“Four of us stayed at Almost Heaven for a weekend away. House was perfect for our needs. We ventured to Terra Alta to visit High Ground Brewery (definitely recommend). Will definitely consider returning for future weekends. Only suggestion? Listing where we could get fire wood. We asked three different stores (after each recommended the other) to no avail. No fire for us. ”

“If you want a real getaway weekend this is the place for you. You need to be prepared to travel on some backroads but once you get to Alpine Lake it is beautiful. The internet was out almost our entire weekend and I did report to the management three times without hearing back from them. The beds were very comfortable kitchen was stocked just okay in my opinion. We appreciated the cleanliness. “Our stay started off rocky. There was a storm that knocked out the power right before we arrived. Half our stay was in the dark, lol Other than the power outage, we enjoyed our stay so much. We can’t wait for a return visit next year. ”

“Great house and great experience but the instructions that are written in the different information manuals and online are contradictory. So the procedure to shut the front door didn’t work and what to do on departure was also different in different areas. That’s my only complaint.”
