“We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. “It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. “Place was clean, neat and serene. Being an older gent, having the 2 rocking chairs was perfect to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Also, they were stocked with most of anything that you might have forgotten to bring. And that was a nice little town we were close to. Recommend to anyone staying in the area. “The house was the perfect place to stay for the weekend. I was running the Blackwater Canyon half marathon and it was so convenient to be able to walk to packet pick up and the start. We walked to Purple Fiddle, Tip Top and all of the shops of Thomas in just about 10 minutes. The house was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the games were fun. ”
