“Cheap for Tahoe but expensive for the quality. Rooms were cozy but walls were thin and water lukewarm. Check in was easy, parking sufficient, and the area seemed secure. Bring earplugs and remind yourself it's the cheapest motel on the north side of the lake and you'll be happy.”

February 1st, and snow is sparse in Tahoe. We parked at the Brockway Summit Parking, but crossed the road and headed up the mountain on Spur Trail. It was warm and quiet. About a 2 mile hike up to the vista point, and the view was not disappointing! Gorgeous lake and the company of good friends.
