“do not judge a book by its cover as is in this case. situated on the freeway behind a pub we did not expect much and was very pleasantly surprised by the newness and cleanliness of the room. the downside is slow/weak internet and the bed isn’t as comfy. for short stays near footscray & sunshine where we needed to be we were very satisfied. ”

“Cheap nights stay. Room is very clean but depending on how the other guests are the bathroom can be pretty bad. Either they aren't cleaned enough or other guests don't have the courtesy to leave the communal spaces tidy.”

“The best thing is the rooftop communal area. The bunks were pretty good, had curtains. Kitchen is well organised. Bunkroom is messy with bags all over the floor i stead of in lockers or on the bunks. Overall the best of the 4 hostels I have stayed at so far in Melbourne. ”

Only think to be improved is that I wasnt in receipt of the code to get in when I arrived. I didnt have a sim card so couldnt phone. I went away and emailed Frank to get it and then went back. Ideally an automatic email and text giving these details, before check out time would have been good. Overall this is my favourite accommodation place in Melbourne. ”
