“Beautiful place and good condition. Noise cancelling was not true, we could hear the hallway, the community room above us and the neighbours pretty loudly. Staff often didnt speak english or misunderstood us frequently, but they were all friendly. A lot of families were there with children, i imagined it as an adult oriented resort, but if you have kids, probably this is also a good place for you. ”

“Loved that we saw no other tourists here and in the city walking around. The staff were great and this hotel was well priced as a stopgap between Thekaddey and Kochin. We stayed here to be close to visit the Bird Sanctuary. Walking around town was fascinating and lots of stores giving a glimpse into every day life of locals. ”

“Great property and great room. Provided an upgraded room. But the trails are not accessible and available. Staff was poor… front staff tried to overcharge and did not offer an apology when the mistake was pointed out. ”

“It was a worst experience staying in Lumino, I was charged extra than the money I paid online. But paying that also it was a worst experience. Bed springs where gone, bathroom locks where broken, bathroom door was half broken, tv didn’t work, pathetic smell, worst staff behaviour and their body language, 6*3 bathroom size worst to the core, overall very terrible experience ”

“Nice views from the property including experience from rooftop restaurant. Food was great as well. Every staff member was super helpful and ensured that our stay was something to cherish forever. Very welcoming atmosphere overall and wonderful experience. ”

“Good staff good service ”

“Hotel itself is up a very steep hill and a bit far from Munnar, only suitable if you have a driver. The staff are what make this hotel and the views. The hotel itself is quite noisy as the rooms are around an atrium and not we’ll sound proof. We were unfortunate to stay when a large Indian family were also visiting and they were extremely noisy going between rooms and shouting in the corridor/atrium. The staff moved our room and helped as best they could.”

“Very close to nature. Small property in the middle of nowhere. Lovely couple that run it. Very relaxing. Don’t miss the Jeep sunrise tour. We had great time.”

“Séjour très agréable. Notre hôte a été d’une grande aide pour organiser nos visites et activités, s’adaptant à ce que nous souhaitions. Le restaurant est très bon et abordable. Tout s’est très bien passé.”

“The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The location was perfect however our stay was not great! The fan in the room was wobbly and shaking really bad even on speed 1 with a loud noise. When we shared our concern with the staff he came and he checked for himself and he giggled when we said that we are scared the fan will fall on us while sleeping. He said he will come back and never did, we never got a new room or didn’t even come back to fix the fan. The shower before we used it...
