect for what we were looking for. Clean room, aircon + TV; and the place has a pool. Breakfast included and the staff was helpful in directing us to a reliable shop where we could rent a motorbike and explore the island. Even though it's not 'in town' there were a few other restaurants next door.
