“Cheap for Tahoe but expensive for the quality. Rooms were cozy but walls were thin and water lukewarm. Check in was easy, parking sufficient, and the area seemed secure. Bring earplugs and remind yourself it's the cheapest motel on the north side of the lake and you'll be happy.”

“The location is good just 10 min away from alpine meadows. It is a beautiful view of the river from the room. The room was smaller than it looked in the picture and bathroom was outdated but all functional and rustic feeling to it. I have no complain for good price I paid. Grab and go breakfast was really good and highly appreciated it before hitting the slopes. We dined at the restaurant too. It was a good experience.”

“Great location if you need to be in the village. Spacious 1 bedroom with a separate pull out couch area that has a curtain for privacy if other guests need it. “We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The entire family (and our dog Mimi) enjoyed the condo and well-equipped kitchen, baking cookies after a day of skiing. Communication was great with the owner and she even went the extra mile when our daughter left her teddy bear behind. Thank you! ”

“Northstar units are generally old. This unit was also old, but has updated appliances, which was nice. The longer dining table and two full couches were also nice to have.
