“Cheap for Tahoe but expensive for the quality. Rooms were cozy but walls were thin and water lukewarm. Check in was easy, parking sufficient, and the area seemed secure. Bring earplugs and remind yourself it's the cheapest motel on the north side of the lake and you'll be happy.”

“Cons: It was beautiful, but the downstairs bathroom was very small. There was a big chunk of ice behind the car port , PS its Tahoe in January . Pros: recently updated unit (very well done btw). Easy door code, very clean, amazing location for all the activities, very well equipped unit, and with new appliances! Will definitely be coming back. ”

We communicated several times with the manager that we never received parking passes. We were told each day that they 'were on the way', but we never received them. 2. “Room was as advertised. View was lovely from the 8th floor. Comfortable bed(s). Clean and cozy. My only desires would be for a smart tv and better outlet options for plugging in all the usuals (there may be rules against power strips which would not surprise me in a resort). The desk next to the window had a good outlet for working on the laptop and great natural light. Owner was very communicative and allowed early check in which made my first day great so I could unpack and hit the spa! Thanks...

“The Sunset Getaway gets everything right! The cabin is very cozy and the furniture and beds are so comfortable. The communication was excellent and check-in was a breeze. We walked in to a lovely fire going in the fireplace and everything was immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the television set up...just hook up your computer and you are good to go. This is perhaps the best run property that I have ever stayed. We loved our time here. ”
