We’ve stayed at this Ramada a few times in the past and always had good experiences, but this year was a different story.
As others have mentioned, the carpets are stained and look quite worn. The room we were first given had garbage in the drawers and under the beds, so I requested a new one. The only available option was a pet-friendly room. I hadn’t stayed in one before, and unfortunately, it had a strong dog smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. I’m not sure if all pet-friendly rooms are like that, but this one definitely needed a deep clean.
When we were leaving in the morning and struggling with our luggage through the two entrance doors, the receptionist had just arrived for her shift. She did eventually help, but didn’t rush to assist us—it felt like we were more of an afterthought. The same thing happened with the couple behind us. A little more courtesy and attentiveness would have gone a long way.
Overall, this stay didn’t match the standards of our previous visits, and I hope the hotel addresses these issues for future guests.
